This is a fine location. Plenty of of parking and they have a drive up mailbox which is super convenient. They also have a mailbox that is big enough to deposit small packages that have prepaid postage. I have only been inside during the holidays and it's always a madhouse. I did not go in this year because of COVID but I did utilize the mail drop a couple of times. It's conveniently located if you live in the area or if you're just passing through. If I could give zero stars I would. i understand being low staffed and that causing delays- fine. Continuing to say you attempted to deliver packages when no attempt was made is not fine. I work from homes with dogs that bark at anything. they also love to say that our door was blocked- nope. Lazy and dishonest. Post offices like this are why the USPS should be out of business. I've lived in many town and have never seen the things this post office pulls before. They will straight up change delivery specifications so that it favors them. Have a Saturday package? you might get it. Have a Sunday package? you'll see it Wednesday. They have said I denied a package when I did not. you would think it would arrive the ext day but nope, had to wait another three, they have marked things as requiring a signature that do not require a signature. I've never before seen these behaviors from a post office and I feel like messing with US mail is a crime. One time I had a Sunday delivery, it came to my local post office which is a 5 minute walk from my house. They didn't want to deliver it so they sent it to a post office in NH, I got it FIVE! days later. Also they will bend any package in a plastic bag to stuff it in my tiny apartment mailbox. Horrible, lost my prepaid package I dropped off. Nuthing we can do, they said your package doesn't exist in our system. Won't leave anything there again. Then last week, someone manually/fraudulently checked off the requires certification box on the postage label, likely because they didn't feel like delivering on a Saturday. Beware !! read more

This rating is for those who deliver the mail. I've stepped into the post office a few times and received good friendly service, 5 stars for them. I also choose slower times of the day to avoid potential lines and this works for me. Whoever they hire to deliver mail in this town fails at reading names and apartment numbers. I consistently receive mail for completely different apartment numbers and recently had my own mail delivered to a neighbor's address. This post office has always been slow in the customer service department, but the new guy they have running the desk is unbelievable. It's as if he's trying to drive everyone insane with his tortoise-like movements. I have been there 3 times this week (the first week of January 2015) and every time the line has been at least 5 people deep with the longest waiting I have ever experienced. If you're going to be slow at least play some music for me to zone out to instead of having to listen to the slow helper behind the desk explain the entire receipt to each person after they pay. This post office represents the beauty (and sometimes downside) of life in a small town. The workers are all very friendly. They are helpful, pleasant, and willing to chat with every customer. They are not quick. If you are in a hurry, you should go during an off time (although I'm not sure when that is). I visit this post office at least once a week and I usually wait in line for at least 10 minutes. I've gotten used to this and I plan accordingly, but I wish they had a self serve kiosk at this location. Everything I mail for work has to be sent priority or express mail and a self serve kiosk would expedite things a bit. Something to consider. read more
