Waited 20 minutes, went back in and reminded the same clerk and trainer that I'm still waiting. Another 10 minutes went by and still no supervisor. Went back in because it was now closing time only to be told by a different clerk the supervisor is tied up but at least he filled out a form and took my information for the supervisor to call or email. Such unacceptable customer service by the clerk, trainer and supervisor. And my original issue still isn't resolved after numerous complaints online.

The PO box prices have gone up considerably yet they've cut staff. The region is one of the fastest growing in the entire state yet they only have one person behind the counter more often than not. The line's an hour long, more often than not, which is especially hard on elderly and injured people who don't have someone else to do errands for them. At least make an automated process efficient and transparent. Even though the website says you can apply for a PO box at that location in person, you are denied the ability to do so in person. The website will say there are 3 boxes open, but when you go there and ask they'll say there aren't any. Months down the road, the site will still say there are 3 open, and when you try to reserve it some error happens after you've spent your lunch break filling out the form to get to that point, and that was after standing in line to be told you have to do it online. So, you have to go stand in line in to talk to them again. A few months from now, I bet it will still say that there are 3 boxes available....

I…read moresometimes have to stand outside the post office in the humid, hot weather for about an hour to pick up my package because the carrier who was supposed to deliver it was too lazy to drop it off at my front door. The employees at this office are rude, irresponsible, and incompetent. There is no accountability or repercussions for an out-of-line employee. Oh, and if you try calling, good luck because no one answers the phone. Avoid doing business here!

When receiving packages, they will text you with a photo, tracking # and time they received it. They don't mail out anything, but great for receiving your mail and Amazon orders! Good location and parking is never a problem.

I love everything about Aloha Mail in Pahoa HI. We have mailboxes by our home, but not enough…read moreboxes for packages, so we use to have to go stand in line at the Post Office in Pahoa for packages. Now we just go to Aloha Mail and get our mail and packages, and everyone there is always smiling. If we are out of town, they hold our mail for us there - just have to let them know. Aloha Mail is the best option for us and we love the staff too! Highly recommend them.
