The service was horrible. I had arrived 30 minutes before my appointment. 30 minutes they couldve told me what i could do or if i filled out anything. Tracy was the woman who had escorted us to take our passport. This woman was extremely rude and racist. I don't often find the need to review a Post Office with positive remarks, but the Post Office on W. Beech Ave. is one of the best. I conduct online selling and it's important to me that I have a mailing location that I can trust. I have had issues with other USPS locations that either delay mailing by a day or two, or they fail to provide the online tracking information that I need. This location is timely and tracking is never missed. The building is typical 1960's with original touches and amenities. The lobby is long and narrow with the line for customer service extending out into the lobby area. Parking can be a challenge, especially with the poorly situated drive-up mailboxes. The staff is friendly and service is usually pretty quick. read more

I have never wanted to leave zero stars in my life. A banner on the exterior reads "Hero's work here", I hope for the sake of the world this isn't what we are calling hero's now. The xenophobic body language and attitude showed to a man with Middle Eastern heritage was gross, he was getting passports for himself and his family; the clerk was hateful when the man was asking for help. All because the gentleman filled the form out in blue ink. Another clerk was so standoffish towards me and spoke to me with such superiority. I definitely felt discrimination for being a gay man. An elderly woman of Hispanic heritage mixed up the return and delivery address on her form. The clerk raised his voice and had no patience for what was clearly and mix up. However, when an elderly white woman approached the counter; the team was all smiles and full of greetings and salutations. It's disgusting. I've never encountered so many hatful people in a government building on government payroll before. I guess I'll try to schedule a passport elsewhere to go on vacation this June. Hope I make it in time, but it made me sick to see how this "team of hero's" treats my community. read more

After today's visit--just to pick up a Certified piece of mail-- ONE star--i.e. "can't get any worse." Btw the counter clerks used to move things along pretty well. One clerk used to be tasked with occasionally shouting out, "Anyone here just for a pickup?" Not anymore. Second, here it is, Wednesday 4:45 rush hour, and only TWO windows are open. Why? As if that's not comical enough, the two clerks are carrying on *personal chit-chat and guffaws* with their respective two customers--oblivious to the fact that there's a LONG LINE waiting. Where are the manager, postmaster at this exceptionally busy time? Answer: Always MIA. Still wondering why at least the carriers aren't required to be screened for drugs....they badly need it. read more

The staff at this post office is amazing. They are very helpful and the line usually goes really fast. The outside of the post office is another issue. I tried to use the drop off mailboxes in the front of the post office. One is bent like it's been pried open the other one has a box covering it. This problem has been occurring for several months. So you really can't blame the holiday season for it not being fixed. The entire United States Postal Service doesn't have a few extra mailboxes to fix this problem ? Attached are several pictures explaining this. Like I said one is completely closed with a box covering it. The other is pried open to the point where it would be reckless to even put your mail in it. This problem has been this way for several months and it is disappointing. read more

I had to mail some paperwork and had searched for a post office far and wide on yelp. The one down the street closed earlier than most so they pointed me in the direction of the Beech Street location. I raced over and caught up with them just before closing time and was able to get in the door just before 5. While inside, I had to assemble what I was mailing. The clerk was very patient with me as I put everything together. I was able to get everything off and in the mail as needed! Great (patient) clerks offering A+ customer service. read more

I have a community mailbox and my mail carrier on regular basis delivers packages in my neighbors box. This package was marked delivered and was put in another box. They could not locate the package and failed to even inform me days later. I only found out their idiotic mistake by calling days later. It gets the job done - Employees appeared to be stressed as the responsibilities appear to be repetitive. I noticed an interaction between a more seasoned employee to another employee which seemed passive aggressive and hostile. Other than that, the employee that I directly interacted with was helpful and courteous. read more

I ordered two items from Amazon to be delivered by my post office. They marked the package as delivered, but nothing arrived at my home. Either the packages were lost or delivered to wrong home and wrong recipient was not as honest as one would hope. Had to reorder my items, to be delivered by same post office. Not sure who isn't communicating because Amazon says Sunday delivery, usps website says Monday. Not a happy camper....my items are now arriving too late for what I was going to use them. read more

Hands down the best experiences I have had at the US post office. My Fiancé and I just recently moved into our first home a week ago. We soon realized that we did not have a mailbox, and we were waiting on some very important mail. So I went down to my local US post office and spoke to a supervisor named Steven Kiser. I let him know what the situation was and he let me know he would be getting back to me about where we should put our mailbox. I headed back home only to find Steven at my front door letting me know where exactly to place our mailbox.
