I usually have excellent mail delivery services, but my issue is with outgoing mail. I put up the red flag on the box 2 days ago and my letters have still not been picked up as of today, July 7 2022. Someone please tell the mail carriers that the red flag means outgoing mail...this is ridiculous! I also had to put a note inside the box saying "please take outgoing mail' because last time they delivered my mail on top of the outgoing letters...which is ridiculous. read more

This Post Office used to be reliable but not anymore. They are always late with my packages and often deliver to the wrong address. When you call to inquire The Supervisor always seems to be out. They take your number and tell you they will call you back but then they don't. I requested a hold mail for a period of three days which they did and continued my mail on the date indicated but the week after I received no mail at all and when I inquired about it I was told it was because my mail was on hold. I am having at least one problem per week with this Post Office with my mail and packages and I have to call them constantly. It is getting beyond frustrating. read more

Some workers are not too bright (including the supervisor). I tried to ship a package internationally and they could not find the international zip code in their computer. The worker and the supervisor told me I had the wrong zip code and suggested I use a different zip code they found by some google search. I told them the zip code I gave was the correct one, but they refused to use it because they didn't know how to get around the computer system to put in the correct zip code. They refused to consider the possibility that their software might have the wrong information. I left. I went to UPS and Fedex after that. Both of them had no problem finding the zip code. Just a bit pricey. I tried one other Post Office, 1393 Palisades Ave in Teaneck. That one had a smart worker. She had no problem working the computers and had no problem finding the same exact zip codes that the other post office worker and a supervisor could not find!! I think the supervisor should be fired and the lady at 1393 Palisades should be promoted. Don't put dumb people to work up front. Give them some other simple manual labor. read more

Teaneck Postal service has just degraded to abysmal. I had the same postman for a couple of decades. He retired a couple of years ago. Never an issue, always on time, service was great. Now, every couple of weeks I have an issue. It's just the same foolishness. Bundles of letters left on the step rather than in the box. Mail soaked in rain (I could not even open the letters) or blown down the driveway when it was windy, etc. I've spoken to the Postmaster multiple times and he seems to not really care. I've spoken to the supervisor and she was going to speak to the carriers and the next day, same nonsense. Mail left on the steps and not in the box. There seems to be no consequence for the carelessness. Its a felony to take 1st class mail. There should be some consequence it seems to me if you leave mail so it can be damaged, taken or blow away. The people in charge do not seem to care. We haven't even touched on my mail delivered to the neighbors or me getting their mail. This used to be great service but now service is so poor, they are encouraging their customers to go paperless so they don't have to worry about important and 1st class mail or the USPS anymore. read more

Worst experience at this post office. Will never recommend USPS for any priority mails. I couriered envelope to Teaneck, NJ from South Carolina. It reached Teaneck, NJ without any issues in 2 days. Problem started when it reached this office. These people are not able to deliver the envelope to my office which is just 2 miles from their location and is a well known big IT office. On Thursday, online tracking status got updated as "We attempted to deliver your package at 12:39 pm on February 27, 2020 in TEANECK, NJ 07666 but could not access the delivery location. We will redeliver on the next business day." I called my office shortly and they stated that they had received the packages from FedEx, UPS same day without any issues and they advised there might be some technical glitch and we will wait for envelope to be delivered the next day as USPS stated. Now comes the horrible part, next day entire day passed and there was no update. When I called the Teaneck USPS post office at the number 201-836-7214, a lady received the call. After I explained the case, she told that they can't deliver the envelope to office and someone from your office should come and pick up. I mentioned that it is written online that re-delivery will be attempted today to which she mentioned that no, we can't deliver, your office people should come and pick up. When I mentioned that my office people are unable to come and pick up from office and they should deliver the envelope. They will be on lookout for USPS delivery person if she confirms so. To this she mentioned No, we can't deliver the package to office. Your people should come and pick up. She was talking very rudely during the entire conversation and was not listening and kept on saying- We can't deliver. Even when I requested her that it is very important for me and deliver the envelope at least on Monday, she told me that we can't deliver. Later I came to know from my office that there were other USPS envelopes/packages delivered into the office same day but mine was not received. When I stated this to the USPS lady, she told me that she doesn't know about how other USPS packages got delivered. When I asked that she can check in the system about the envelopes being delivered to my office, she disconnected the call. Very pathetic experience for me. After the call, I right away went to FedEx and sent the envelope to my office again and it will reach there by Tuesday. I don't have any trust that this USPS office will deliver my envelope. I had always used FedEx for mails , this was the first time I tried USPS and I will never use it again. When I am writing this post , tracking status is still same. Not sure what they mean by next delivery day and why their employees don't align to the tracking status. #USPS Authority- Please improve your employees in this location else you will keep on loosing customers day by day. They behave as if it is not their responsibility to deliver but recipient's responsibility to come and pick up. read more

I'm giving 5 star due to the excellent customer service I received today from David! I called yesterday 11/9/21 and spoke to Abassi about my change of address issues. my mail has disappeared so naturally I'm upset and frustrated about it. Abassi didn't care and refused to even look to see if I had mail there. when i called today 11/10/21 and spoke to David, he was very understanding and he placed me on hold while he looked for my mail. although he didn't find anything he took down my number and told me he will speak to my old mail carrier and call me back! this right here is excellent customer service, David cares about his job and providing a pleasant experience with his customers. He went above and beyond where as Abassi told me to wait another MONTH TO SEE IF MY MAIL COMES! If you have any issues go see David, you wont be disappointed. Okay so after not receiving calls from David nor abassi or Tanisha I've reported everyone to the district office! This post office is a complete joke and it's filled with incompetent people! My mail is still missing and no one does the job they were hired to do! Why are you lazy people employed? You guys have s government job and you're all morons! read more

I'd have to say one of the worst Postal locations in the area, with the exception of Lisha (Chinese woman) who goes above and beyond for the customers. Everyone else at this place is rude, inattentive and unproffesional. This location definitely needs major work done, and better supervisors! read more

I ordered an item from Amazon and I never received it. I tracked it and it says it was delivered. One of two things must have happened. One may be that Amazon made a mistake on the address and it went astray, or what I think most likely happened, the mail carrier put it in the wrong box and whoever received it didn't bother bringing it to me. Either way I'm out of luck. I tried to get in touch with this post office but after a frustrating effort to speak to a live agent you're left on hold for more than an hour. Our neighborhood (Margaret Street area) has been having serious delivery issues. A new postal carrier has been delivering important mail to the wrong houses. We get our next door neighbor's mail, and the neighbor on the other side gets ours. The carrier is not sorting the mail nor delivering it in a careful way. Yesterday was the worst! I wanted to ship an international parcel and was considering USPS or UPS. The postal worker here was rude, pushy and unhelpful. Every time I asked a question, he told me to "take it easy!" But meanwhile he barked commands at me. I ultimately didn't ship there but asked about holiday stamps- I wanted to send nondenominational ones. He shoved some very Christmas-y ones at me (they were called Christmas stamps on the cover) but when I pointed this out, he barked, "that's all there is!" Later I went to another PO and they offered several other nondenominational ones. There wasn't even a long line so he had no need to rush me. The interior shot posted here from over 2 years ago makes me feel this post office has seriously declined. Now there are almost no signs and the place looks messy and like no one takes any pride in working there. I will definitely avoid in future and go elsewhere- Englewood Cliffs, Cresskill and Closter are great! read more
