What a great Post office. I am in there four days a week with eBay shipments for henrysfriendlystore of Sequim, WA. The staff are the most professional of any business I deal with. Their knowledge is amazing and have been a great help to me. Not only that but their attitude makes being there enjoyable for customers and they seem to love helping people. I wish every business would study the Sequim Post Office to learn how to give great customer service and with a smile. For four years our postal carrier has randomly refused to deliver packages. Several excuses, some even not factual. After we set up a delivery box away from the house, she started using poop as an excuse. So today I went out to the box and found a pine cone,no poop. She didn't even come down the driveway as I have been home for two days. Now the Post Office will not answer my call to report the Pine Cone Caper. This is the only bad part about living in Sequim. Four years, multiple attempt to work things out ..and she just makes things up. Sad she is so miserable. read more

This is a very busy rural post office. The lady at the front desk was wonderful helping me find an Amazon box that I didn't have a slip for, which was supposed to be delivered to my house. She went over and above to be helpful. It was really appreciated. read more

Stopped by to drop off some postcards. Didn't go inside. Drop box easily accessed with drive-up service.

I've been to this location a couple times now and I'm glad they have convenient parking. I knocked them down a star for the most recent visit because they don't have a large enough receptacle that catches the self-postaged packages from the package drop. If you go there when the packages have stacked up down there you have to physically push them/knock them down before you can put your packages through. read more

Per a text from USPS to inform me 5 packages were delivered to my front door/porch. I got out to the porch fast enough to say hi to the post man as he was walking to his mail truck. When I went to pick up my packages there were only 3. He did not put out 5, because I was on my porch while he was still there. I have had continuous problems with this Rural Delivery Service. They deliver us someone else mail or they drive right by our mail box without stopping to pick up our mail even though our box flag is out, this just happened again both Saturday and the following Monday. I noticed that all the parking spaces are big and luxurious. You kind of feel like you've parked in a handicapped spot but, nope.....it's just like that. The post office is clean and the staff are really helpful, or at least they were to me. I wanted a small explanation of what exactly does it mean to be a "forever" stamp and they entertained my silly question. I wanted to know if I kept my stamps for like 30 years, I wouldn't have any trouble still using the stamp. They said that we probably won't even use stamps by then but I was welcome to keep them for that long. Laugh out loud moment for me. It's a decent sized office for quite a large town. Horrible...lazy people that are delivering. Plus they cut corners and lie. One pays for delivery confirmation and it was left in an open mail box. That is why I pay for delivery confirmation....to make sure I GET IT DELIVERED. There are thieves out there. Then the postal person states on the tracking....Delivered to individual....I want my $3.45 returned. Shame on you! Isn't that stealing????? You know what? I saw you drive by...I was going to meet you at your vehicle....you wouldn't have even had to get out of your vehicle...I was going to do you a favor. Horrible service. I never receive any of my mail and it has been se t back to sender because of "change of address" but fed ex seems to find my apartment number! I've lived in big cities and got better mail carriers and service there than in this small town. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. They refuse to deliver mail to lots of people in the Sequim area. It snowed here recently and they could not deliver packages, I went in to pick a package up and the line was over an hour long. They refused to open up the main office for people to get their packages and made them all go to a separate window even though there was NO line at the main window. They could care LESS about customer service. They often put the wrong mail in our PO Box. If you want good service go get a PO Box at UPS. read more

Hello! This is not necessarily a review but a acknowledgement that folks are starting to have a "porch box" like I do to help eliminate the chances of their packages being stolen. Please, if you see a sign asking that the packages be put into the porch box and then LOCK the combination lock before you leave, it would be greatly appreciated. I had a package delivered the other day and I don't think the nice mail person read either sign that was posted leaving my package on top of the box. Thank you so much! read more

I am writing this after the winter storm debacle. Not only did the post office decide not to deliver packages and wait till the snow melted many days later to give a "sorry you were out" notice advising to pick up your package at the post office or sign the slip and it would be sent out to the address again. After 2 weeks of lines that took hours to go through, I was able to get a smaller line, only waiting an hour. I noticed many people leaving without their packages because they couldn't locate them and talked to one lady that had been there 6 times and had been told the package was being delivered at her home that day, which it had not been. Another lady was back after waiting two hours the day before and was being told the package was being delivered that day, which it was not. I was told that my package was being delivered. When I told her I had not signed the form to ask for a return delivery to my residence, per the post office policy she seemed confused. They decided to resend out packages after keeping them there for 11 days? Why they wouldn't post a sign letting people know that their mail would be redelivered, albeit 11 days later in my case, is anyone's guess. I guess they have no problem having people stand in line. They had 3 people working in the front. Two to do the standard mail procedures and one for mail pickup. People waiting for pickups may wait for hours while the "mail" customers had no wait time at all while I was there. The whole process was sloppy and void of any common sense. I really wondered why with all the employees in the back, they couldn't pull one to help find packages. The lady that was trying to help me said they had 4000 packages in the back. This was 13 days after the snow storm. I get that they had a problem for a couple of days, and probably longer in the mountains, but there is just no excuse for what happened. read more

This is absolutely hands down the worst post office I have ever ever dealt with and I have lived in every corner of the country. They will not deliver on time. Ever. They do not follow procedure or fill out forms or give notice correctly. They are inconsiderate and incapable. If you have to go inside you will stand in line for a long time and be greeted by someone who struggles with any sense of urgency or purpose. I believe they hired who they did out of guilt or obligation because it absolutely shows that the workers do not care if their job is performed correctly. They will check ID one day for a package then not the next. Some days they check the last name other days just the address. Which is it that matters?! No wonder package theft is on the rise. Postal workers are on the low. If you call the actual location no one ever answers. Even after going in and asking why you are apologized to and asked to leave. I now have to have family packages mailed through fed ex because the word FRAGILE means CHALLENGE ACCEPTED to these people. They absolutely do not care about any thing. Just have your things mailed to the Port Angeles PO if you can. read more
