The ladies at the PO in Sequim, though, while not the quickest, are by far the most friendly and competent postal workers I have come across in a long time. I was actually able to call and speak to an employee. Yes, ON THE PHONE. I did not wait 4 hours on hold (remember when businesses used to actually answer the phone?!). They were quick and amazing in advising me on a delivery issue I was having (long story short, someone was running a fake tracking number scam). The ladies I spoke with were so helpful, and so amazing that I wanted to make sure and leave them a good review. As someone with a home here, I have not had an issue with the postal delivery here AT ALL, which is friggin' amazing. Thank you, Sequim postal employees!

I have no gripe with the folks at the counter, they do their best working for a completely broken system. Lost packages, told mail was not being held when in fact it was/ for months! I will go out of my way NOT to use them for paying bills because they cannot deliver by due dates. Just another example of a government run organization. With two toddlers in tow and a package that desperately needed mailing that day, I was frustrated to find that I ended up there the one hour they were closed. However, the employee on duty let us in anyway and mailed my package and even gave my kids bubbles as parting gifts! We spent an hour in the parking lot blowing bubbles in the wind. It's got like an old 1950/60's décor feel. It's a beautiful large structure that basically takes up most of the corner block. It kind of reminds me of a New York style police station, which might be a bad or good comparison however you may look at it. There are quite a few steps to get inside and I don't remember a wheel chair ramp being available. Don't quote me on this because it's a post office so there is probably handicapped accessibility on the other side of the building. A wonderfully built building. The people inside are just a nice. Probably the nicest I've seen in a post office but I don't hate on post offices. They provide such a service especially since so many people don't really use paper mail anymore if they don't have to due to technology. Oh! There is parking galore as well.

His car was paid off so they ended up totaling it and he's now navigating the process of paperwork. He was unsure how to fill out his paperwork, and I guess brought the papers into the notary blank. She very kindly helped him through the process of filling out the paperwork, getting it notarized and getting it mailed off. I appreciate her kindness immensely and wanted to make sure it was acknowledged. My dads words: "Everything went well... The person was very nice and experienced... Explained everything and helped me fill out papers... The lady helping me was the Notary and knew all about what I had to do... She even knew how the mailing label was supposed to work... I was happy with the service..." So if anyone is looking for a notary on island this sounds like the lady you want to have helping you!
