AVOID GOING HERE IF YOU CAN. First of all, there is no parking lot. You have to try your luck at finding street parking and let me tell you there isn't much street parking. That should tell you how welcome the public is at this facility. The few times I've had to visit this location I've been the ONLY customer in there and I've never had a pleasant experience. Today was no different. I asked if they had certain stamps and the woman behind the counter acted as if I had just asked her the dumbest question on the planet. How dare I assume the post office would have stamps, that the post office produces....to actually sell to me??? Then I handed her the prepaid/preposted box I was there to drop off and she had the audacity to ask me what was inside the box. What in the actual heck is that about? My mailman doesn't ask me what's inside a box when I schedule a pick up from my house and the drop off area at the Sunflower post office isn't even manned so they aren't asking anyone what's in the boxes they're dropping off. I truly don't understand why the woman who works at this post office is so miserable and petulant. She should work in back and not be up front because customer service is NOT in her skillset. read more

I went in & spoke to Esther (I believe that was her name). She was caring, took the time to hear me out. I left my name and number with her just Incase they located that piece of mail. Honestly this is just a funny experience I had on 5/6/2021 around 5pm with the white female postal lady driver. Didn't receive my package today because of my neighbor who owns 7 cars decided to park one of the car by the mailbox. This blocked any incoming mail to be dropped off. My neighbor is retarded, I agree. However, we locked eyes mail lady! I saw you saw me outside waiting! But you drove past me as if I had anything to do with the beat up white Beamer that's imposing the mail box. So as you drove away with my mail, I'm just wondering if you hate me or something because I looked at you weird. But 5 mins laters you actually turned around and were on the opposite side of the street! Cool man, she remembered! So when she drove closer to me I began walking slowly towards her hoping to help her out by grabbing my mail because of my retarded neighbor. Nope! She decided to hit the Vtec in front of me! She sped away like a demon hitting 15MPH tops while locking eyes with my dumbass. Fuck me right? Lol. Anyways, I don't know why she treated me like this, maybe it's work policy that she can't hand mail off to me or shes just having a bad day, who knows I'm not stressin. I'm pretty sure I had already written a review for this location, but maybe they decided to start over cuz of all the bad reviews...lol! I have lived by only two other post offices in my life, and have visited quite a few others, but this one is the worst one. Horrible hours, unfriendly staff, and all street residential parking, with never any available. These guys are basically part-timers... closed on the weekends, and only open 9am-4pm during the week. It's impossible to come to this location if you work a Mon-Fri job. I've only visited a handful of times in the 11 years I've lived here, and every time it's like "What really?" Whether the line is out the door because they only ever have 2 people working, or the rep tells me my package is unacceptable, or the lady handing me my mail, weeded out all my junk mail that I've gotten for the past 2 weeks, due to my communities mail being kept there after damage to our community mailbox. They lost a very important package inside their own facility! I had to once again pay $500 dollars. To get that package delivered! This was a year ago. I let it go because mistakes happen! So today I called & told them I'm tracking a package. The person I spoke to tells me it's in route for delivery. I get home no f*cking package! I look up the tracking number! guess where the package is at? at Post Office. The mail man returned it back to the facility status on the item "Delivery Exception, Animal Interference " yet he or she was able deliver a bunch of worthless mail to my mail box. I've seen multiple reviews on this place, often bad experiences however I had a parcel delivered to a box at that office location. However I rarely will make a review unless I'm extremely satisfied which is rare these days with customer service. I was directed towards a large white male I forget his name he was the manager or something along those lines. I gave him all the info and informed me that it's likely a mistake on their behalf scanning the order too early he assured me it will most likely be by my house by the time I get home but assured me he will contact the driver on the route as well as doing an investigation if the item does go missing on top of a refund with the item insurance never seemed annoyed or irritated like alot of other offices I've been too even followed up on the call which was something I didn't expect. Had someone follow-up with me once I created a complaint using the LINK in my original post. She apologized on behalf of USPS and stated, "[they] could provide better service and a better experience." Me? I think, "Great! SOUNDS GREAT!". NOPE. I asked her: "What will be some measures you will take to ensure a better experience for USPS customers? How about to ensure they don't receive the same poor customer service and experience as I received?" CRICKETS... Yup, after a few seconds, she breaks the silence and says something along the lines of "we will follow-up with your assigned office to see what happened"... 1 Star - For at the very least: reaching out after I filed a complaint! The incompetence of this post office is very concerning. I realize I am echoing the previous reviews I'm reading. One employee named Art tried to be helpful, but the unprofessional attitude of the woman at the front was very surprising. How does anyone hold down a job with such a lack of social decency? I am missing mail from the past three weeks and they are not able to locate any of it. I have contacted them once in person and twice by phone. There is a post office two blocks from me, but my zip code it attached this office, which is a 15 minute drive away. Im not going to bash the employees who didnt follow appropriate steps of the job because it would be too long to type. I was very disappointed with the person who was delivering my package on sunday. No shortcuts should be allowed to make their quota. The FOUR STARS that im giving is directed to MIKE. He got back to me in a very professional matter. He fixed the problem in a snap. He was in charge while the manager was on vaca from what I believe. All the props to MIKE for taking the situation in his hands and resolving the issue for his customers. Terrible service. Extremely rude and incompetent. I already paid for a PO box but it's so my fault for not reading reviews and just trusting people first . They went out of there way for me not to get a PO box there but made it seem like they were just bothered by me getting one. I even had to go get extra paperwork to get it. Then when I got it there's no key ... it's a combination lock that "doesn't always work" that I have to keep if it doesn't work that's what they said .... I left with a serious bad taste and they people working here are super lazy lazy lazy and don't want to work it's super clear . I lost money and canceled hours later bought a PO Box on first street and night and day customer service super nice friendly accommodating paid extra money came same day and guess what ..... GOT A KEY!!! To the PO Box I just purchased . The people at this location clearly want to get paid to not do anything and just sit there and collect a check until they retire . this is why government doesn't want to support US Postal Service. the customer service here is non existent. I had to deal with the same idiot guy twice when I went in there. I think he is very unkind and he needs training on his customer service. He is a large set man so you will know when you go in not to deal with him or just walk out because HE IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS! I went in two days ago about a package that was never delivered. I'm a pretty busy person and taking the time to go and deal with this while at work is a huge hassle. I'd post minus-zero stars if it were available. I requested a 2 week vacation hold on my mail, when I came home, they couldn't find my mail. I was beyond polite and patient. From the moment I walked in, both postal workers were short, rude and dismissive no matter how polite and patient I was. I asked to speak to someone higher in position. The person came out, tried calling the postal carrier to see if he 'had my mail or knew where it was'...he ended up laughing at the fact my mail was missing. I had checks and sensitive documents and he was laughing. I couldn't believe it. After an hour, it was located. Other occasions were watching the postal carrier in my condo complex set down his entire mailbag on the walkway and walk away from it, out of his sight, for at least 5 min.! He constantly delivers the wrong mail to myself and neighbors. I have no idea if the person receiving MY mail is delivering it back to me. My latest piece of mail was an address in another city. I don't understand how this office continues to operate. I avoid it at all costs. read more

Came in today with my mom and I asked this big man working on the register if he had anything I can open the envelope with since I had sealed it by accident. He said "no" in a rude tone. From there I felt a RACIST vibe. As I was filing out some paperwork on the counter a lady comes in and asks if he speaks Spanish and he says "no", she went to go buy stamps. The cash register guy told her he has no change and that she would have to come back but in a rude tone. Well first of all it's not the ladies fault if you don't have change. When I came to pay for express shipping my mom had a scarf to cover her face as a mask. The guy looked at her and told me that she can't be in the office. So why didn't he say that in the beginning? Why is he telling her 15 minutes later? He said that either I or she stays. I was like are you serious?? So I told my mom that I will finish paying the fee and I'll be right outside since I understand English and she doesn't. I was so close on telling him to FIX HIS ATTITUDE because he was just so RUDE. Horrible place in a terrible area. The big guy was sketching out on me for no reason and said I had been there recently when I never stepped foot in there in my life. He said, wanna bet? And he asked for my ID back and said "im doing my job" I should have never given it back to him. He came back with his manager and they were giving me grief about my packages address not matching my home address (that I've only been at for one month) these guys were complete weirdos and took forever to get my package, made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I just wanted to get out of there. If I could give them zero stars I would. Turned into parking lot as there was not clear signage that I wasn't supposed to park there- when I tried to exit, a UPS truck came in and was blocking my exit - ok no big deal turn around and go out the other way - when a postal truck with an old lady with dyed blonde hair turns into my path - I wave my arms back and forth letter her know I'm not supposed to be in there and trying to exit but this is the only way out now. She stops her truck and says I'm not supposed to be there and since I won't move she turns her postal truck off and exits her vehicle to go do some work. So now I'm stuck with no exit. She had a completely unprofessional attitude and was vindictive. I went into the loading bay to see if someone could help me but not one was avail. I walked back out and had to wait until she was done working at which point I said I wanted to report her as my tax dollars go for this and she refused to give me her name and told me my tax dollars don't pay for this. She then drove off the other direction at which point I snapped a shot of her vehicle. Meanwhile there has been missing mail before and when I followed up with my apartment building they told me it's well known that our post office is run by psycho and vindictive people and so many get a local PO box! I'm wondering if this is the station as I had come here to pick up a certified letter. The sunflower station is much closer to me but everyone there is nice and normal. This must be the one! read more
