This place is GARBAGE! My package never came and I got no feedback whatsoever. I called them, looked through the app to find out what happened through tracking information or someway or another. Gave me no explanation or reason as to why. So I show up to the actual post office to see what's wrong personally. Not even they themselves know what went wrong. They know it was in their facility out for delivery and I guess it just vanished?!? This on top of them constantly sending other peoples mail to my home address that isn't mine. BASICALLY THEY DONE GIVE A CRAP Lately it seems the mailman can simply throw our mail into the garbage can and get away with it. Our Mailman is so defiant at he maliciously marked an amazon package as undeliverable for no reason. That was the day I informed him that I was sent a sensitive letter that requires my signature. He sites COVID 19 restrictions as he spits and speaks without a mask on. He dared me to complain knowing I will NEVER reach anyone. Tried to reach management about my ongoing issues with the postal delivery. However this government entity has more road blocks to a human being than the social security administration. There was a time when the mailman was a trusted friend. That is not the case in 2021. They will charge you for expedited secure delivery but in the fine writing indicate that deliveries aren't guaranteed even with insurance. The postman is now a lazy louse who doesn't care about delivery of packages. Seriously. read more

How this post office has eluded me for so long, I cannot say. It's not exactly right by me, but it's probably the #3 in proximity to where I often find myself driving, and today it was the best option, as my #1 had different hours and was closed by 1pm. This was still open, and so we made our way in to take care of some business. Honestly, it was the very nice postal worker behind the counter that made the day for us. She was very kind in explaining options, and even provided a mailing label for us on the one non-Priority shipment we ended up with (Priority labels are free, but she had some other blank ones that she was good enough to share). All in all, it really does go to show that even someplace as everyday as a post office can be made that much better through positive customer service. Other than that, it's a pretty small little post office with just two cashiers open today, and the standard assortment of mailing supplies for sale or for free, depending on the service. I also got a good laugh at the "Now Hiring" sign out front, which is looking pretty weathered and faded. I checked old photos, and that same sign is there in 2016. I mean, "Now" I think just means "Always" and I just thought it was a funny sign in that context. read more

This is my closest USPS and it's usually not super busy. I mostly use the 2 self-serve kiosk stations to mail out letters and packages. These are located in the lobby (with the PO Boxes) which is also open on the weekends. So best time to go is actually on Sundays when the main office is closed and you can still use the kiosks. There are mailboxes for quick drop off but they are located to the South of the building. The parking lot is located to the West of the building. You also have to be driving Northbound on State St. to turn into this USPS, so if you are traveling Southbound, you will have to make a u-turn. read more

This is the worst post office I've ever dealt with. They don't answer the phone, first of all. They deliver my packages to the wrong address and they deliver someone else's packages to me. They lose my mail, and do nothing to find it. I have absolutely no trust with this post office. Customers have expressed their frustrations on reviews and feedback for a long time now and they don't do anything to try to be better. They need better management or training or something because the amount of times they've screwed up is actually scary and should be a big red flag. If you have an alternative Post Office choice, use it. The customer service here is deplorable. Recently I was signing up on line for the USPS Informed Delivery program and, because there is apparently another "John May" living in California and/or Utah having a grand ol' time defrauding folks, I was not able to "successfully" answer questions about "my" most recent Cali address (p.s., I've never lived in the Golden State), I was referred to a list of post offices "participating in In-Person Identity Verification." So, since I was in the area, and THIS post office IS ON THE LIST, I stopped here with driver's license, passport and recent bills in hand to prove that I am who I am (wow, that sounds a little Popeye-esque!). But alas, it wasn't meant to be. I presented the postal worker with my Informed Delivery bar code and proof of my address and his response was, "I don't know anything about this, so you need to go to your own post office." Classic! I tried to plead my case by showing him the list of post offices participating in the program (see photo), which includes HIS place of employment, but he was having none of it. Again, he told me I should try my local P.O. because I don't have a post office box at this location--news flash, Postal Guy: I don't have a P.O. box at my local post office branch either. So, because he does not know how to do his job, I have to drive to another facility on the list until I find a competent federal employment? Perfectly convenient! As Post offices go, I can't complain. I get my mail and when I go in, I haven't had any issues. Sometimes the lines can get long, but that's my fault for going at peak times when I don't necessarily have to. The parking lot is a good size and it isn't terribly far from my house. The people here are helpful when I've had questions about what boxes and/or shipping to choose. I also can never rave enough about being able to use my debit card at the freaking Post Office! read more

Going forward I will avoid this post office as an option. After waiting in the longest line (I mean the longest line) it was my turn. Upon stepping up to the clerk, the elderly guy behind the counter greeted me with a smirk and a condescending tone. He was belatedly rude for no reason at all and said comments like "this is over your head" and "I am not supposed to help you".... he even turned me away. Yes he allowed me to just leave. All I wanted to do was send off a package to amazon that was simply all ready to go. All he had to do was take the package. The label was ready and on the sealed box. Not sure why I was treated the way I was after spending at least an hour in line and then turned away. Anyway... between the long lines and the arrogant and chauvinist man ... I've only had positive experiences with the Murray post office. All the staff I've interacted with have been friendly and helpful.

It's a post office... It gets the job done. Not as busy as some I've been to. I like that the blue drop off mailboxes are on the street instead of having to go in the parking lot. If you have to mail something bring it on in I guess. read more

worst service ever!!! All my packages are damaged and letters are either ripped and crinkled. I have tried reaching them and not once have they answered their phone. They do not respond to emails, and when going in person they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Trying to remedy this issue is like pulling teeth.... With in my Office we ship at least five to six packages a day. But at this point we will be using other services. In specific the Murray location!!! are the WORST !!!!! I get my neighbors mail and they get mine. Recently called Jennifer who claimed to be a supervisor. Told her that I was missing two bills, for which I acquired late feels. She stated that she could not do anything with the late fees but however she would look into it. In addition, I complained that for the last two weeks I have not received my ads. She stated that she has not been getting them. However, today, I saw the mail man deliver it to my neighbor and sure enough I did not get mine. I attempted to call. The phone just rang and rang for about 5 minutes and no one answered. I used to live in Midvale and never had this issue before. Since I moved to Murray I have had numerous problems with the local post office. You complain and complain and nothing is ever done. read more

Not at all happy with this post office. I just tried to call them at 5:50 pm to ask why my mail wasn't delivered. I knew that I had mail because it was being held for the past week. I got an email from USPS saying it would be delivered today. It was not. I watched the postal truck drive by. I called 3 times and the recording came on and told me to wait for the next available agent. The phone rang over 30 times on each call but no one ever picked up. Very unprofessional! read more

Ladies up front are rude. We've recently moved & have had to change our address. Long before we moved, my other had order some vinyls & we're hoping they'd make it to our new place. A couple have but many have been sent back to the post office, leaving us with a "sorry we've missed you" ticket. Which is weird because if they "missed" us, why are they leaving these "sorry we've missed you" tickets at our mailbox & not our door. But the ones that have made it to us from them have been put in the apartment complexes AmazonHub. When we went to pick up "supposedly" two vinyls from the post office with our tickets, we ran this by them & they just ignored our issues & said the post men don't drop packages off. But they do. We've seen them here & gotten our packages from them, & he apparently does because he got our packages. After trying to communicate, she took our name & went to the back to go find our packages just to come back & tell us she can't find them. She called the mailmen & he said he put them on the shelf. With them annoyed & offended, they told us when all the trucks come back we'll give you a call. They never did. We've paid about 30-40 bucks to get the vinyls we've supposedly missed at drop off just for what? The mailman to be lazy & not stop by the amazonhub to drop mail off like he's supposed to. If he's not supposed to drop off packages then why is he picking them up to drop off in the first place. read more

This has to be the slowest post office in the Salt Lake Valley! Granted I usually go at lunch, which is a busy time, but shouldn't they be better staffed for the lunch rush? I waited 15 minutes today and the line did not move, so I had to leave. Only 2 people were working and they were definitely not concerned that the line was literally out the door. There needs to be a zero option, a one is so overrated. I go to any other post office than this one, customer service no matter the time of time is horrible, And they are so quick to circle the bottom of the receipt asking for me to take their survey, assuming that I would want to give a decent review. Unfortunately, I live in Murray, so have to deal with them at some point. Last night I got home from work, a delivery in a box was sitting on top of my mailbox, in the rain. It was something that I ordered for Christmas from Coca-Cola, so, you guessed it, it was it a bright red box. I have a driveway that he/she could have easily driven down, or walked down like most of the carriers do every day. BUT, this is the third time this month. I'm done. Gail Jensen is awful. Completely unhelpful, would not let myself or my husband finish a sentence, and started yelling at me over the phone. When I asked to speak with a manager she said there was no one available. She also claimed to be a supervisor. She is one of the rudest most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. read more
