REGARDING PASSPORT WALK-INS [1 for experience during: JANUARY 2026] If you arrive here for walk-in's between 12:00PM-1:00PM, they'll go ahead and tell you they only accept the first four applicants rather than working the entire hour listed on the USPS website. While this time allotment makes sense since each passport should take 15 minutes to process if you have all the required documents, but if they end up finishing four applicants by 12:22PM(say, a family came in and they all had their information ready), with 38 minutes to spare until 1:00PM, you WILL get told to read the sign on the door and get told to go home. The reasoning stated is because: - Processing the passports uses up their Lunch Break, they're doing this out of generosity since they do not have to. - There are appointments all throughout the day, up to a full month out. I would have appreciated if the website mentioned that they only accepted FOUR applicants and NONE MORE between12:00PM to 1PM rather than choosing to not work the full hour they had allotted on the website. *If you still want to do passports here, be sure to arrive an hour or so early, I stress that they only accept FOUR people, and many others will arrive early as well. You may have a easier time seeki REGARDING PACKAGES AND MAIL [3 for unpredictability of busy hours] If you're going here for sending packages or letters though you'll probably get it sent within a 5-15 minute wait if it isn't busy. If i could add zero star I would . This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a post office. I've never felt more disrespected, not just by one, but by multiple staff members at this location. The man named Will was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional , not only toward me, but to other customers as well. He clearly doesn't know how to speak to people with basic decency. The Indian woman working there was just as unpleasant. impatient and unhelpful, with no regard for the people she's supposed to be serving. To make matters worse, just the other day I walked in and saw both of them literally arguing on the floor, going at it right in front of customers. Completely unprofessional, embarrassing, and uncomfortable for everyone in the building. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from staff representing the U.S. Postal Service. This post office wins the award for Worst customer service!! Zero stars. Arrived before closing time to pick up a package and they refused to answer the door for pickup. The LAZY ATTENDANT sitting at the counter said were closed now. You cant be closed if you're still sitting there. A little effort goes a long way. If you close at 5pm then close at 5pm!!! Not before. Not the first time experiencing poor service. Clearly all the horrible reviews dont make a difference as nothing has changed to improve. Absolutely the RUDEST and unhelpful people I've ever met!!! Poor attitude, condescending, and lack of basic courtesy. They acted completely rude when I simply asked for a receipt for the package I paid to mail. Be sure to tape up your package before getting to the post office. You'll be required to purchase an entire roll of tape for 3.99 if any labels need to be attached. Awful place!!! read more

this specific location has some of the laziest workers I've ever encountered. They refuse to help you or guide you in the right direction if you need help with something. My last experience with needing to file a claim was horrible to say the least. First they damage my package then continue to ship it without the contents. That makes me look like a bad seller and isn't great for the workers either but I guess they don't care. I tried to file a claim online before coming in but online it said the service wasn't available. I go in to ask to file one and the guy refuses to help me and just says it's only available online. I told him I tried to do that already and he keeps just repeating himself. So what am I supposed to do if it's unavailable online? It's not until I show him the screenshot on my phone of it being unavailable that he finally gives me a card with a number to call. I guess he needed proof I don't know. The number is no help, it's all AI and you can't get to a person to speak with. The USPS has to be some of the worst customer service and support of any business. read more

The guy who delivers in Rowlett's area has always been saying that he delivers and he didn't. It's already happened to me three times, I'm tired of this. The first time it says that it was delivered at the front door, but there was nothing there. I went to the USPS office the next day and the guy who delivers it was there and told me in the face that he delivered it at my front door, so when I was leaving the office to go home, the same guy who told me that he left it at my front door was leaving my package in the mailbox. The second time the same. The package was supposedly delivered, but it was not two more days waiting for the package. I never got it. I went to the USPS office and my package was in the office. The third time same but the difference is that I still don't got my package. I went to USPS office and like always they just ask for my number and they will call me back and they never do. Indian man that works at the front might be the saddest human being I have ever met, looks around 55-60 yrs old. Unfortunately I did not catch his name, I couldn't think straight with how rude this gentleman was. Too bad government employees never get fired. They don't need to worry about customer service or perhaps just being a kind human being. Drop off a 300$ package in the dropbox for the first time using Rowlett location because i moved. Package got Lost it didnt move anywhere. Cant fight for it as it showed never got dropped off. Few days later 2nd attempt took 5 more packages to the front to get scan acceptance with receipt , she rushed me to the window... went to the window to get scan he rushed me off say "why dont you drop it off at the drop box, its the same thing" and i politely replied I lost a package doing that before.. he said "you sure u dropped it off?" Lol im pretty sure sir. He added " i cant get you a receipt anyway" rudely.... yet all these at Garland location on beltline could have been done with a smile instead. 1.) They lied that they delivered my package in the parcel locker. I don't think they're aware that the parcel locker notifies residents when a package is delivered and when it was delivered. I have Evidence that the mail wasn't delivered. From all the bad reviews, it seems like this is their norm. This location needs to be shut down, we use the Rockwall location. Post Master was Extremely RUDE when he called me after myself and daughter complained about mail route carrier not picking up my mail or delivering my mail. He said there was vehicles parked in front of my mail box and the nearest vehicle is 10 FT away. Worst service I have ever experienced. The post master needs to be Replaced if they cannot conduct their selves appropriate, and manage the carriers correctly. Cashiers always act as though you're bothering them. Worst post office in Texas. Very rude when they pick up, IF they pick up. Neighbors and myself have complained numerous times of wrong delivery. They flat out are horrible and rude. I spent over an hour on phone and the lady that answered blew me off about a non delivery, and said I could wait on hold for an hour or wait for a call back. I have never yelled or lost my temper with a postal worker I now transcript all calls. After 11 years of horrible customer service, being just plain hung up on because it was friday and they wanted to go home. Called 4 times during office hours in the past week about a package that was never delivered... of course no answer.

Can I leave a 0? I found a notice saying they "missed me" (No I didn't, I was home the entire day...), I followed the link to schedule a re-delivery on Nov 3rd. A few business days later and it remains in that status, meanwhile nobody answers any calls. Almost impossible to even find out if your package is even at this facility or not and when I finally talked to someone they said that yesterday (Nov. 15) they started to return packages to sender? How did they dodge my calls, never changed status from "re-delivery scheduled" for 10 days and the just return to sender. Completely mismanaged my package, and extremely poor customer service. Called in uber eats, Saturday night...I get it.... Uber eats kept extending the the time.... Reached out to the driver who said he's been waiting for 25 minutes for the restaurant to give him the order...so I decided to call the restaurant ... call.....the lady who answered the phone said I was breaking in and out.... I wasn't moving around... anyway she hung up.... I called back.... She said they no longer sold potstickers so they were deciding what to do.... I of course asked why they didn't call anyone to let me know and that I wanted to speak to a manager... I mean How about let the customer know.... If I could give the stars just for employee interaction......rather than the business itself..I would. I live in Frisco, but was in this part of town. You wouldn't believe how amazing my experience was at this post office because of Mike. I usually HATE the post office...and I say that being nice. Hate is too light a word. Employees are usually gruff, abrupt and all around rude. Unfortunately, this tends to happen at most post offices, but not this time. Not this day. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and all around professional. And I may faint....but he was smiling!! How rare is THAT??? Thank you soooo much for a great interaction, and when I come back, I will wait for him. Not sure how Rowlett did it, but they did great finding him. The mail person who was not my usual male person left a note on one of my packages in my mailbox that says that we need a signature and nobody answered the door over 21. She didn't even attempt to go to the door she just left the note I watched her do then I walked out to check the mailbox and saw one package and then the note on the package. When I went to go pick it up I arrived after work at 5 running through the door and they had already shut the line down saying that they're closed. I'm so angry read more
