REGARDING PASSPORT WALK-INS [1 for experience during: JANUARY 2026] If you arrive here for walk-in's between 12:00PM-1:00PM, they'll go ahead and tell you they only accept the first four applicants rather than working the entire hour listed on the USPS website. While this time allotment makes sense since each passport should take 15 minutes to process if you have all the required documents, but if they end up finishing four applicants by 12:22PM(say, a family came in and they all had their information ready), with 38 minutes to spare until 1:00PM, you WILL get told to read the sign on the door and get told to go home. The reasoning stated is because: - Processing the passports uses up their Lunch Break, they're doing this out of generosity since they do not have to. - There are appointments all throughout the day, up to a full month out. I would have appreciated if the website mentioned that they only accepted FOUR applicants and NONE MORE between12:00PM to 1PM rather than choosing to not work the full hour they had allotted on the website. *If you still want to do passports here, be sure to arrive an hour or so early, I stress that they only accept FOUR people, and many others will arrive early as well. You may have a easier time seeki REGARDING PACKAGES AND MAIL [3 for unpredictability of busy hours] If you're going here for sending packages or letters though you'll probably get it sent within a 5-15 minute wait if it isn't busy. They do seem to be understaffed. read more

I just went in to ship some packages and had no idea what I was doing lolz, but the lady working there explained everything and was super nice and helpful despite my frustration read more

I've always gotten good friendly services tellers are very knowledgeable and always pleasant attitudes

If i could add zero star I would . This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a post office. I've never felt more disrespected, not just by one, but by multiple staff members at this location. The man named Will was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional , not only toward me, but to other customers as well. He clearly doesn't know how to speak to people with basic decency. The Indian woman working there was just as unpleasant. impatient and unhelpful, with no regard for the people she's supposed to be serving. To make matters worse, just the other day I walked in and saw both of them literally arguing on the floor, going at it right in front of customers. Completely unprofessional, embarrassing, and uncomfortable for everyone in the building. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from staff representing the U.S. Postal Service. It's honestly disgraceful, and these individuals should not be working in any public-facing role. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location completely. Save yourself the disrespect and frustration. read more

This post office wins the award for Worst customer service!! Zero stars. Arrived before closing time to pick up a package and they refused to answer the door for pickup. The LAZY ATTENDANT sitting at the counter said were closed now. You cant be closed if you're still sitting there. A little effort goes a long way. If you close at 5pm then close at 5pm!!! Not before. Not the first time experiencing poor service. Clearly all the horrible reviews dont make a difference as nothing has changed to improve. These are the worhless type of employees that absolutely need to be replaced by robots. read more

Just had a lovely experience at the post office here! We knew we came in a bit early for passport application walk-ins and we were prepared to wait, but the gentleman behind the counter helped us through! Both employees we encountered were very kind and polite, and we greatly appreciate their efforts! read more

I was nearing the end of my run with Rowlett, having moved out of the area and my children also having moved to other locations. The ladies in the Rowlett Post Office were very friendly and helpful to assist me with wrapping up the final details and patient as I was getting my new box setup. Thanks to everyone here!!! read more

Absolutely the RUDEST and unhelpful people I've ever met!!! Poor attitude, condescending, and lack of basic courtesy. They acted completely rude when I simply asked for a receipt for the package I paid to mail. Be sure to tape up your package before getting to the post office. You'll be required to purchase an entire roll of tape for 3.99 if any labels need to be attached. Awful place!!! read more

this specific location has some of the laziest workers I've ever encountered. They refuse to help you or guide you in the right direction if you need help with something. My last experience with needing to file a claim was horrible to say the least. First they damage my package then continue to ship it without the contents. That makes me look like a bad seller and isn't great for the workers either but I guess they don't care. I tried to file a claim online before coming in but online it said the service wasn't available. I go in to ask to file one and the guy refuses to help me and just says it's only available online. I told him I tried to do that already and he keeps just repeating himself. So what am I supposed to do if it's unavailable online? It's not until I show him the screenshot on my phone of it being unavailable that he finally gives me a card with a number to call. I guess he needed proof I don't know. The number is no help, it's all AI and you can't get to a person to speak with. The USPS has to be some of the worst customer service and support of any business. read more

The guy who delivers in Rowlett's area has always been saying that he delivers and he didn't. It's already happened to me three times, I'm tired of this. The first time it says that it was delivered at the front door, but there was nothing there. I went to the USPS office the next day and the guy who delivers it was there and told me in the face that he delivered it at my front door, so when I was leaving the office to go home, the same guy who told me that he left it at my front door was leaving my package in the mailbox. The second time the same. The package was supposedly delivered, but it was not two more days waiting for the package. I never got it. I went to the USPS office and my package was in the office. The third time same but the difference is that I still don't got my package. I went to USPS office and like always they just ask for my number and they will call me back and they never do. The workers there always have a nasty attitude. read more

the staff you hire can improve it's very evident they don't give a damn about customer service it's merely a job, a pay check a means to an end. they aren't welcoming especially the Black man at the front desk he was sitting down a couple of times i came in and really didn't move to get up unless you approached his desk, the hispanic guy is a little better and the asian woman is more engaging than him (hispanic guy) all in all this isn't a service business i want to visit id rather go to UPS store read more

Indian man that works at the front might be the saddest human being I have ever met, looks around 55-60 yrs old. Unfortunately I did not catch his name, I couldn't think straight with how rude this gentleman was. Too bad government employees never get fired. They don't need to worry about customer service or perhaps just being a kind human being. If you hate your job so much and like to belittle people in the process perhaps it's time for a career change. I wish I would have paid attention to all the negative reviews before coming here. I will be paying for a passport renewal when I can and happily pay the extra fees just not to have the memory of this terrible man or place. Guess he did good in getting me to fork up more money. read more

Ordered from amazon and had the pleasure of this company handling my order. 0/10 Definitely would not recommend, after all of the back and fourth of them closing out my request to have package re-delivered, I have to go pick it up. Drop off a 300$ package in the dropbox for the first time using Rowlett location because i moved. Package got Lost it didnt move anywhere. Cant fight for it as it showed never got dropped off. Few days later 2nd attempt took 5 more packages to the front to get scan acceptance with receipt , she rushed me to the window... went to the window to get scan he rushed me off say "why dont you drop it off at the drop box, its the same thing" and i politely replied I lost a package doing that before.. he said "you sure u dropped it off?" Lol im pretty sure sir. He added " i cant get you a receipt anyway" rudely.... yet all these at Garland location on beltline could have been done with a smile instead. I miss my usps peoples at Garland location. read more

Terrible. Useless woman called to tell me they lost my package and there was nothing they could do about it... and she had the nerve to have an attitude about it. read more

1.) They lied that they delivered my package in the parcel locker. I don't think they're aware that the parcel locker notifies residents when a package is delivered and when it was delivered. I have Evidence that the mail wasn't delivered. From all the bad reviews, it seems like this is their norm. This location needs to be shut down, we use the Rockwall location. I'm dreading my mails coming through them. Who is in charge of this location? read more

I would give this post office a negative five if I could. I am renting a mail box and was helped by the customer service associate Will. He is not helpful, does not inform or explain anything and is rude. He should not have employment with any company working with the public. read more

If I could give "ZERO" stars, I would. Pathetic delivery on shipped items. You just get it when you get it. No hurry. No sense of urgency. They are just always late and you get a bunch of horseshit excuses to go along with their crappy attitude. read more

Rowlett has the worst postal service. They might come 2 days out of the week. Mails always wrong. Bills always not coming or getting messed up. Reported it so many times and only getting worse. read more

Post Master was Extremely RUDE when he called me after myself and daughter complained about mail route carrier not picking up my mail or delivering my mail. He said there was vehicles parked in front of my mail box and the nearest vehicle is 10 FT away. Worst service I have ever experienced. The post master needs to be Replaced if they cannot conduct their selves appropriate, and manage the carriers correctly. The only reason they was given 1 star is because I had to choose something. read more

I called their main number rang several times and went to busy signal. Poor communication, I would say NON at ALL!

Horrible customer service, always extremely slow, never has any sort of packing material available in the lobby, not even pens available to the public. Cashiers always act as though you're bothering them. I will go out of my way to the Garland post office 10-15 mins away rather than deal with this particular location which is only 2 mins from my house. read more

All I ask is for the idiot delivering my mail is to CLOSE my mailbox after he puts the mail in it. It's closed when he gets here but not when he leaves. This guy is either stupid or just lazy. Fire the clown. read more

Worst post office in Texas. Very rude when they pick up, IF they pick up. Neighbors and myself have complained numerous times of wrong delivery. They flat out are horrible and rude. I spent over an hour on phone and the lady that answered blew me off about a non delivery, and said I could wait on hold for an hour or wait for a call back. I have never yelled or lost my temper with a postal worker I now transcript all calls. After 11 years of horrible customer service, being just plain hung up on because it was friday and they wanted to go home. I will be taking this above their head and filing a serious complaint to the Post master general. read more

Great. Thanks. Done. Now let me post my review. Thank you. I like the self-service. Just letting customers know that this place has a self-service unlike some other "broke" post offices. I traveled a few miles just to visit this post office. Thanks. Thank you. Post Review already. C'mon. read more

I was told there's no video surveillance in this building so how we going to prove what happened and when that's a damn shame

Called 4 times during office hours in the past week about a package that was never delivered... of course no answer.

Can I leave a 0? I found a notice saying they "missed me" (No I didn't, I was home the entire day...), I followed the link to schedule a re-delivery on Nov 3rd. A few business days later and it remains in that status, meanwhile nobody answers any calls. Almost impossible to even find out if your package is even at this facility or not and when I finally talked to someone they said that yesterday (Nov. 15) they started to return packages to sender? How did they dodge my calls, never changed status from "re-delivery scheduled" for 10 days and the just return to sender. Completely mismanaged my package, and extremely poor customer service. The guy I finally talked to said, "if you haven't noticed we don't do re-delivery."- Are you serious? read more

Terrible place, never go here! I waited in line for 45 minutes only for the guy at the counter to tell me he can't return my package because they don't have the right tape to seal it and that I will have to go buy the tape, do it myself and then come back! I'm never returning. Poor service. read more

Dirty looking on the inside, also very rude employees. Refused to scan in a prepaid package which has been done multiple times before at 2 different Rockwall locations. Either incompetence or obstinance, either way the dude needs a new profession. read more

Very disappointed to find my mailbox stuffed with mail after returning home! I had put the mail on hold via on-line & had a confirmation number! Called in uber eats, Saturday night...I get it.... Uber eats kept extending the the time.... Reached out to the driver who said he's been waiting for 25 minutes for the restaurant to give him the order...so I decided to call the restaurant ... call.....the lady who answered the phone said I was breaking in and out.... I wasn't moving around... anyway she hung up.... I called back.... She said they no longer sold potstickers so they were deciding what to do.... I of course asked why they didn't call anyone to let me know and that I wanted to speak to a manager... I mean How about let the customer know.... Just my reasoning but didn't say anything...manager came on and scolded me as well and hung up on me way before the employee did.... She obviously had a privileged life.... If I could give the stars just for employee interaction......rather than the business itself..I would. I live in Frisco, but was in this part of town. You wouldn't believe how amazing my experience was at this post office because of Mike. I usually HATE the post office...and I say that being nice. Hate is too light a word. Employees are usually gruff, abrupt and all around rude. Unfortunately, this tends to happen at most post offices, but not this time. Not this day. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and all around professional. And I may faint....but he was smiling!! How rare is THAT??? Thank you soooo much for a great interaction, and when I come back, I will wait for him. Not sure how Rowlett did it, but they did great finding him. Wish we had him at the Frisco office, I wouldn't be so stressed mailing a package. Perhaps others will follow his great example- and hopefully they are able to keep him! Thanks again! read more

Closed on Saturday. Apparently they think that most people with a normal work shift are all off during the week

The mail person who was not my usual male person left a note on one of my packages in my mailbox that says that we need a signature and nobody answered the door over 21. She didn't even attempt to go to the door she just left the note I watched her do then I walked out to check the mailbox and saw one package and then the note on the package. When I went to go pick it up I arrived after work at 5 running through the door and they had already shut the line down saying that they're closed. I'm so angry read more
