I walked in at 3p, there were 9 people in front of me. I left at 340p, so 40 minutes in line, it was torture. All the talk about privatizing. Please someone make it happen. There is no regard, not one iota of concern for the wait time of customers. There was one person working, only one, there was a line out the door by the time I left. Why not at least have someone go thru the line and answer basic questions. There was one lady who didn't fill out the mail label. Instead of 'from' label part being completed first, she did the 'To' part first. An easy mistake to make. One guy was sending an overnight letter, he could not fill out the form correctly. English was not his primary language. One lady had a problem with her P.O.Box key. All the above would have reduced the wait time. The problem is NO ONE cares. They are a virtual monopoly. The ONLY way, I've found to get in and out quickly is to go early in the morning before the line starts. Unfortunately, that's not always possible.

It was a good experience, a few bumps but nothing major. Today, I needed to get some art prints enlarged so they would be suitable for framing. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman named Tyrone who introduced himself as the Manager and indicated his colleague Maria as new and was in training. I said that's fine and waited patiently for about 15 minutes while the two people in the store were being assisted. After about 20 minutes a lady with her hair wrapped up in a colored piece of cloth walked in and put her box down on the counter while she talked on the phone. Then she started talking to the Manager. I looked right at her and said 'excuse me, there are others that are waiting in line'. She got mouthy and said something like well you can just leave and go to another store. I said to her 'There are rude people who always think their time is more valuable than everyone else' and I walked out. The Manager came out to my vehicle and apologized and I told him I had to run another errand and I would be back. I returned in about 45 minute and the problem was gone and I proceeded to have Tyrone assist me. He as knowledgable, professional and helpful. He apologized for the rudeness of the customer. I told him, he didn't need to do that but I appreciated him for coming out to my vehicle to speak to me. I told him, I have encountered rude people many times before and most of the time I let it go but my New Years resolution is to 'call out rudeness' Name it as such and indicated it's not acceptable behavior, I don't care who you are or where you come from. Believe me people, if you allow rudeness and unacceptable behavior to continue common courtesy and civility will disappear. Thanks Tyrone, you turned what started out as a bad experience to a five star review.

We paid for a "1 day delivery" on a couple documents that needed to get to Nashville. We paid approx $100 for this service and was told very clearly by the store employee that "If this does not get there in 24 hours that you will get a full refund". Of course, the package did not get there on Saturday, UPS closed on Sunday, nothing Monday with them finally showing up on Tuesday. I contacted this store for my "full refund" and was told that they would process it immediately. What showed up was about $75 as they indicated I would still be charged a "fuel surcharge" of approx $25. I contacted Remji (sp?), store manager, and was then told that this was a "UPS decision" and "I am not UPS - I am an UPS Store". I found that to be a disappointing response - especially from the manager. He further explained in a long drawn out response that he had no control over this. I tried to tell him that HIS employee promised us a "full refund" so that I felt he WAS indeed responsible as that employee obviously needed some additional training so as to not make commitments like this to customers. He disagreed. I'm just moving on..but wanted to just make you aware of what i consider to be a manager NOT taking responsibility to do the right thing for a customer. Last thing - I later found out that FED EX has MUCH better logistics to handle 1 day deliveries (especially for Saturday deliveries) so I will be headed there for all my future shipment needs. I hope you have a great day!
