Honestly, ZERO stars.  They supposedly attempted to deliver 2 packages and left a notice.  There was no notice left behind and that was their final delivery attempt.  The next day, they first claimed another attempt was made at 9:30 AM.  I was home and the blinds were open, so it was very obvious someone was available for packages.  It was later changed to pick up only at 9:30 AM instead.  What shipping company only makes 1 "delivery attempt"???  We have 3 post offices in 11385 zip code!  Which one do I go to?  Maybe I would know if I had the notice that wasn't left behind.  I'm leaving this review for all 3 post offices. read more

This location is the worst location I've been to. I've had bad experiences here in the past and decided to give them a second chance today. I went in with a pre paid label and I needed a receipt for my package. The dude said "last window" and pointed to a window that was like.. a drop off.. I told him I wanted a receipt but he completely ignored me and took the next person, and opened his glass for her.. I'm never going back to this location. Go to the one on metropolitan in middle village. That location is better and more professional. read more

She was rude from the start with me with no apparent reason and refused to basically do her job telling me that the prepaid label I had was for a lighter package and she couldn't take it( which was a complete lie). I live in Bushwick. Which is THE HOME of the worst post office over on broadway and gates ave. So I figured it can't be worse. Lol. It's the same shit. Shitty service. Shitty people that clearly look like they don't wanna be there. Even the people at the Bushwick location at least assisted when I had questions. At this location they are not helpful, got an atttitude like I bee asking for their left kidney. So I figured... maybe they are having a bad day.. naaaaa. This is all the fucking ttime. One time they even watching me bring in a large tv. Saw me enter. Watch me wait in line and ddidnt even tell me anything about them not being able to ship an item so large or so heavy. NOT SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY. IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY DO NOT GO HERE. I believe I was discriminated against at this location as the office workers made fun of me for saying I had a service dog ("how can he be a service dog when he has one eye?" and then denied me service when I asked them to stop ("excuse me, I have PTSD and I believe your comments are discriminatory") I stayed in the post office and filmed them as I literally broke down crying asking them to please mail my package, over and over. They claimed I threatened them (a lie) which is why I recorded video of the situation. Several other customers tried to intervene and help and I offered several times to delete video If they simply did the job I needed from them, that I required them to do. The cops were called, they mailed my package for me, and sent me on my way. I am distraught and appalled at the way I was treated here and will not be coming back. read more

It's a post office. It's close to my place. It gets the job done. Three stars though, because of one incident. I had to send a return back to Amazon. Amazon claims it never received the item back, and had to charge the card. I had dropped off the package at this post office. read more

I really dreaded going to the post office but I had to send 20 pounds of books to Europe. Expected to patiently wait for a long time and then be treated in a rude way. Complete opposite. Got there on a Friday around noon. Only one person before me. The lady working there was really sweet, helped me to figure out the best deal (it was still 83 bucks, therefore only 4 stars - but I know she couldn't do anything about this). I needed to get wrapping paper, she recommended the dollar-store around the corner and offered to keep my books so that I wouldn't have to carry them. While I was wrapping the package and filling out the custom form, there were never more than two other customers. Was definitely worth taking the subway two stops and avoid going to the post office that would've been closer. read more

This is a very small post office, in comparison to the other one in the neighborhood on Myrtle Avenue; so the line is usually much shorter. Its almost a hidden spot, right off of Fresh Pond Road; you can easily miss it. They have less employees in this location so this can slow down the line but in my experience, you can get everything done much faster even with the shortage of employees compared to the office on myrtle where the line starts forming an hour before opening, if not earlier. read more

This was my first trip to this post office today. I really got tired of standing endless line at my usual post office around my house and decided to visit here. The gentle man in the window was very efficient and kind enough to let me know the cheaper way of sending the package to Japan. The transaction went so smooth unlike my usual post office and overall I was very pleased customer. The only thing I have noticed is that there was only one window open at 9:00am and already had quite few people waiting. I was the third one to be taken in yet I thought they should have all the windows open considering the fact that it is very closed to Christmas. read more

One woman in there is always so sweet to me and that's why it gets 3 stars. Otherwise, it's smaller than a bathroom, line is horrendously long, they don't function as a normal post office so why bother being there?!, they only have one person at a window at a time when there's 4 windows available, never stocked with any stamp options or boxes for shipping, and there's usually a sign on the door during normal business hours and not on holidays saying something like "closed for an hr because it's Wednesday" or something like "it's raining so go to your main branch on myrtle ave". I was dreading going to the post office and decided to try my luck here. Hallelujah! Very helpful friendly staff and no waiting!

Waited all day, from 11 till 6pm for an important package to arrive. Took the day off work to make sure i was here for it. Checked the door at least 8 times throughout the day. Last time I go out and check and they had left a "Sorry we missed you" note. No one had ever even tried to ring, I have a loud buzzer in my apartment. That's how packages are usually delivered. They just walked in, dropped off this piece of paper and walked out. They could just leave the damn package in the doorway, it's a closed door, not an open porch. If your too lazy to press a button and ring a bell, then just drop the package and go. read more
