This Post Office always has a line. I usually go around lunch time. I get 50 minutes for lunch. I think this is the busiest time. There is always 1 teller window open with the rest of the tellers on lunch. Why not have the tellers there to assist during these busy hours & schedule lunch around the busy times. Yesterday there was 1 teller doing passport's & all other transactions I couldn't even get the postage I needed to mail my letter had to go back to work. I never read the reviews as I never stand in line and had any experience w/them. The reviews are on point from all the negative reviews. But they will never close or replace these people because let's face it, every location in the USA, same kind of "losers" working in USPS. haha lol....Not kidding! Today, I think they recently closed probably 10 mins or so ago but they did NOT lock the doors yet. There was no one around in the counters and the drop boxes were closed. However, you can clearly hear yapping, chatting in the background. I said HELLO, same type of loser worker came out and said we are CLOSED. I said yes, I understand that but I don't need any help these have prepaid labels I just need to drop somewhere since your counters and boxes are locked and this bitch again said WE ARE NOT TAKING THEM, THE TRUCKS HAVE LEFT. Terrible experience with receptionist and their supervisor. I had to come back over 3 times in a day but couldn't get my package. They asked for a lot of proof name and address for international package. I gave them all of my ID, utility bills and business information to proof that package belongs to me. At the end they just said and laughing we can't release the package to you we have to redeliver tomorrow. I'm not one to write reviews often but the customer service at this post office was that awful. First, while waiting in line, one of the representatives was seen yelling at a Spanish guy saying she cant help him because she doesn't speak Spanish and dismissing him. I intervened to assist and help the guy out but even while speaking to me the representative had an attitude like she could not be bothered. Meanwhile she had 2 of her friends hanging out in the waiting area talking to her. She dismissed/ignored the people waiting in line to talk and laugh with her friends. Incredibly unprofessional and nasty attitude towards customers. When I got to her booth and explained that I had a package being held there due to "insufficient address". She told me she was not able to help me with this. I explained to her that I was sent here from my zone post office and told that I had 2 weeks to claim it here....I went two days after getting the notification that the package was being sent back....She proceeded to send me to wait for the post office manager. This manager then tells me, after "checking in the back" for 20 minutes that he was not able to find my package and believes it was already sent back.....even though its only been 2 days...and policy states it is held at post office for 2-4 weeks. I don't want to accuse this office of stealing a package but its been 2 months and the sender STILL hasn't received the item back. Super disappointed with this experience and upset at how careless their attitude is towards customers. DO BETTER read more

Here comes yet another 1-star review. I wish I was allowed to give a zero. First, the typical issues with this location, or any USPS location, for that matter. I came in in the morning, at about 10:30 AM. As I enter I see the usual picture: out of 5 windows, only 1 is open, while 15 + people are waiting in line. So, I join the line of the unfortunate souls. I wait while suffocating as there was no AC. Minutes later I come to the window and request "next day" delivery. I had a letter to mail. I mean, I knew it would cost me, but $27?????? Whatever. I paid. But before I did I had to fill out a form. The lady at the window went through it as if with the magnifying glass. I pay, get my receipt and off I go away from this godawful place. I thought there was the end of troubles with this place. Nope. Hours later I get the text message from USPS saying that something was wrong with my delivery address and I had to correct the issue. I was livid! So I clicked the link in the text and did what was asked. I entered exactly the same address I did on that stupid form I completed at the office. Like I said, the lady checked the form and did not say anything! Now, the worst part is...drum roll please...I had to pay what they call "redelivery fee!" of $3! What kind of business is this? They messed up and I had to pay for their mistake? I wish there was some divine intervention at this point. I will never, ever use this location again or any USPS services. Insane! read more

Their direction to the customer is always unclear, especially thru the plastic shield and face masks. They keep on shouting at customers as they all lost which window to go (as there is only arrow but no window number signs to direct and they don't make eye contact or hand sign behind their closed window). Horrible service. It doesn't cost money to be nice. But every single one who sits behind window are there to make your life harder. I try my best to avoid this post office. But today I needed to get 100 stamps. I walked up to the window letting the clerk know what I needed, she lets me know that it will be $55 and asked me to pay. After I paid she asked me to sign the receipt and she just dropped a roll and a recipe under the window. I asked her does this roll has 100 stamps? But I wanted the colorful stamps that's literally sitting on top of her desk; I didn't want the roll. She is like no return and exchange. I am still at the window dumbfounded- I am letting her know I just wanted a different stamp. She didn't ask me what I wanted before taking my money! But she sat there repeating herself... the line kept getting longer and she made no effort to help. Let me begin by saying that I don't mind waiting in line. It's a post office- there's always a line. My package was placed on hold here for me to pick up. When I came to retrieve the package, an employee looked up my tracking number and stated that the package was delayed because of weather. I asked if she was sure because my information didn't reflect that- it says the customer had scheduled for pickup. I gave her the printed paper with that same information and she immediately went to grab her manager. The manager, an older white woman with blond hair and thick black down turned eyeliner, came by and told me they didn't have my package and there was so many packages they could not and would not look for it. She told me she would call when the package "showed up" as a courtesy. I explained that I would wait in the background of the post office or return if necessary but I didn't want my package to return to sender. I waited for the package for over a month and the items were sold out online, the company would not honor the same discount I had waited long to receive. Immediately, I was chastised for not being available for the original delivery (no one ever rang my bell or knocked on my door) and she was so irritated with the fact that I did not simply say "okay yes sure" that she was almost spitting her words out. She was condescending and spoke to me loudly in a demeaning manner in front of a full post office. Humiliating. A few days later I returned. I still had received no call from the Post Office (I knew that would happen) and wanted to follow up. Side note: it's worth mentioning this location does not have an active phone number. Even USPS has a faulty number for this location. I spoke with the first employee from the week before and she immediately passed me to another employee. It was obvious the manager had given them a rundown of the situation and I was met with, surprise! Hostility and disgust. The blond manager suddenly disappeared when I showed up and the new employee aggressively asked me "didn't you already talk to my manager? Didn't she say she'd figure it out for you?!" At this point I responded that it had been some time, and usps advised that I try again. She told me my package was not the only one missing (what does that say about your location?) and that I would have to wait. I left with a new phone number for this location which, plot twist, does not work either. I never received my package. And I have been ordering packages to be delivered to my brother's house in an effort to avoid this place. The quality of people working here is subpar. Additionally, it's clear that once one person does not like you, the whole staff decides you're worthless. Where is the accountability? Furthermore, much to my dismay, there was a woman ahead of me with blonde hair and blue eyes who was also picking up a package placed on hold. She left with her package after waiting less than ten minutes. She looked at me with pity as I stood there listening to the employee belittle me. It should not be too much to ask for to be treated with courtesy by another human being. Your job is important and I understand these are tough times. But belittling people and discriminating/ blacklisting people because you don't like them or their face is disgusting. I leave this place feeling slimy as though I am contaminated by their obvious hatred of people and their disdain for their jobs. I would rather take the bus, a cab, a train, a horse, or teleport to any other post office than this one. It's a shame that such an important job is given to such undeserving, classless individuals. read more

This station has offered numerous episodes. It is guaranteed you see a long line snaking once you step in, whose tail sometimes barely contained in the office. To get to a window to be served, it would usually take 30minutes. Had it not been for the only redeeming figure--a female clerk behind the window (Indonesian origin) who I know is always trying her best, which I appreciated dearly and their still alluring business hours--stays open later than most of P.O.s-- I would have written a one star review a year ago. Regarding other workers, they are mostly horrendous unprofessionals. There are too many errors being made right in front of you. Oddly their transit process seems to be uniquely leisurely. The items are kept overly long in the station after being processed. Or tracking numbers do not reflect the items' accurate transportation. The worst of all, though, is the supervisor figure. Despite that she throws her temper at people in a spectacular manner and exhibits her unsound behavior which lives up to no norms, either social or professional whatsoever and all we could assume was that she might really have a mental issue, she's still there to our surprise. This explains USPS's extreme low standard in customer service and their employees' requirement. One day after being kept in line for thirty minutes, I finally arrived at the window to be told that there was an additional fill-out that the parcel I was sending off needed due to the destination involved the US military facility. They were surely closing and the clerk who was handling the transaction was swaying from the window while I was left alone in now the dimly lit office filling the form out. Here came their sociopath supervisor behind my neck. Her sudden and unreasonable attack of rebuke surely stunned me, which went 'staying here this late, taking long.' She menaced me to get this done and get out now that she was closing the station. Although I had maintained low expectations for USPS in general in my life, her irrational train of thought, let alone her inappropriate behavior at this stage, dreaded me. Or was it the shutter closing bar that she held that made me jump up? I was still here because her subordinates were so underperforming and ill-serving that all the customers were kept waiting this long. How inappropriate was it to put blame on a customer as if I sneaked in to be found there when all the operation dragging the business. 'Lady, you are barking at the wrong tree.' I could have offered her as the commentary, which came to me as an afterthought. At the moment, however, I was too disturbed to process what seemed to be a bit endangering in proximity. Since then, I make it a rule that I go there only when I have luxuries of time and some guts to take their abuse. That is more like theory. Is this an update? No, more frustrations that they cannot deliver mail. It says delivery attempted yet I get no slip. I was home, a package was delivered the day before with no problems. Is it just one mailperson's ineptitude? Or multiple. So we go in to get the packages and the woman who gets packages doesn't bother grabbing me from the line. Let's me stand there for a good amount of time before going, packages! Then, she won't release the package because I have a different last name than my husband. Eventually I found sufficient proof for her and I get the package. Unfortunately, lady didn't see that there were TWO packages on that slip. So now, I must return to hell. Fine, that might be some responsibility on my part for that - but did she need to have such attitude? Did she need to TOSS MY PACKAGE at me? This is a terrible place. First, they often do not deliver your mail and just leave a card instead (sometimes they don't even do that). Second, they lost packages. One day the staff said it is redelivered, another day they said it was in the post office, and then it was sent back to the sender......... I just went back and forth.....and came back with nothing. And I do not know where to complain, or how can I apply for a compensation of a lost item. USPS service is frustrating in general but this particular post office takes the cake. read more

This place is a joke. Or just usps in general. I was supposed to have a package delivered to me yesterday waited at home all day but no news. Until I got my text message update saying they've attempted delivery but failed saying that a notice was left (which was a lie). Waited on the phone for more than an hour to ensure that my package was at this location. Got here at 9 waited until 945 to be told that my package was at the broadway location. I have had a few nightmare experiences with this post office over the last 40 years, but I am writing to compliment them for going above and beyond! This Friday I waited at home all day for a USPS delivery from Amazon which I needed for today. You can imagine my anger when about 7pm that night I logged into Amazon to see that delivery failed because there was no safe place to leave my package. No one ever rang my bell and there was no "attempt to deliver" notice was left. I believe the package never got off the truck. On Friday night I contacted USPS by phone requesting redelivery. I also contacted Amazon by email I was assured the package would arrive on Saturday. At 9am on Saturday I did find a delivery notice saying they tried to deliver on Saturday morning and I wasn't there. Once again I reached out but this time to the local PO. the gentleman I spoke with assured me he would contact the diver and get back to me. The callback actually came promptly. This route supervisor went the extra yards to have another postal worker find the truck with my package and have it delivered to me before the end of their workday. This supervisor and the second driver went the extra mile! I would suggest that if you treat our postal workers as brothers and sisters rather than as the enemy, you'll never be disappointed. read more

Serious this is the worst location ever in my living area because of their service. I have a package delivered by usps by this location mail man. And I track it online it said delivered in my mail box and I never received it. Then I filed the case and get the case number and ask for following up by this location supervisor . After 3 days and I received an unknown called ID by this location supervisor and he said he won't take any responsibly for my case. Because he said their mail man have delivered and it is not their fault . Then I ask his who is the mail man working on that day and I want to ask. When did he deliver because I was at home whole day and wait for the package and never sign my package. But somehow it said delivered inside my mail box. They close at 7pm! Great, but what is the point if you arrive at 630p and are still online at 730pm. This has got to be the worst post office in America. They never attempt to deliver packages or leave a slip. I was home numerous times that they said an attempt was made to deliver the package. The lines are long alllll the time. When you finally get to the window the customer service rep is useless and slow. There are signs that there is a separate line for package pick ups but they seem to open that line and change its location whenever they feel like it. One day I was in a line for over 45 minutes waiting to pick up a package. The girl that was doing the packages went on lunch break and told no one. We were all wondering why she took the slips and wasn't to be found for over 30 minutes (with our slips btw), then another guy comes hobbling out saying if there are any heavy packages you cant get them because he cant carry them! WTF! Just let me go back there and find my own package! At one point last year the postal delivery guy wasn't even coming upstairs with the packages. He would ring my bell downstairs, I was waiting for about 15 minutes when I realized he hasn't come up yet, I went down to see if there was some mistake-- (maybe he was able to leave it in my box) and the guys is standing in from the security desk with everyone's packages saying that everyone has to come down and pick up their own package! So when was you going to tell us that?? Every time something ships USPS in cringe at the thought of having to come here.
