Best staff at any post office ever! Consistently cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable.

My experience with USPS has been repeatedly disappointing, and it's clear there are systemic issues that need to be addressed. Recently, I had a package that was marked as "out for delivery" early in the day, which gave me some hope. However, my doubts were confirmed later when the status updated to "delivery attempted" with the reason being "mailbox full." In reality, the package never left the post office, and I suspect there was no actual intention of delivering it. Instead, I would have been required to pick it up myself. This is not the first time USPS has failed to deliver reliably. Packages are often delayed, misplaced, or handled poorly, leaving customers frustrated. In this case, I was fortunate enough to have a personal contact who retrieved the package before the carriers left for the day, but this is not a solution most people can rely on. The lack of accountability and follow-through from USPS is unacceptable. Whether it's due to staffing shortages, poor management, or other factors, the service is clearly not meeting the standards expected. These repeated failures undermine customer trust and create unnecessary inconvenience. I urge USPS to reevaluate its processes and find ways to improve delivery reliability and accountability. Customers deserve better service and consistent follow-through, especially when so many depend on USPS for timely and safe delivery of important items. read more

US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Rainier, Oregon

Unfortunately, I've spoken to the US post office here in Redmond on multiple occasions and for whatever reason they keep getting my mail, turned into the adjacent building here at my apartment complex and it's been really infuriating. I've spoken to multiple different Postal Service workers as they are delivering the mail who I will say, have all been Lovely. That being said they have not given me any suggestions, his heart to remedy the situation and it's been very stressful having my mail sent to the adjacent buildings unit with the same unit number. read more

They delivere packages late and to the wrong address. I have had to request picking up my packages from now on...yet, somehow, I have 3 packages out for delivery. The last package they say they delivered must have gotten stolen cause it wasn't delivered to me and they would do nothing about it. If my packages get stolen today, they will be paying for it. read more

The carrier is lazy. More than once has left a package at the bottom of my driveway on a rock in plain sight next to the main road. If you live there I would suggest getting a postal box maybe that will be better than home delivery read more

It's a post office. Honestly the staff in there are really nice and helpful. Like any other post office they have stamps and boxes. You can also rent PO Boxes and if you need a street address just have your package delivered to 207 West A Street. It works great. read more

Rainier, a rural community of 2000 is lucky to have this post office and it's dedicated employees. I recommend you rent a post office box in Rainier. Your packages will be delivered into a secure locker inside the post office by noon daily. Sign up for informed delivery so you know if you are receiving mail or packages. Rural mail carriers are wonderful. read more

Most of the unwanted unsolicited bulk mail is timely, but if it's priority or first class expect a delay from Lee Lukken she'll scan the tracking# as delivered when it's really unworked mail pile or missorted & at risk of being lost or stolen. This Post office is under employed and will not deliver packages just saying "attempted delivery" when delivery was NOT even attempted. Mail box is usually big enough to hold packages and when not able they don't even attempt to drop it off at the house. Phones are almost never working, and a worker told me that they don't even answer the phones because there's so many people calling. THIS IS REDICULUS! read more

I'd give the Rainier P.O. ZERO s IF I COULD! The carrier that we have had forced on us since Tami's retirement is an immature boy who has come within inches of hitting our car and other neighbors' cars several times by constantly being on our side of the road from the beginning. He skips mailboxes he doesn't feel like deigning to deliver to that particular day. The woman answering the phone in the office is usually the same rude one, who IS NO HELP when told the mail is LATE OR NEVER ARRIVED. We're putting up with possible risk of life and limb when we me meet up with the carrier. the Post Office doesn't care and now, REFUSES TO DELIVER to residences to any road not in perfect condition. They've kept our road's mail hostage for well over a week BEFORE THE SNOW! read more

This may be the best post office I have ever been in. The parking lot is large, the access is easy, and the staff is very polite and accommodating. I have been here to mail packages, pick up deliveries, and purchase postage. Every time, the counter person greeted me with a smile and was extremely helpful. It's too bad all post offices aren't like this one! read more

Every encounter with this post office has been rough. I don't even know where to start. I checked my post office box today. My mail was crammed in there, wrinkled and damaged. I wish I could say that this is a situation that only occurs when I check my mail less often (pandemic time), but this seems to be the regular way of doing business at this location. Outgoing mail is rarely scanned for tracking unless you take it to the counter for the clerk to scan. I've had both incoming and outgoing mail get lost. I've received other peoples mail and other people have received mine, both at the post office and at route delivery. I almost want to get a job there so I can figure out what is going on. Why are the employees so unhappy? Why are they not taking pride in their work? I've only been dealing with them for a year. At first, I didn't want to write a review because I didn't want my service to become worse (small town problems). At this point, I don't think it can get worse. read more

Never pay for a PO box by the year. Moved 350 miles away, had a friend turn the keys in, completed a change of address. PO told me I had to come In person to get a 6 month refund. Not very practical or fair. Probably one of the many reasons PO does poorly. read more
