USPO does not deliver any mail. Personnel are rude, arrogant, and very unhelpful. No easy access for persons in wheelchairs. it is the tiniest po I have ever seen with long lines and only 1 window. Mail is returned to sender often. Worst post office I have ever been in. read more

Horrible service. Time for a new post master. Doesn't matter if you have a post office box or not. Iv traveled to many towns and have never had this kind of experience. And not just 1 time but has become normal. We jump through all of their hoops and excuses but service is still lousy. Everyone else in town including emergency services do fine during the influx of people. Post office is this way year round. In my opinion this post office has the worst service, the worst quality, and the worst value of any post office I've ever been to in this country. They've adopted their own rules against their customers to do as little work as they can. The want no mail and no customers. They can't stand General Delivery. They are anti-customer. I was expecting a package from eBay that would be transfered from the Quartzsite, AZ post office to Moon Mountain Mail service, where I could pick it up. The address had the Moon Mountain address on the label. This is a small town, all of the workers should know it would go into the Moon Mountain pickup bin. But, they instead returned it to sender. Hopefully, I will get my money back for the item but the shipping cost of $21.20 will not be returned. Their lack of competence and common sense has cost me money. Being on SS, $21.20 is not small change. I can't afford to have eBay to resend it. Things like this happens at this P.O. quite often. The person in charge needs to be held accountable. Can you imagine serving a population of around 4,000 then suddenly that population swells to over a million? And you are providing service with the same, small staff? Well, there you have it. March 2023: This post office makes up their own rules about General Mail pick up, only allowing pick up ONE HOUR PER DAY, M-F, during lunch hour. Doesn't matter if you go there when NO OTHER CUSTOMERS are there, they will make you come back during the one hour! Also, you are not allowed to stand in regular line for customers. You must instead form a line near an unmarked door (no signage for General Mail anywhere to be found) and wait for designated time. read more

I just got word that I have lost my medical insurance. They said they sent me several letters to our Quartszite address. Now I just had approx. 15000 dollars worth of ER care. I never received the letters because Quartszite post office did not forward them to me. I won't even stop in that city when I return to Az because of the post office. If you plan to go, please do yourself a favor and stay in another town, or at least get a p.o. Box in another town. These people should be arrested and thrown in jail for what they just did to me. read more

This place is very busy in the Winter but very courageous and helpful. A lot of these OLD people go in there every day and complain because they have to wait to get their mail. They are in a hurry to get back out in the Desert and do nothing. read more

There is only one postal employee up front for customer service and at least one in back to sort mail. Generally the front employee is stressed out. I attempted to speak with the person there today with 3 calls at different hours. No one answered the phone. I know the phone has been answered in the past, for a employee answered the phone one day when I was there. It would be helpful and I am sure less stressful if there were two employees up front helping customers. read more

This is the worst Post Office that we have ever tried to use. The workers apparently hate their jobs and were not wanting to answer any questions for information. They have 1 hr each day to get your mail without a PO Box and line was out the door! What a joke! Find another Post Office unless they get new employees!!!! read more

This place is very busy in the winter and you can an easy 45 minute wait. If you print your shipping labels you can just walk in and drop off your package. Employees have always been pleasant to me even though they are very busy during snowbird season. read more

Totally bad experience! It must suck to work there what a miserable lot! Basically you should at least like the work you it's a job! I was in the service industry for years and gave it my all! It was really cool to help people period! Avoid this place rather use Quiet Time they at least interact with customers and aren't unhappy with life! read more
