I should have read the recent reviews but I didn't. I called first thing on Monday morning and spoke with Skyler who was very pleasant on the phone. He suggested that I use their website to start service as he was waiting for toner to be delivered and therefore couldn't do the paperwork manually at that time. He advised me that after I completed the online process I would receive a response email from them the same day. I went online, completed the form, uploaded the required 2 forms of ID and I paid the $84 fee for seasonal service. After a few hours when I didn't receive the email he promised, I tried calling. The phone just went into a continuous loop or ringing, hold music and ringing again. I tried several times throughout the afternoon with no luck. I wondered if I had perhaps made a typo of my email address so I sent an email to Moon Mountain Mail inquiring about my account. I received no response to that email. On Tuesday I tried calling again several times with no luck and still no reply to to my email. On Wednesday, my husband and I drive 45 minutes to Quartzsite to see if we could get this service going. There was a man at the counter in front of us who had received notification that an expected package had been delivered. He had supplied the clerk with his box number. The clerk went to the box to check and came back to say that the package had not arrived. The man was rightly perplexed since he was looking at the tracking on his phone that said it was delivered. The clerk advised him that Moon Mountain accepts the truckload shipping which updates tracking for everything on the truck's manifest. He went on to say that it could take them 2 or 3 days to process those packages and the customer would need to check back in a few days. Since we run two small businesses, this delay in receiving shipments was concerning but I waited my turn. When it was my turn I explained why I was there. Skyler told me that it could take a few days for me to get a response to my email because he's out of toner (I didn't process that comment immediately). I asked if he could please get our account set up as we currently don't have a shipping address in AZ. He said we would need to come back later in the day. We went outside and discussed the fact that the facility is chaotic, the customers are disgruntled and the building doesn't even look set up for business. The door doesn't close, the cement stairs are deteriorating and then there was the comment that he couldn't process my email because he doesn't have any toner. We decided that perhaps we should just cancel the service before it even starts. So I went back in to let him know that I'd really rather just have my money back and never mind starting the service. I expected he would process that transaction for me, but he told me that I'd need to handle that with my bank. I didn't bother to tell him that I worked in the banking industry for 9 years and I know how this should work. I couldn't be bothered at this point. I do businesses with organizations that make customer service a priority. I told him I would do that and I did. This place is slipshod at best. How can anyone run a business when they won't answer their phone? I decided to renew my subscription after the owners moved onsite & promised me better service & they would answer their phones. Yesterday I tried for 2 hours to get someone to pick up the phone... nope. I left an email ( one of many) have never received a response. When I went to the business to see if phone number was correct... got excuses like they were 2 year olds. No apology nothing. I'm done with this place. Not worth the frustration. read more

I've had a mailbox here since 2023, I don't like using a phone so I have never had a bad phone call experience with them. My experience has been using their website to add funds, request mail forwarding, and renew my subscription. I have never had a problem using their website. My experiences have been face to face and I have never had an unpleasant experience, dealt with a rude employee, or seen any signs of arrogance there at all. Checking my mail on a bicycle one day, I discovered my portable generator was in. I told them I would have to go get my RV to pick it up, but instead they loaded my bike and the generator in to their van and delivered it for me. read more

I was on hold for well over an hour and they never picked up. Other than to immediately pickup and hang up on me. There is a chance that the connection was interrupted. They NEVER answer their phone. Although I've tried calling them many times over a period of months during their regular business hours. Their FAX number is ALWAYS busy, during regular business hours and even at midnight. I have tried their FAX number many times. They NEVER respond to their email. I have sent them many emails of the last few months and never received one reply. The NEVER respond to messages sent to them on their Facebook page. I have sent them numerous messages and never got a reply to a single one of them. All I want is to see how money I have in my account for forwarding mail. And that's another issue. Three separate times I've filled out their mail forward form on their website. And ALL three times I never received my mail. I can no longer recommend this service. After 3 years, they have doubled their prices (now $132/year) while moving to a location with zero RV/large vehicle parking. Communication is poor--no one answers the phone or emails--and their 3-day Thanksgiving closure almost cost me my deliveries. The staff is friendly, but the management decisions regarding location and pricing make it a poor choice for nomads and snowbirds. read more

Rude, arrogant, and horrible service. Lots of empty promises! Their new location is worse than the original! People get all pissy trying to get in and out of the small fenced in parking area! Silly Al's customers are not happy with mail customers using Silly Al's parking area! It's not even busy yet... I can't imagine the mess it will be in January. I wouldn't even give them one star but the review requires clicking on at least one star. Read through all these reviews and see that it isn't just a few people that can't stand the service there. When the snow birds come, these folks don't give a dam about you. It's the next person in line that they can lie to you about there service. Which is none after you sign up. This company advertises that they will forward the customer's mail to other locations. I have gotten emails from them indicating that they have received mail for me but they have failed to forward it. My voter registration card was mailed to them but I never received it. It has now been 3 1/2 weeks since they notified me that I have two pieces of mail. I've since phoned them multiple times but they don't answer their phone. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and will next file a complaint with the United States post office. Be advised, Moon Mountain Mail has a one star rating with the Better Business Bureau. I encourage anyone who is having problems with this crummy business to do the same. Filing a complaint with the BBB is a straightforward process. Filing a complaint with the United States post office can be accomplished by simply calling them. Look to their website for the appropriate phone number. Heather Anne operates an awesome US Postal mail service, especially for the traveler. I live in the Quartzsite area from September to April annually. Whenever mail is delivered, I receive an email.
