You go somewhere regularly…read more You have your drink poured by the time you get to the bar. You're in your "happy place." Your dog is living his best life, loving all the attention. One day, surprisingly, you hear rumblings about one of the owners being moderately homophobic. Noooo...that can't be true! They've always treated you kindly enough. Moving on... You spend $10 buying a tile to decorate that will get hung in the bathroom. Super gay, you paint the tile in the most rainbow fashion possible. Once you complete your tile & turn it in, the next time you come in, you're given your tile back with a note that's supposed to be from the owner, saying your tile has been ruined & they're "sorry". Amazingly...that note was written in handwriting that's not the owner but seems very similar to another bartender. If I'm wrong....please let me know. Do I get my money back? Do you ignore what happened? Do you ignore the amazingly strange occurrence re: perceived homophobic behavior? I tried to bring it up with the bartender on duty (& remedy the situation before coming to Facebook) and was told "NO WAY that could be true." This has gone from being one of my favorite places to something that brings me heartbreak At this point, it's 0/10 WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!! If I'm wrong, Beer Belly's, please let me know and I'll gladly update this review.

After walking up to the bar I ordering a beer and walked over to buy some food. After looking over the menu I decided on the smoked pulled pork nachos. I found a seat under a tented area, waited for my food, and enjoyed the live music. The place was busy. My nachos were ready in about 10 minutes and they were great. The place is dog friendly. I walked in with my dog. If you are in need of a beer or food after mineral or rock shopping this is a great place to come.

Looking online it seemed this was the only place open so I wasn't expecting much still happy to go somewhere. I was pleasantly surprised. The vibe was family-friendly in the restaurant side and just had an all around comfortable feeling. I sat at the bar and was greeted by sunshine in human form. Marsha is what customer service is all about. And the BLT I got was delicious! I always stop and do the tourist thing when driving through and now I will make this gem a must do everytime. Thanks Marsha!

The pizza was just okay, but the service attitude was extremely bad I will never come again!…read moreHere's what happened: 1. The server seated us at a two-person table that was very wobbly. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but looking back, it felt intentional. 2. We arrived at 12:45 and ordered a medium-sized pizza and one Coke. After she brought the Coke and water, we waited until 1:20. I asked another server about our pizza, and she said she would let our server know. After another 8 minutes, our server came over, expressionless, placed the pizza on the stand, and walked away without saying a word. At that point, I thought maybe she was just busy, so I didn't think much of it. But when we finished eating, my husband went to the restroom, and I got up to pay. I was looking around for our server when I saw her walking straight toward me with the bill and a plastic takeout box. Without saying a word, she placed them on the table and left. It felt incredibly rude. Now I feel like she was inexplicably rude to us the entire time, and I suspect it might be racial discrimination. Either way, I will never go back to this place!

The Range is the social circle for The Slabs (a nickname for the makeshift RV community in the…read moredesert commonly known as Slab City). It's a music venue and gathering spot for celebration/community. Essentially it's some old buses set up with a crappy stage in between with an assortment of beaten down couches and chairs for the audience to sit on. There isn't always a set schedule, and basically anyone could get up on that stage to play: so the performers can range from really good to absolutely terrible. But that's really not the point. At the heart of The Slabs, this is where you'll get to see a gathering of some quite interesting folks. They'll be people cracked out, some dancing with no cares in the world, others playing with fire. People that come here just are who they are, no matter the opinions of the outside world. It's a reflection of a very eclectic group of folks. So go enjoy yourself, but expect some interesting things out there. P.S. You're going to have to venture inside Slab City to get here (so basically the middle of the desert), so I'd suggest connecting with some folks ahead of time that can guide you around. Check out the website or East Jesus.

This is a great stop because this bar and grill are inside the casino and they constantly have great food and drinks. We stopped on a Sunday while an NFL football game was on and it was pretty busy. We were greeted by the hostess and sat down in a booth with a full view of the many screens! My wife and I decided to share the Italian Grinder, and we are glad we did. The sandwich arrived and it was two full sandwiches with fries. Each sandwich was about nine inches long and loaded with meat and the fixings. It tasted amazing. A bit messy, but it tasted really good. The sandwich is toasted the cold cuts were warm. The bar has a great selection of draft beer and spirits. There are domestic and fancy beers on tap and a few in the bottle. You'll definitely find what you are looking for. This restaurant reminded me of how casino sports bars used to be. Great food at a good price and enough to fill your appetite. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is excellent. If you are in Yuma, going through Yuma, or somewhere near Yuma, this is a great place to stop and eat or have a few drinks. This place is definitely a stop whenever we are near.
