When I woke up on Saturday I was excited because I was heading to the Quartzsite QIA Gem & Mineral Pow-Wow to buy mineral specimens for our mineral collection for our geology department at Caltech. I arrived about 10 am and found a good parking spot on the street. One of our Caltech grad students told me about the Pow-Pow so I was hopeful I would find some good samples. With my dog Frankie in tow we ventured into the show. I spent a little over 2 hours walking around the whole show. There was fossils, brand new lapidary machines, opals, cool fossilized Megalodon teeth, hand made knives with blades that were made out of obsidian, turquoise, jade and gold for sale. While I was their I found a great mineral dealer where I bought 12 minerals for our collection. Most of the Yelp Pow-Wow reviews are talking about what they bought at Quartzsite in general not at the Pow-Pow. This years Pow-Wow was only for 5 days Jan 21-25 and next years will be Jan 20 thru 24, 2027. I look forward to coming to next years show.

So I got my pieces of my project together and called Julio.we had 4 or 5 phone call and texts and set up a time and place. Julio was a NO CALL NO SHOW... So I called. julio lied again and said he had a emergency .. Then julio lied and said he couldn't do the custom hitch any longer because he didn't have a drill press to drill holes .never trust a fabrication custom welder that cannot drill holes .lol. So I sent him a picture of my drill press.lol So julio started to complain that he had to carry enough steel on his truck to build a custom hitch.wow .how much steel does it take to build a hitch ? Then julio refused to build a hitch as a bolt on application. When all after market hitches are a bolt on application. Julio tried to make excuses that bolt on hitches was unsafe.lol another LIE. It's my opinion that julio is a liar.and a complainer.hes definitely no articulated enough to build anything custom. It seems to me julio just wants to repair simple little problems. I do not recommend using julio as he is a liar.he is lazy.he complains about carrying 100 pounds of steel and he can't drill holes in steel..and he will make appointments and then pull a no call no show.and WASTE YOUR TIME.

The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
