With one other person in the store, and no one in front of me, it took the FedEx employee 5 minutes to make 40 copies. The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. Not until I was about to pay, was I informed that, because of the $ amount, I was going to be charged an additional $17.00 same day fee. What? I questioned the employee about the charge, and he gave me the option of leaving the copies behind and returning the next day to avoid the $17.00 charge! The copies had already been made, sitting on the counter in front of me... How would returning the following day, make that charge less of a requirement for FedEx? Was there a time portal that would give back time to that employee, or reprioritize me in the queue. It was done - services rendered! I paid the $17.00, it wasn't so much about the money... I was more stunned by the absurdity. Train your employees to advise me of a policy prior to the transaction FedEx, or at least empower them with common sense and the ability to override a mistake.
