This is the best post office in the city. The staff is always friendly. The hours are better than…read morethe other branches (open until 6 on weekdays, longer Saturday hours). They usually have 2 or 3 people working the counters, so the waits are much better. Post offices are made or broken by the workers. This place excels with its customer service. I've seen the employees here walk hard of hearing and elderly people through their orders in a very respectful and patient manner; that really stood out to me, because I have definitely seen the opposite. The only con is the parking--if you get lucky you can get a street spot, but generally I take the metered lot behind the Friendship Circle.

I recently had a problem, I was expecting a package coming to me before Christmas that was very delayed, so I contacted my post office, and on both occasions spoke to Dave, gave me the numbers and departments that I needed to call. The folks who work here are friendly, but the USPS understaffs this office so dismally that wait…read moretimes can be 20-30 minutes during peak hours, since there's often only one employee working at the counter. It's usually faster to walk down to the main post office, or to wait until late afternoon if you can.

She didn't reply to my hello, or my thank you, OR my have a good day. Unbelievable. This isn't the first time, either. No matter what time of day, what time of year, no matter if there is a line or I'm the only person, the people here are rude af. I utilize this office because it's close to my job.
