to the woman who works at this office, who's name begins with the letter V, and to whom claims to have had 27 years in the industry. thata is all fine and dandy, and maybe the problem does not lie with her, but with the system as a whole. all i have to say is : i have been using the USPS as a mail source connected to my small business for 20 years. i know the ropes of mailing, and have had problems with certain postal workers over the years (in various cities). the main problems being "picky" employees that love to strike the hammer down on rules and regulations, but yet upon rules and regulations that seem to matter so little in the long run. RE: UNITED STATES POST OFFICE : priority mailers, which are free to use if given the designated "priority mail" option : thanks. it clearly states on the bottom to "please recycle" - i try my best to recycle always. meaning : as i send out a lot of items NOT priority mail, i will recycle said package by blanking out the noted information. also in this regard, these are not NEW mailers, these are items i have purchased, and i am re-using these boxes. this should be easily enough understood, especially when printing off postage at home. i should not be scrutinized for recycling a package, and told to go home and use more material to cover up the entire thing. this defeats the purpose, and is a complete waste. gone are the days of real mailings. gone are the days of mail as art even. its sad to know that a system so fraught with turmoil - such as the USPS - would denounce its solid customers on frivolous nonsense. and this is NOT the only offense miss V has accused me of. she is hell bent on making my life hard when dealing there. she should be fired or given proper training. or the united states government should wake up and understand that an important part of life, and communicating, as we know it - that there are no grounds for alienating the very people who keep this mossy rock rolling. i do not want to see a world in which unaffordable (is it?) mailing is no more. yet i find it humorous that the very entity that is in tact and struggling, makes things so unreasonable and difficult. i gave up the idea of having the postal system "stamp & mail" my packages long ago, due to constant mishaps. i now print off all postage at home, yet am regaled to having to bring the "boring" packages to the post office on occasion. and if i cant even have that without a problem...??? sorry, i dont know what else to do. i suggest the government regard and re-think how much the people put into a system like this. if you want it to fail, your on the right track. see : all the problems you been having. good luck. i hate to see it go. i would love to see it grow. read more
