It has been my post office for decades but I've noticed a disturbing trend of late. This is a great post office! Hubby's LOVES this post office bc there is never anyone here and he always receives professional speedy service! There are one or two homeless people that hang around outside asking for change sometimes, but they are harmless, just give them some. It is impossible to speak to a representative at this office by phone. Tried multiple times on multiple days. Ridiculous.

Had a package get fraudulently marked "Picked up at postal facility" when I wasn't even in the state. I called for days and no one picked up - ever. Had to go in person, where a manager had a different set of tracking from what was listed online - he knew the package had not been picked up and they just returned it with no notice. I contacted the sender - they never recieved and the Post office told them I picked up. Don't bother calling - they don't have a phone in there. Also, once when I was there, there was an angry employee throwing new packages into a cart as hard as he could - literally trying to break stuff because he appeared to be frustrated because it was busy. If you care at all about your package and making sure it gets to the destination, just go to UPS. read more

Well the mail lady that delivers to 809 bloodworth ln Pensacola Fla 32504 won't even get her self out of the truck to deliver the package. The mail box is right in front of the office the ladies in the office see her pull up and she still won't get out. This is a on going problem with this lazy lady! Some people don't have a car and that's why we use the mail service, that is why there is a mail service and many other reasons. This is ridiculous and not cool. I'm going to report this to the BBB as it manager here has even spoken to the people about her and nothing has changed!! I have been trying to get this package for a couple weeks now! I DO NOT HAVE A CAR THE PACKAGE IS NOT THAT BIG THE 30 STEPS THAT SHE HAS TO TAKE IS NOT UP A HILL OR DOWN A MUDDY ROAD THIS LADY IS A PROBLEM HAS BEEN A PROBLEM! It's a typical USPS branch. Severely understaffed & simple mail takes weeks to get delivered. The branch itself is old and outdated, it badly needs a remodel. I mean honestly if they can't do any better than this maybe it should be privatized. I'll use UPS in the future. smh read more

Went in on a Tuesday around lunch time and saw a long line. Had to pick up a package, so I thought I'd wait it out. One employee was helping with fingerprints, and another two were at one window working to help someone with an issue. Slow going there for a few minutes, but then, both employees were freed up and the line moved very fast! All of the workers apologized for our wait and were quick and friendly and professional. I was out of there in 10 minutes. I also want to add that I corresponded with them via email about this package as it had to be signed for and I had missed delivery, and they got back to me very quickly and were professional and informative. Tracking said it was out for delivery at 6am and expected delivery between 10:30-2. So I came home to grab my item at 2. Looked back at tracking and now it says it's back at the post office. What?!!! So you telling me that the driver brought it back to the office without finishing his/her deliveries for the day?! Either the tracking system or the delivery driver is terrible. Great service and very respectful employees. It gets crowded a little bit but it goes pretty quick.

Came here to do passport renewal. Lady minion said she couldn't handle those. Told me to wait for a manager. Manager was doing a break. Waited 40 minutes. He finally saw me and then told me he wasn't qualified and that the only employee who could do passports was "at the bank". Typical government incompetence. I work for the socialist military and am well aware of how terrible any government run organization is. This USPS location needs to be looked into and shut down for sheer ineptitude. read more

This post office is great. But the app shows hours for Saturday as being 9am to 4pm. This is incorrect it is 9am to noon.

This location is in serious decline: the mail drop out front in the parking lot has this tattered sign taped across the front of it telling you you cannot use it. It looks ratchet. The two times I have tried to use the self service kiosk in the lobby it is slow and over charged one time and died during services this time (today). Long, slow sigh. These postal carriers are lazy and they are liers.. I've been waiting on a package all day.. Actually two.. One they say they delivered at 8:15 pm which is not here anywhere.. And the other one they said they could not deliver it for some reason.. But at the time they said they tried to deliver it I was outside on y front porch.. So not only did they lie and say they tried to deliver it but also they lied and said they delivered the one.. Thos is the worst post office I have ever delt with... Friends told me that the staff here is great. They were right! I've been here three times, mailing packages to Canada. First time I've ever sent international mail. Staff was very patient and walked me through the process. I'm so grateful for their help. read more

This is where I send and receive my packages and have never had an issue or missing or lost package like other local mom and pop shipping stores that I have tried to compare. And yes I've had to wait a few minutes but I don't mind. I'd rather that then poor customer service and attitudes. read more

The USPS is (in my humble opinion) a dying organization - long lines, government oversight, and ever-increasing competition from privately held, well run organizations like UPS, FedEx, and DHL. I'm a big fan of supporting LOCAL small businesses, so we send all of our shipping funds and fees through our local UPS Store. read more

If i could give them no stars then i would. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. With my address they are the ones that send my mail and for multiple times now they have lost my packages. I spoke to a female supervisor this morning about a package that says it was delivered THROUGH THEM but i have no package and she proceeded to be very VERY rude with me and said that they do not have letters in their tracking numbers and it was a UPS package but yet it was being shipped and tracked through their website? I ordered a package through the exact same place so it went through the exact same process and was delivered by them but not this package? They are a terrible post office and the supervisor is a very rude and terrible woman. read more

I took my mail off hold the day I got back from California. I picked up my accumulated mail & was told by the lady that Ray my mailman would be a told to start delivering mail again. it's been 2 weeks & he didn't stop today so I hunted for him He told me my mail was still on hold. I went in twice to make sure I was going to get mail delivery, I was assured it would be delivered.Now I owe bills & have a ton of mail to go through once it is delivered. I so mad Right now. The carrier for our area put my package with someone else's mail(sacred Heart) and now it got forwarded back to to Tampa. So now I have to wait 2-3 more days to receive it. My mail carrier is from the Tippin post office. I am on a first name basis with the gentleman over customer service because we have talked so much the last 3 years about my neighborhoods terrible service. Our mail carrier is horrible! I find other people's mail in the street being run over by cars. I have gotten holiday cards that have been opened. The card is there but the item that accompanied it was missing. I continue to get mail not addressed to me. Even after several calls to the post office complaining over a 3 year period. I finally decided to tape my name to the inside of the mail box with a note that says "Mail (ONLY FOR (MY NAME) and (MY ADDRESS) You would think this might help a little. Well it didn't. I am at a complete loss as to what to do now. Recently when trying to call the local number for the Tippin office. You either get a busy signal or it constantly rings. Finally someone picks up the line because you can hear people in the back ground talking. Then they hang up the receiver. In Aug. Sept. Oct. of 2017 I abruptly stopped getting a water, garbage and sewage bill. After receiving the bill for almost 3 years. I called to be sure the utility co. had the correct address and nothing had happened on their end They assured me it was not them and the bill was going out. I put in a formal complaint with the Post Master Generals office. And magically I received a utility bill in Nov. Amazing huh? Post Master General's office said someone from the Tippin office would contact me. Never happened. read more

I just went in here for the first time since I moved to Pensacola and this is the best post office I've ever been to. Usually post office workers are super rude so I absolutely dread going into a post office but the employees here were so nice. George helped me out and he was super friendly and polite!! I placed an order from a photography store in New York and my package was to be delivered by UPS surepost. UPS did their job and delivered the item to the Tippin Ave. post office. For the 3rd time this year (and it's only March) the incompetents at the post office managed to bungle a simple delivery. The tracking number states the item was delivered. Well, an item was delivered to my mailbox, but it happens to be a package from QVC for the lady down the street!!! How does this occur when the driver is supposed to scan the package and check against the address on the label? DOH! Calling the toll free number and the Nobles Station number was useless as their customer service is non-existent. I ended up going to the station is person and was told someone would call me with an update on locating my missing package. Needless to say, I wasn't ever contacted by the post office and today is Sunday when everything is closed. The sooner the post office ceases to exist the better...there are other private companies that can perform the same tasks on a much better platform! read more
