I live in Bluffton, OH. I have been having many business problems due to another government agencies, but finally got them resolved. Because I was receiving no money due to the "problems" I owed money to my clearing house that sent in claims and they wouldn't restore services until they were paid. My checking account was overdrawn, so I negotiated with my bank to allow me to use a check I had for other services rendered to cut a cashier's check to the clearing house. I sent this check Priority Mail Express, signature required, to Paramus. After all, the ads say I should trust the P.O. -- they will deliver safely and on time, etc.
Well, the delivery didn't take place on 5/11, which was when I was told it would get there. A delivery was attempted on 5/12 (Saturday, when the business in question wasn't open). It was put in "a box," but now no one can tell what box that was, or even if "the box" was at the proper address. It was entered as "signature waived" when I have the order that clearly states Signature Required.
All I have gotten from the Paramus P.O. are excuses -- a contracted service delivered it, it was marked as "waived," they don't know where it is and they can't do anything about it, the businesses are all so close together in that area, etc. I finally got a hold of the postmaster, Ms. May, who promised to call me back. Needless to say -- no phone call back, the number was busy every time we tried to call back.
In the meantime, I can't afford toner and paper anymore, my home may be foreclosed on because I can't file claims and I haven't been paid in four months, many of the claims are so far behind that I'll have to fight to get them paid. All because the Paramus P. O. couldn't be bothered to make sure they got a signature on my cashier's check. Looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one with problems.
Thanks for contributing to my business failure, Paramus P.O. read more
