It's a cute little post office, I went on a busy day at a busy time, the line was quite long but it was moving fairly quickly. I only went to send off a package and it was simple, the lady that helped me was nice and efficient. The building was clean and well kept, I like how organized it was, so easy to find whatever envelopes or items needed. read more

Very slow, 3-6 people in the back just messing around while only 1 person is trying to take care of 12 people

This location is the one that services my address. I cringe when I am waiting on any piece of mail or package coming from usps. This location has the LAZIEST delivery drivers. It is never delivered correctly. The most recent delivery was put in the wrong mailbox and now I have to make a claim and contact the sender. Packages are left all over the property or sometimes labeled undeliverable. When I went in to pick up a package. They had no idea where it was until someone went searching for it. The lady didn't even want to search for it at first. Like everybody needs to be laid off at this point (and that's saying a lot in this economy) read more

On 8/2/2024 at 11:15am I made appointment to get a new passport and the woman who was supposed to help me instead helped another person in line. I was already waiting before him and when she finally finished almost a half hour later there was no remorse and she was miserable and rude. What is the point of making an appointment if the staff is not even going to honor those times? read more

Worst post office ever....opens at 9:00...windows open, if you're lucky at 9:15....went last week to drop off a package and there was one window open and approximately 14 of us on line...I asked the clerk where all the workers were and he said...that's a management issue...I told him that it was shameful....run don't walk away from the Belden Avenue post office!!!! read more

Supposed to open at 9am but employees not open until almost 9:20am. Having no consideration for people time. Manager absolutely no help in the customer service. They talk all morning instead of being ready to provide service on time. read more

Periodically we have MAJOR problems with simple delivery. We received mail on the day of the thursday storm, yet Friday none. We were told that they couldn't complete the route and we'd receive both Friday's mail early and the the normal Saturday delivery. Yes to the early, but the late delivery was never made and then I received a text from a tracking number telling me that the delivery was not made due to "NO ACCESS TO DELIVERY LOCATION"...that, folks, is a lie. I live on a main road, have no gate, a clear driveway and immediate access to my front door. Can't wait to see what excuse I'm actually given on Monday. People who work their are rude. The proper postage stuff you need to fill out to mail stuff - is empty. No pens to write with. I have honestly never seen anything like it! When I asked for a pen - the lady acted like I was an idiot because I did not bring one to fill out the form I have to wait in line TO GET, since they didn't have any in the customer section. Yeah, I think the prior reviewer said it best....listen, here's the thing...the post office does not attract brain surgeons, however, I do not think that such a low intellect precludes the usage of common sense, but maybe I am wrong....I mean I have already written about how EZ Pass is a complete outrage.....Here's an idea post office employees.........how about expediting the customers for a change....think about something other than "putting in my time in order to get my generous pension". the post office of the US is a disgraaaacceeeeeeee..........no matter which one you visit...it's the same attitude...is it any wonder they are closing offices? There are many negative reviews for this facility but I have visited them once and just got off the phone with them now to track a package. BOTH times were excellent and my "visit" has already been reviewed. Just got off the phone with "Dee" and she was "top-shelf" handling my enquiry. Another fine experience again. read more

Came here to check times, saw negative reviews, and had to leave some love for my local Post Office! Helpful, friendly, staff. Yes, lines can be long, but show me a PO where this is not the situation. This Post Office has also gone above and beyond for regarding special delivery needs. I went to the Norwalk Post Office today to send a certified letter. Something that should have taken 5 minutes took over 30 minutes. When I got to the post office there were 6 people in front of me and two windows were open. The customers at the two windows had detailed transactions as the line did not move for almost 20 minutes. The only reason why it started to move was that a new window was finally opened. Once one of the representatives finished with her customer she closed her window and left. At that point there were 15 people on line. ridiculous. I am giving it 2 stars because guy who ended up helping me was really nice and funny. If the girl that closed her window had just stayed for 5 minutes to help cut down the line I would have given 4 stars. Considering the postal service is having such problems I find this behavior extremely disrespectful and showing of what the future of the post office holds. If the post office wants to provide service while reducing costs they could put an APC in the post office which is a self service machine. The closest APC is in Stamford on Camp Ave. read more

I've had decent experiences here so far. When the line gets long, they have someone come out asking if anyone is waiting to pick up a package, which is helpful and cuts down on the wait time. read more
