Rules and hours of pickup service counter

I've lived here 20yrs and have never ever seen this post office make an effort to provide service. Even on their busiest day of the week they have one person covering a service counter dedicated to pickups, PO boxes and mail keys. They are the king of tired, feet-dragging, "I-don't-care about you or my job" attitude, in the not-my-problem business. If you find it your misfortune to need service, bring a camping chair to sit in line, and a book or pre-downloaded movie on your phone, snacks, maybe a fan. Once their service hours are over they bolt the door and kick you out, come back tomorrow. It's worse than a Soviet food line. Today's pickup line had 26 people within 45min of opening. The only time it moved was when someone gave up the fight and left. Less than 1 star.

This post office is extremely busy during the week, and that seems to be the norm here , not just during the holidays. This location is also used to distribute house keys for newly sold homes, which may be one of the reasons it stays so packed. One thing I do appreciate is that the post office is divided into three separate sections/lines, which helps prevent regular postal business from completely mixing with other services. Even with that setup, it's still consistently crowded. There's a self service station, which helps a bit and can save time if you're able to use it. If coming to this post office then come with more than enough time, especially on weekdays or during peak seasons and hours. Plan ahead and expect a wait time if visiting this location .

This location was really busy the morning that I visited. Im not sure if this the norm on weekday morning as I do not usually have to visit USPS. Today however I had to come inside to pick up a package that was not delivered due to a signature being needed. The line stretched past the entrance so I waited maybe 30 minutes before I reached the pick up window. Please note there are two separate lines depending of what you need. If you want to be helped at the main counter and have mail to drop off pay for postage, or need passport services that's one line. But if you are simply picking up a mail, packages, or keys you want to make sure you are standing in the line that leads to the door with the window cut out.

Great service. Ariana.

Ari went above and beyond her duties to assist me and help me choose the proper shipping methods for my package. I don't usually do usps or walk in. But the few times I have. She has been amazing. She walked me through it all and showed me value in my package shipping options. It is loud and busy there. Be patient with the employees. By far the best post office thanks to Ari! The value is worth it and they had 3 lines open. One is debit only. Make sure you read your service request and payment options. Thank you for the quality service Ari.

Closed door . Very welcoming . 35min wait . No line.

Came in (there was no line) I was told to wait one second. I've been standing here for 35 minutes with no help. Now there is a very long line and they close soon. Not sure what they are doing back there. Finally someone from the counter started to help.

This location is very slow. Need more workers for the crowd. Faster workers at that. Waited for over 30 minutes to be helped.

These jokers took 4 days to deliver a package that was less than 10 miles away. Man there's gotta be other options.

These guys need a better system to help their customers. Wasted an hour for nothing and no useful information.

I have gone to this post office numerous times due to having to get a new mail lock and key…read more Although 1 out of the 5 times I went there the lines were super duper long, if you have the time to wait, it really isn't that bad. All the employees were really respectful, helpful and polite. Shout out to Tammy and Susan. I learned a lot while waiting in line. For instance, if you want to walk in for passports, you gotta go on Friday morning at 7AM because the line will be pretty long. The websites say walk in hours M,W,&F but I heard differently while there. Also make sure to have all your paperwork filled out in black ink. I also learned that if you are picking up mail at the window/blue door to the side, if it's closed, just jump into the long line as there is only one line since they are short staffed. If you are using the machine to buy stamps, make sure to look really well at the bottom dispenser or you'll miss them. If you bought a house and are there to pick up your mail keys, or you are like me, who needs a new lock and keys, be sure to bring a copy of your title, a utility bill, or lease agreement (if you are a renter). Those are the only way to obtain your mailbox keys. Since I had mine replaced, I had to pay $40 for 3 new keys and a lock. I think overall, spending time in line and watching the employees deal with customers, (some nice and some not so nice) they do a really great job. They are all very helpful but the most helpful one who I saw most of the time was Susan. She makes sure to be aware of people coming in and their needs. I like this post office and will be back again.

I approached the interaction with a positive attitude and respectful energy, but unfortunately, the experience quickly became uncomfortable due to her rude behavior. During our interaction, she raised her voice at me without justification and responded in a very unprofessional manner. After asking me the same question multiple times, she then accused me of speaking to her disrespectfully when I simply answered her question. I felt unfairly spoken to throughout the entire exchange. Customer service should include basic courtesy and professionalism, and sadly, neither was shown during this interaction. There was no effort made to be polite, helpful, or even end the conversation with a simple "thank you" or "have a good day." I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers can have a more respectful and positive experience.

Great location! Employees were friendly and it wasn't crowded…read more I came in for finger prints for a background check. Once the manager is able to come over and say it was a super quick process. The longest time was the wait for her to finish with the other patient as the other employee had yet been trained on the fingerprinting process. I would definitely come back. The owner also has a print Service and it also has really great reviews, but I haven't sent in my email for a quote. I did see a family dropping off a bunch of packages, and I can confirm that the employee that was entering their packages into the system, took his time and scanned every single one and he was careful with the packages. The manager who was assisting another young lady with a money bouquet was packing it up very neatly in the box so I would say if I needed to ship something I would definitely come here for it..

The fingerprints were time sensitive and she made sure I was taken care of. Thank you!!!

Marivac was quick and helpful sending out my 2 items. Very friendly and kind. Postal supplies were stocked and available if needed. Self service is also available at this location. I had a very frustrating experience with a BAA male clerk at the Red Rock Vista post office…read morelocation regarding a severe overcharge error by a counter clerk. My First-Class Mail International piece was weighed by the machine scale at 1.50 oz, and the customer screen correctly displayed the actual system price of $3.50. However, the clerk stubbornly insisted on manually overriding the machine price to charge me the 2.0 oz rate of $4.65. When I calmly pointed out the accurate $3.50 price showing on the register display screen, he became visibly upset, refused to check the official international half-ounce rate tiers, and dismissed me entirely. The line at this facility routinely has a 30-minute wait time, making it impossible to return to the counter to resolve disputes without wasting massive amounts of time. The printed receipt documents the math error clearly, showing "1.50oz" next to a $4.65 charge. Management needs to properly train counter personnel to trust their scale calculations and maintain professional customer service standards instead of rushing and dismissing residents. (My envelope size was 5 in x 10 in, definitely NOT a large, but he manually corrected it to a Large Flat envelope! IDK why his glasses are large-scope???)
