I went in looking for a quote on shipping something internationally. The shady guy at the counter appeared annoyed that I was there. I asked him a question about declaring it via customs, and he had no idea what I was talking about. He then gave me a quote for UPS and USPS. The USPS quote was significantly lower, and I said something along the lines of "maybe I should just go to the post office." I then asked him if he could give me a quote for DHL and FedEx, to which he responded, "Well, if you're just going to go to the post office, why would I give you a quote?" I said, "Well, I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, I'm just looking for prices." He then said, "Why would I waste my time looking up prices if you're just going to go elsewhere?" At that point, I said, "OK, thank you." and I left. I went around the corner to the post office and not only did I receive friendly customer service, the price to ship from the post office was almost $50 cheaper. I do not recommend this business at all. EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.

I spoke to my granddaughter who works for a car dealership and she recommended Fisher Shipping. Her company uses them and they have been very reliable. I reached out to them and they were extremely responsive. They were a little pricier than others but I was okay paying a bit more to get my car delivered timely and safely. They did just that! I contacted them late Friday afternoon, they picked up the car late Monday afternoon and it was delivered to my home in South Carolina early Tuesday afternoon. I couldn't ask for better service. I would recommend them highly if you need a vehicle transported.

Additionally, I asked that the "Comments" section of the Contract include terms that would require deliver of to vehicle during daylight hours to facilitate an adequate inspection; Habib agreed to do so. However, when the contact was emailed to me the agreed comments were not included. I refused to sign the Contract until the agreed verbiage was added. Habib became short, hostile and arrogant with me and canceled the shipping arrangements and I agreed that that was the best course of action. Unknown to me, my vehicle had been picked up without an executed contract in place. My vehicle arrived without incident or damage but dealing with Fisher Shipping Company was very unpleasant. Additionally, I was charged several hundred dollars extra for "Holiday Shipping" even though my vehicle was delivered 6 days prior to Thanksgiving Day. My $100k vehicle was picked up and shipped without a contract or my requested proof of insurance. Fisher Shipping Company is shady! BEWARE!

The most egregious was a $1600 refrigerated display case that they put a ridiculously undersized compressor in. I lost $100's of $ of product because it kept failing. After my refrigeration guy called them and basically told them he could not understand why anyone would put such a small unit in when it clearly said what size was needed, Ann Gillette personally agreed to pay for the correct size compressor and labor to put it in. They took back the wrong compressor and never paid for the new one - and did not refund a penny to me! The last time I called they had the nerve to yell at me that I held up their driver when he came to pick up (steal) the compressor. I threatened to take them to court, but in the end it was not worth my time. I am not a small customer, I bought thousands of dollars in equipment from them. Never again. They have no ethics.
