Update: I had dropped off a package to return to Amazon. Usually I get a notification of a credit a few hours after being scanned in. A few days had passed since dropping off this box and the tracking number didn't reflect being picked up. I went down in person (a few times, thus being closed as mentioned previously) and inquired, and also mentioned about their "random hours". The guy got heated and said a employee just died of Covid and the recent loss of a family member, in regards of them being closed. Look, I get it. But when my box is M.I.A , last placed dropped off was with you, no sign on door except for "open" and the door is LOCKED. Put up a sign " Closed until XX due to recent family death". Annoying, but people will understand. As for my box, well they apparently had many waiting too go out. Took about 10 minutes to find it. Looking at the rear counter clutter, seems like they are struggling. Small biz's struggle in Spencer, but they're going to expedite it. Now I drop @ UPS box or go to Staples. Too bad, since they are conveniently close. read more

I'm only giving one star, because zero is not an option. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced in all of my years. I went in looking for a quote on shipping something internationally. The shady guy at the counter appeared annoyed that I was there. I asked him a question about declaring it via customs, and he had no idea what I was talking about. He then gave me a quote for UPS and USPS. The USPS quote was significantly lower, and I said something along the lines of "maybe I should just go to the post office." I then asked him if he could give me a quote for DHL and FedEx, to which he responded, "Well, if you're just going to go to the post office, why would I give you a quote?" I said, "Well, I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, I'm just looking for prices." He then said, "Why would I waste my time looking up prices if you're just going to go elsewhere?" At that point, I said, "OK, thank you." and I left. I went around the corner to the post office and not only did I receive friendly customer service, the price to ship from the post office was almost $50 cheaper. Horrible service, this business claims to be a UPS shipping station, I went in with an email from UPS that had a code to scan to print a label, this would seem to be a pretty standard situation for a UPS shipping station. The very shady guy at the counter had no clue what it was, refused to even try to scan it, and was extremely rude about it. First and last time going there. I didn't have a barcode on my packaged. The person helping me said they could print it out for me for two dollars. I said, "I'd be back." No big deal right? I picked up my package and as I was walking away the person NOT waiting on me yelled, "Ok, buh bye, LEAVE!" This person clearly has problems. I've also noticed on here they seem to have a specific kind of target. Then to see the owner responding on here with excuses. The lady that got called the police on her. Contact me. I'll be a witness at what kind of abusive games I've seen played. "Was told to leave 19 times!' I was "told" to leave at least 9 times as I was walking to the door. I hope you get a lawyer and sue. I came in on march 28, 2024 to send out a package. It is now May 12, 2024 the package has been in the building for 46 days. Shipping label was created day one and then the package never left the building. I've called the store number no answer, emailed 2 different emails with no answer, and I have gone in person 3 times only to find a locked door. At this point I just want my package back so I can send it off myself. This is unacceptable. Read the other reviews, this happens a lot. Avoid this place, pay a couple extra bucks for reliability. read more

DO NOT GO TO THESE CLOWNS. Went at noontime on 5/9/24 to ship an item, store door was locked but had a sign taped to the door "plumber working" with a phone number listed, which I called while standing in front of the store. I called and was told by the plumber, "store hours are hit or miss, nobody is here to help you." Got back to the office to schedule an appointment to have my item shipped, told the jackass who answered what the plumber told me and laid into me about that not being true. I told him yeah sorry, that is not what I experienced. With that he hung up. I called him back and asked him if he treats all his customers this way. I guess I should have checked the other reviews first as the answer to that is yes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "BUSINESS." I would walk my item to Vermont before I gave these idiots a dollar. read more

I just read Craig's review ( the one prior to this) and my excess close to identical but worse. I was returning a fishing pole and ups-ed it from here. Gave the address and my information and the package was never arriving. when I finally went back to find out what was going on I was exploded on by the owner for not having a mask..... well after the mandate was over. Also was told a family member was dieing from Covid. It was discovered that he put the wrong zip code becaue he put the wrong town. Also the return address was to himself. I found that out after receiving the prop pole back from the vendor. But this experience was a nightmare and I'm always disappointed when my UPS packages don't fit in the drop box in the center. This business was closed during its "open hours" for starters. When they finally opened, the clerk had someone on speaker phone ranting nonstop about politics. The clerk just threw a form at me and then a box and went on with his caller. When I completed the form, he gave me a receipt and threw both the box and the form to the side without looking at it, never hanging up with his ranting buddy. I asked for prices on different delivery options and he said he couldn't give me any. Turns out he also gave me the wrong form -- the box was going to St Thomas and he should have given me an international air bill. Instead of 2 day delivery to St Thomas, FedEx sent it back to the office on the FedEx account I was using, which is in VA and there they had to re-do the whole thing. The item was needed last week and it will be a week before it finally gets there, putting my own job at risk. Extremely poor customer service at this place. FedEx should pull their service from these people. Do not go there. read more

This is the first negative review I have ever written due to the fact that I like to point out people's pros instead of cons, but my experience at this business has absolutely required it. If I could give this business zero stars I absolutely would. The man that answered the phone gave me a serious attitude when I very nicely asked for prices on boxes not knowing how many he had. After yelling at me to proceed to Walmart or Lowes for boxes because of my "ridiculous question over the phone" he then hung up on me. When my friend (the one needing the boxes) and I then proceeded to go to the store to instead see prices in person I was told immediately to "get the f*** out of his store" due to completely inaccurate statements he claimed I said. After being screamed at, insulted, threatened, aggressively approached, and told that he was going to physically assault me numerous times the police were contacted. They informed me that issues like this have happened with him on numerous occasions. The cops even suggested to me that I should not use this business because of all the problems he has caused before me as well as what he did to me. Bottom line, I 110% DO NOT recommend this business. Pay the extra at a bigger store or anywhere else, and trust me when I say just stay away! read more

The worst. Dropped off my packages 10 days ago and they still have not left the store, have to try to get them back to drop them off at usps myself. Hours are supposedly till 7pm but rarely open when I've stopped most days, same for 3 others ive talked to about this place. The guy was barefoot disheveled laying on an unmade futon with dog in the messy area behind the counter when I came in. The man told me my packages hadnt been picked up by usps yet and they would be leaving the next day. The next day, my packages still weren't sent and the store was closed when I stopped in, all lights on, I called repeatedly and no answer. I stopped at the post office and they told me that the store was closed every day they'd stopped to pick up in 3 weeks and that he was not allowed in the local post office for causing disturbances in the past. I thought this was a good option for sending my packages within the different businesses, all in one place, but has proven to be a bad choice. 0 stars. Do NOT recommend!! read more
