So everyone has reviewed this post office as really terrible, so I feel like the kid raising their hand in class, reminding the teacher of their homework....but I love this post office. The guys are always so happy! Always cracking jokes and making sure that people get in and out quickly. I love coming in and seeing them every week when I mail books to various people. I've been to other post offices, and they all basically would rather walk on coals than be at their jobs. Not here. I'm not sure if it's because their training center is right down the road....but if it is--keep it up! read more

Went to USPS to drop off an item I sold online as I've done multiple times. I noticed they only had priority tape available in the main area. So I asked for some tape. SHE SAID "you can buy our tape or go home; tape it and bring it back". She had two plain rolls of tape next to her and couldn't even spare two pieces for meds So my typical in and out trip turned into driving to the other side of town to a UPS where they gave an actual label pouch to put on my package. Leave it to a federal employee to refuse to give something as simple as a piece of tape. read more

I had to run in and grab a package that was undeliverable to my address, the person helping me was Miles. He was very funny, friendly and energetic. He has excellent customer service skills and a great attitude. He was very helpful in finding out information concerning where my package was and how to get it delivered to my address! read more

I really enjoy my experience at this USPS. Everyone is kind and helpful. Sometimes I do have to wait about 15-20 minutes, but as someone who has to ship items weekly, it's incredibly easy. I have in fact heard bad things about their passport office, but our personal experience with the passport office was quick and easy. read more

I came in to drop off some keys. Went to Tiffany at the front and I was instructed by her to go to the side and add the addresses to my package, and that is understandable since I simply did not know that was a requirement prior to going to the desk. However, Tiffany then abruptly left for lunch without letting me know. While it may be common sense to ask another desk clerk if she would be coming back, the place was packed and it was not practical to disturb the flow of traffic to ask a simple question. I find it very annoying that she couldn't be honest with me and just tell me to go to the back of the line or say that another clerk would wait on me to finish. I waited for a solid 13 minutes until I asked the other lady who had finally caught a break. It's very embarrassing. Tiffany was also very unprofessional. I normally don't write bad reviews but it got under my skin. And while I do my best to be unbiased about these problems, I couldn't find a way to forgive her for her actions. Even if she feels like she is not obligated to let me or anyone know of her schedule, her peers should have known as well to mitigate any problems. read more

The worst experience ever!! You have to wait in line of course only to get to the counter and the attendant rudely tells you that you haven't addressed it correctly and he makes you go to back of the line again to do it over and there are no labels and nothing to address a package there are no supplies or anything. No wonder the USPS is going bankrupt!!! read more

By far the WORST customer service experience I have EVER encountered...and I've lived in Boston! 1 Star is 2 stars too many for the Norman Post Office. Service is slow, employees CLEARLY hate their jobs and those they serve, and fail to answer questions you may have. I have also witnessed employees yell at individuals present for service. My first experience (and sadly not my last) I asked if they had a package because I had not yet filled out my change of address form. They emphatically told me they didn't. After urging for them to check, the woman returns and SURPRISE has my package. I do not find it absurd to simply expect you to do your job; you don't even have to be polite while doing it. I have gone out of my way to use post offices in other towns to avoid this one. read more

Went in to send a letter and get stamps. Tall African American with grey hair and an obnoxious chuckle was HORRIBLE!!! First off he was rude to the elderly woman in front of me. He was complaining of her choice of payment, eventually forcing her to dump out her coin purse. After she did what he wanted he raised his voice at her for getting to much change out. He was also making comments about how he has snapped people's necks, which is inappropriate and frightening. When it was my turn he was very rude and mean because I did not do what he thought I should of done. I ended up just walking away, as I did that he laughed at me. I wish I knew his name so I could submit a formal complaint. read more

The worst post office in Oklahoma, by far. I've never experienced customer service done so poorly and unprofessionally. USPS need to hire a more experienced staff that can work quickly and efficiently while exceeding customer's needs. The passport side of it is out of date, besides the point, poorly managed. The employee, or lady that works in that office can care less while customers wait outside the door unaware of how long the wait might be as it is in an inconvenience for families who wait out the door with their children only to be turned away after waiting for close to an hour to be told "Well, there's a sign out the door that tells you what to do" in a belittling behavior that neglects customer satisfaction. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS POST OFFICE, THE DRIVE ELSEWHERE IS WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY. read more

Terrible carrier service. After talking to my neighbors, they are having the same problems, 1) No mail for days 2) lots of mail at once with different post marks ranging from 2 days to 5 days. 3) Neighbors exchanging mail because its delivered to wrong address 4) Mail that never arrives, even after sent out repeatedly 5) mail is not consistent, may come as early as 9 and as late a 5. 6) Going out mail sometimes takes 3 days to pickup. Once saw two carriers arguing loudly on our street about whose route it was. After talking to each other, we decided to call in to the post office. Never got to talk to anyone after pressing number for carrier issues, recording insisted on a tracking number. Pressed number for a call back call. Almost an hour later, received a call back. Unfortunately, there was no one on the other end. Listened to dead air for 4 minutes. I have always received excellent service in the past. In other cities, both small and large. Norman does not even deserve one star. I was being generous. read more

It's getting better. It seems there is a new manager, they are friendly now, and they are very helpful. We will see. In the last years, this post office wasn't even able to deliver mail to their area on a reliable basis. Sometimes, the mail just gets returned to the sender "because they think we moved". When we forward mail during vacations, they just started delivering again "because there was a new mailman". They even randomly started forwarding mail in the middle of the year "because someone had forgotten to take down the notice about forwarding" there months earlier! read more
