So slow. I just need them to scan and take my package I'm not sure why a trip here takes more than 30 minutes.

My package was wrongfully delivered to their post office and tried calling to tell them to…read moreintercept the package as i live in another state and not new jersey and the didn't answer not one time this is truly stressful

I used to loathe, loathe, loathe going to the post office. I would either just send things via UPS…read more(super expensive) or print out a label online, which wasn't really cost efficient when I was shipping books and dvds, which can be sent cheaply via media mail. I have found myself selling more and more books and the like, and I am SO HAPPY that the local post office is so great. I've never had to wait any longer than 5 minutes at this place (I do go either from 10-12noon or 2-3pm if that helps), and all the postal workers who man the counters are so nice. EACH ONE OF THEM- there is a funny guy, tall, and very friendly, another one named Anthony who gave my friend a pair of sunglasses that had been left in the post office for months. There is also a newer guy (I had him one time while he was training) a middle-aged Asian man, who is very nice and an older woman. I need to look at names!! Everyone is so nice and friendly and aren't snippy and impatient with you and will answer all your questions. It's hard to work in service industries (trust me I know!) especially when you have to deal with a service that isn't as popular as it used to be (when was the last time you got a letter?), but I just wanted to give a big shout-out to the staff at this North Brunswick Post Office, because they have made every trip a pleasant experience each time I go to send some stuff.

Rutgers Post Office - The Busch Campus Post Office

Rutgers is a great university. However the support staff at Rutgers that runs many essential…read moreservices is severely lacking. This is an excellent example of a service that is highly disappointing. The post office on Busch campus was recently renovated to put all the mail boxes outside with a silly computerized system. So you have to retrieve your packages outside from a weird computerized locker system, in the snow/rain/blistering heat depending on the season. Take your pick. Outside of that disservice, the post office closes at 3 and breaks for lunch at 11 until 12. By breaks for lunch, I mean totally shuts down. So they work from 8 until 11 and then 12 to 3. 6 hour work days must be nice. As I write this review I'm considering dropping it down to 1 star, but to me that is reserved for terrible offices at Rutgers like Parking. The postal branch is better than Parking, but not by much.

Had my first experience with the Post Office on Livingstone campus today and I will not go back. If…read moreyou want to mail a package (or anything larger than a regular envelope), you are directed to a touch screen machine. You can only send things with a Piscataway return address and there is no help available for you if the machine does not recognize the address you enter. I messed around with it for a while and finally left and decided to mail my package from somewhere else. This is pretty ridiculous- I'm faculty at Rutgers and my office is in the building next door to this post office- I should be able to mail things from this post office! Lots of people are on this campus who do not actually live in Piscataway- of course we are not all going to have a local return address. I don't understand why this post office is set up this way- usually you can just go to the counter at a post office and a person there will help you mail your package without much hassle. The way things are set up here, it will ONLY mail something if it has a Piscataway return address, the machine doesn't seem to recognize other campus addresses, and there is no other option for you if those things aren't working.

He even called the postal service there to find it! She gave me attitude when I rang the bell for service after I heard her in the back room talking loudly and in 'hood lingo on her cellphone. There was no one else in the lobby and I stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes and rang the bell twice. Another time she gave me attitude and a nasty response when I asked her about where a return receipt of a certified letter should be placed on an envelope. She barked at me, "Do you work here?! I know where it goes!" That did it for me! The next time I went to that post office and saw her standing behind the counter, I turned right back around and walked out! I drove to the post office in Highland Park and will continue to do so from now on!!
