My PO box was closed by a clerk at the post office without providing proper and required notice. In fact she said I should know when and how much to pay for my box rental since I was given a receipt the last time I paid my box rental! That was a year ago! She didn't think it was her fault for not giving notice of rental due (that is a duty of her position per the clerk in the Seabrook PO where I opened a new box that same day). Plus the windows at the entrance are coated with a thick layer of dirt. The words 'wash me' are on the windows... Perez is pretty good, Kunta, not so much. read more

My favorite USPS in this area. Really friendly and efficient service. I have used them to ship to return online purchased items, purchased stamps, purchased tape and boxes, mailed gifts. I've been here four times, once at closing, and even when they are overwhelmed, the two ladies that I see here all the time are kind and informative and doing their best even though they have very little support. I had a post office box here for my business. Checks went missing on multiple occasions ... one check sent to me certified showed up in a completely unsealed envelope with just the box number handwritten on it. I guess they got it out and realized it had a chip! I placed orders to close the box and forward my mail and it took four visits to get them to even close the box. (Thanks Ms. Mary who finally took a minute to look it up in their system and figure out what was happening; no one had bothered to mark my box "closed". ) My mail never has been forwarded, even though I paid extra to extend the forwarding. Every time I went in, I just got some BS song and dance from the clerks. The customer service was never great but this was next-level. Stay far away from this USPS branch. read more

Used to have great service. But I mailed 2 packages on 1/6/24, and the tracking on one shows that it is only in Missouri City TODAY, on 1/12/24. But worse, a box of items sent to my kiddo in another state says it's STILL AT THIS LOCATION! No wonder the federal government has to subsidize this rediculously inefficient entity--this level of service would NEVER make it in the private sector. WHERE IS MY PACKAGE?? read more

Don't trust this post office. I went here to return some retail items I purchased online using a QR code provided by the vendor. The post office is supposed to scan the code, print a label an put it on the package, then send it out. The lady scanned my code, but when I checked the return status using the tracking number provided, the status shows they never received the package. I went back in to inquire and the woman at the counter was absolutely no help and said it was my fault because I lost the receipt. Do not trust the USPS. They are thieves and you won't be able to find anyone to help you. They don't care at all and are extremely rude. They'll steal your packages. read more

Not really the best location. We live in an apartment and because our management doesn't have package lockers we typically don't receive our packages. I've given an extra star for the few times they've made exceptions(like when I called about maternity clothes when my car was in the shop.) but I do hope either this office or the apartment fixes this soon, because it's one of the biggest reasons I'm moving out to a different location. read more

This is the ONLY post office I go to in the area, because it is a HOUSTON post office. Therefore, mail goes out immediately and doesn't have to be processed through downtown like other suburbs' mail does. This means your mail gets to it's destination 1-2 days sooner! There are usually lines around lunch time and on saturday mornings, avoid those peak times. They also have a drive through mail drop across the street in the old Arlan's parking lot, and I believe they pick up 4-5x a day. read more

This is a pretty small post office, but it's definitely the one to hit up in the Clear Lake area because it's actually in the city of Houston - mail sent from here always gets to its destination a day or so sooner! I haven't met a worker here who wasn't friendly and helpful. And they are always very patient with me as a try out every size of flat rate box and pack my packages right at the counter. :) read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is the Post Office to use in the Clear Lake area due mainly to the fact that it's a Houston Post Office. As such, mail can skip one day of sorting generally. In addition, if you're mailing to another Houston address, I've never seen something sent from here not show up the next day. Another reason that I like this Post Office compared to others in the area is that it's currently open the longest. Often, I try to get to the Post Office after work if I need to mail a package, and the fact that this one is open until 5pm (versus 4:30 in Seabrook, Kemah, etc) makes this a little easier to get to. Service seems to be hit or miss, but that's the case at every Post Office. I have gotten a few exceptionally friendly people while here, which is always refreshing. read more

Usually this post office is polite and efficient. It's not the closest one to me but was worth the drive. However, today Monday, April 27, 2020, at 1:50 PM there was a woman working behind the counter that was rude and snarky. I am shocked because every other person I have dealt with (and I've been coming here for years) has been nice. I guess there are bad apples every where. I will think twice before coming here again. Lets start by stating i do not care for visits to the post office, no matter of where it may be located. It just seems like such a messed up system, and I would rather patron the likes of fedex or ups. But, and its a bigggg but, this little hidden gem of tax payers' services is actually quite pleasurable. I think because of its tucked away location in Nassau Bay, that few people know of its existence. I'm probably going to regret writing this review as it will only contribute to the branch's popularity. Alas, they should be recognized as the only government agency I visit where you are treated like a human being with patience and compassion. Simply put, the staff are helpful and friendly, and probably the least likely to "go postal" on patrons and co-workers alike. This is the only place I'll visit for USPS concerns. This is our neighborhood's post office so we use it often. Every time we've been helped by Perez, who is a super friendly guy that is helpful in every way. My SO has had to mail a few small items and I needed help knowing how to mail books cheaply but safely so they wouldn't be damaged. He helped me pick out the best options and explained the tracking process, too. We count ourselves lucky to have such a good post office! read more
