UPS took a package here when they could've gone to either actual UPS stores closer to my home. Have tried to pick up twice. Not open when they say they are open! How can USPS FedEx UPS DHL and customers trust them? Front lobby (which I supposed to be open 24-hrs) was even closed. Clerk didn't apologize for opening 20-min late; just said he lives in (west side of town city). Too bad I can't support this local business if not reliable. read more

This is my 3rd visit here and each time they try to overcharge me or charge for accepting a prepaid package. Not to say the place is completely horrible. They're dog friendly (at times, there is a 300 lb. poodle that likes to sniff at the customers groin and buttocks) The money I have saved by walking out the door with my package and taking it somewhere else has provided extra monies for food and housing. They have lost my mail on multiple occasions and are totally unconcerned about it. I have tried to talk to them about it and they just say "we don't have it" despite the fact that I have proof of delivery from the person who sent it. Her dog for one thing is a very sweet poodle rescue who rarely gets up off his blanket behind the counter and I cannot envision either Virginia or Clay being rude to anyone ever as they are naturally nice and helpful folks. read more

Shows as a UPS drop off but refused to take package unless i paid them a "drop off fee" ....for a prepaid package. Don't waste your time.

I have had a virtual mailbox at Nassau Postal for the past 18 months and have been very pleased with the service. Each week, they send me an email with scans of each piece of mail I received. When I am ready to have it sent to me (usually every month), they send it priority mail and I get it a day or two later. Virginia, the owner, is a peach to work with. They are trustworthy and dependable. Very highly recommended. read more

Nice folks and very helpful. I read that some people give them a one star just because they charge for drop-off. What they fail to realize is that, for sure, UPS was charging them to pick-up. They are a small business and margin is narrow so they have to pass the pick-up fee to the person who drops off. That simple. If it saves me a trip to a drop-off point or a trip to League City, then I'll gladly pay the $1 fee. My time is more valuable than getting stuck in traffic. Requires you to pay a fee in addition to postage for dropping off your UPS packages. Which, as I understand it, is against the contract they have with UPS. It's only a dollar, but to me it was the principle. I walked in with my arms full of packages and three little kids in tow, only to be told they would not take my packages if I didn't pay them a dollar. Really?? I didn't have my purse on on me, my hands were quite literally full, I did not want to trek back out to the car for a dollar especially when I already paid my postage! Needless to say I went back to my car and went to another store. League City Shipping and Business Center was happy to take all of my packages and even offered my kids a free sucker. Excellent customer service provided by both Virginia and Clay, I have had the opportunity to do business with Nassau Postal since 2012 and have never had any complaints as they are extremely knowledgeable on all things pertaining to shipping and mailing and have even saved me quite a bundle when advising me on delivery times and efficiency. It is unfortunate to read reviews posted by an abundance of delusional narcissistic folks who don't vaguely comprehend the cost of actually running on a small business, this is a PRIVATELY OWNED MAIL SERVICE, IF you want long slow lines facilitated by grumpy disgruntled employees who lack the requisite skills in efficiently packing your precious China from your 1st marriage to your children across the world, then by all means visit your local post office. Beware!! Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. I went to the Office Depot next door to drop off a UPS package; unfortunately they arent a drop off/pick up site but recommended Nasa Postal. I walk in and tell the lady i have a UPS package to drop off. She tells me there is a $1 fee because UPS contract charges her $25/week. I find it absolutely ridiculous that this place charges you to drop off a package. I have NEVER had to pay to drop off any package! Told her I had no change on me, went to my car and left. Very shaddy business in my opinion. read more
