Lived in the area 12 yrs. and the situation is worsening. My mail is often jammed into my 5 inch box destroying critical info. on the label. And yes I check my box everyday. I often receive neighbor's mail. My grocery flyers are ALWAYS late. Didn't receive any flyer this week. Ironically ALL my utility bills are delivered on the same day. I go 2-3 days receiving no mail then on the 4th day I receive 25 pieces of mail {I counted}. Often mail is delivered very late in the day like 6 pm including Saturdays. Recently there was a rash of vandalism done to the drive-up mailbox in front of the bldg. Twice my mail was stolen. I am very disappointed that a government facility is so poorly managed. read more

This US Post Office in Morrisville, PA is about par for the course for an aging government facility. Parking in front. PO boxes to the right and services to the left upon entry. Queue of patrons longer than it should be at 1:30 in the afternoon, but only one guy working the counter until another co-worker got off lunch, an no postmaster in sight to address the service shortage. Still, when my turn, the dude was friendly and attentive. He helped me out with the request for commemorative stamps for the office mail. Even made suggestions to be sure I saw everything. All the stamps were the forever variety; a big plus. Purple Heart, military service metals, team sport balls and Janis Joplin peaked my fancy. Janis?! Somebody in the institution really appreciates rock history. Thinking of framing those. The place needs better lighting and a way to bring help to bear when it is busy, yet no major complaints given I was in and out in under 10 minutes. read more

This is my local post office. I receive and send post here. First off I was not gettin my mail and bills for some reason.. Then I'd get a pile of overdue bills as if they stock piled em an decided to give it to me as thou they had an agreement with companies to ruin my credit for some sort of commission!! After going up there several times an complaining I finally got that on track (sometimes).. Then I have a problem with parcel deliveries.. They would stuff, sorry, cram (see pic) parcels in box, enough to damage some, and then would leave other mail @ management office an inform em that they left notification on my door. Never seen any notice unless it was UPS or Fedex.. Now what these people fail to realize is that technology is fast taking over there jobs, so I find it hard to feel extremely bad (hate 2 c anyone lose their livelihood), but how can I care if u don't give a damn bout me.. read more

You know, so if I come in after hours (which is when I like to visit you and your kind) and want something to go out as early as possible, I can drop it in there. Most all post offices have them... I mean, you have the automated mail machine for weighing and posting packages, which is great, but your answer to a mail slot for regular mail inside is a big blue mailbox you normally see on the corner? And I read the label - they don't even pick up from that box until 1pm? WTF? It's *inside* the post office. How hard would it be to collect that mail first thing every morning? I have a hard time giving you a bad review because I haven't had anything but super friendly service from the clerks here, but its hard to give a glowing review because its so slow- no matter what time of day it seems. But the truth is, I generally walk out of this post office with a smile of my face, sooo... I guess I would give this advice to anyone who needs a flat-rate box- call and make sure they have what you need in stock before going to pick one up. I have been in business as a sole proprietorship for over 10 years, and the USPO at Morrisville has been an essential business partner. All of my clients pay by paper check in the US Mail as do I when paying contractors, and in 10 years I've never had a receivable or payable payment get lost in the mail. I've had two examples of a known delay (over a week) in delivery. That is against an estimate of 3,000 individual transactions over that period. I find that record of performance to be remarkable and contrary to 'conventional wisdom' regarding the performance of the USPO. read more

Generally meh. Service can be VERY slow and some of the clerks are snarky. Use the automated postal center if at all possible. Parking can also be problematic-try not to go during peak times if at all possible. read more

I have to say I'm so impressed with the customer service from the Morrisville PO. I called earlier that I could not get into my mailbox due to the lock breaking and the gentleman I spoke with told me to call back and he would take care of me. The day got away from me and I forgot to call. He showed up at my house with new keys and made sure my lock worked tonight. I am so amazed. To this man at the Morrisville PO I am truly grateful and I wish I knew his name. Please make sure he sees this because that is an amazing person. Thank you. read more

Very grouchy employees. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter about a prepaid AT&T package that needed to go out and needed to be tracked. He scanned it and said it had the wrong barcode. It's a prepaid tag from AT&T. I was telling him that AT&T said he had to scan both bar codes and he rudely cut me off and said I could go talk to someone else about it. Very rude! So I got in line again and talked to a lady and she said yes it could be mailed but I couldn't track it. At least she tried to help me. The guy acted like he was irritated just to talk to me. Horrible! I've heard the horror stories about the Morrisville post office but today experienced it first hand. Went in about 3pm to the machine in the lobby to buy stamps. Put in my debit card. Hit "purchase stamps" and it said this service was not available at this time. Then there was no way to get my debit card back. No way to hit something like "cancel" or "end" I started hitting buttons, nothing. I was afraid to go too far from the machine, lest my card pop out. So I went just inside the door to where the line to the counter is and said, very politely, "Excuse me? Excuse me. Your machine ate my card. Can someone help me?" Al 3 people working ignored me. I said excuse me again. All the people in line saw and heard me, but the employees ignored me still. I said "am I invisible or something?" Some people in line chuckled. I went back out, rang the service bell near the machine. Nothing. Knocked at the door, rang again. Nothing. It's now been 10 minutes. I rang, and rang, and rang, and rang. Finally a guy came out, completely rude. I said that he and everyone ignored me. He smiled and said "yes we sure did!" I asked if he was joking and he said "I'm sure not!" smiling. I said Wow, you really have terrible customer service here. He said "yes, that's just terrible, isn't it? (smiling)". I said hey, why don't you patronize me a little more?" He said "Thanks, I will." He went about fiddling with the machine. I said there really should be a sign saying this machine was out of order, before people put their card in. He smiled his artificial smarmy smile and said "hey great idea, I might just do that." I was almost speechless. I said is this how you really treat customers he said yes, we do! Finally got my card ad he artificially smiled and said "have a nice day!" I said, wow, it must be great not having to care about proper customer service when you're unionized and people have nowhere else to go like in any private business, where they can take their business elsewhere. He smiled and said "yes, it is! Have a nice day!" I don't even know how to begin processing this interaction!!! And I still didn't get any stamps! I'm not even sure why I bother posting this on Yelp--it's not like USPD cares about feedback. read more

I live on DELMORR AVE. Ever since they got Rid of ALEX.My OTHER Mail couriers SUCKS!!! They come LATE They Don't put my mail in the right place or I don't get any mail (So I assume) and few days later My neighbor gives me my Mail. It's not the same anymore. So far there has been 4 different mailman since ALEX left or You guys Transfered him. He was one time knew everyone was polite and spoke to you with a smile Said HI (not these others). Ohhhhh and they give me the wrong mail all the time. Look I don't work there but its not my job to chase them down and give them back mail that doesn't belong to me... Service at this post office has been nothing but a nightmare. There is a particular older male clerk who works often and he is rude and unhelpful. No one WANTS to be in line at a post office, and he just makes it worse. His attitude is deplorable. While waiting in line, he told us that if we complained enough about the passport services, they'd stop all together so that that man could be up front where he's "supposed to be" and that WE take up all their man hours. Seriously? Then when it was my turn he told me everything was wrong and how could I "not understand the label doesn't match the box" (I was following directions from an online shop) ...he couldn't be bothered to help and explain to me what to fix.
