We were visiting the USPS in Levittown, PA, for an appointment to apply for a new U.S. passport for my spouse who had just become an American citizen. The process to that point was done online. When we arrived there was a family in front of us, so we used the time to complete the passport application before the meeting with the woman who was to handle the job. It went quickly, and the postal worker was well trained and dealt with us in a friendly manner. We were finished in about 20 minutes and also had the needed photos taken and the costs addressed. Because they are actually doing this passport work for the State Department, there was a bit of bureaucratic delay in needing to purchase a money order to pay for all this, rather than just pay with a credit card. In fact, credit cards were not allowed. Luckily, they accepted debit cards, personal checks and cash. Seemed a bit antiquated, but all's well that ends well. We have a 7 week wait until the passport arrives. P.S. as with most government agencies, they use cheap pens that don't work well filling out little boxes on long forms. So, I used my own to get the job done. On completion, I gifted the pen to our interlocutor so she would have an easier time with future applicants. She was very pleased with the new tool, and promised to keep it safe. Happy to improve her day! read more

This place needs to be investigated. I filed a change of address and it was approved. I was expecting 3 important pieces of mail ALL OF WHICH WERE DIRECTLY ADDRESSED TO MY NEW ADDRESS. Meaning that there should be no delay. These pieces of mail were all from highly respected companies. The DMV, Bucks County Assistance, and the IRS. A check for multiple thousand dollars, my drivers license and my EBT card. A drivers license takes 10 days to arrive (it's been 13), an EBT card takes 5-7 days (it's been 12), and a check takes 4 weeks (it's been 3 weeks and 1 day, I'm certain it won't arrive). I received EVERY OTHER PIECE OF MAIL. Even the forwarded mail! They are playing me for an idiot and making me feel as if I'm losing my mind. Where in gods green earth is my mail and why is it only important mail that could cash a check????? This place needs to be shut down or investigated at the very least. I've been up there every day and I'm headed up there now. I'll do this every day until my mail is located read more

Lionel gives fast and friendly service. The line moved very quickly. I was able to get my stamps and mail stuff immediately. It's quiet and tidy inside. Stocked with all the supplies one would need. Cute HALLMARK cards too! read more

I am getting so disgusted with the Levittown local post office. Are they not being trained properly or are they just lazy? I live in a building that is UNLOCKED and get a notice that the carrier has no access. WITHIN ONE MINUTE of getting the status update, I go out and check--there is noting obstructing the entrance or stairwell and there are no cars parked in the fire lane. They had access. It was raining and poor pookie didn't want to get wet. Last time it was my mother's meds and the carrier swore up and down that he delivered them to us--only for him to bring them later that day because the kind person to whom they were misdelivered had returned them to the post office. read more

This location sucks! I called them last week to track a package that was supposed to be delivered to me by the 17th of the month. "we don't have your package. All out bound mail stays on the dock. Probably the Philly hub never scanned the package." All a big lie. The scan shows Philly getting the package after sitting in this location for 13 days. Surprise, the package finally makes it to my place over 2 weeks late. The post office sucks big time. I recommend using FED EX or UPS over this idiots any day! read more

Finally after 3 years of contending with massive potholes in their parking lot, it has been totally repaved. Thank you. As for the post office most times going in to mail something special it can be backed up. Lately the staff has realized this and started having more people working the front counter. This is a hub post office so mailing from here speeds your package. Loads of post office boxes here. Nice staff overall. read more
