The male staff who work there is friendlier. The line can get long, like most post office. They open 8am but don't open the door until 8:05am. Still go 10 minutes early since there are a few people waiting at the lobby for the door to open.

The process to that point was done online. When we arrived there was a family in front of us, so we used the time to complete the passport application before the meeting with the woman who was to handle the job. It went quickly, and the postal worker was well trained and dealt with us in a friendly manner. We were finished in about 20 minutes and also had the needed photos taken and the costs addressed. Because they are actually doing this passport work for the State Department, there was a bit of bureaucratic delay in needing to purchase a money order to pay for all this, rather than just pay with a credit card. In fact, credit cards were not allowed. Luckily, they accepted debit cards, personal checks and cash. Seemed a bit antiquated, but all's well that ends well. We have a 7 week wait until the passport arrives. P.S. as with most government agencies, they use cheap pens that don't work well filling out little boxes on long forms. So, I used my own to get the job done. On completion, I gifted the pen to our interlocutor so she would have an easier time with future applicants. She was very pleased with the new tool, and promised to keep it safe. Happy to improve her day!

I know that this specific post office isn't to blame for all of my packages, BUT USPS blames Covid for its delays. I stopped at this location to drop something off and neither employee was wearing a mask behind the counter. I hate wearing a mask myself. But everyone else in the country is wearing them, they could at least try to care about their job. UPS, FedEx and every other company that has been working through Covid has learned, adapted and changed things within their company to become efficient. EXCEPT FOR USPS. They don't hire more employees, they don't hire temps, and they don't change policy's. But I'm sure they'll raise their prices and expect people to pay them more money for them to just lose our packages. I will never send another package out through USPS.

I am shocked and do not believe that he should be unleashed and let loose to deal with the customers because he has no people skills at all. There were three people in line when a woman passed us by and went directly to Grace who had just arrived at the counter. Grace did not ask her to wait her turn in line, but assisted her. Grace allowed this obnoxious woman to jump/crash the line! When finished, I told the woman, who is walking garbage, that she was supposed to wait in line as everyone else did. When I finally was called to the counter by Andrew, I tried to file a verbal complaint about this matter. He not only would not listen, he actually was nasty to ME for chastising the woman.
