On two occasions within 3 months I have had very slow - like 3 weeks to a month - delivery to people living in the same zip code as the post office. In both cases these contained checks for services such as yard work. In both cases I dropped off the letters in the mail slot INSIDE the building. In both cases I had to hand deliver new checks to the individuals as they needed to be paid. Also we frequently get mis delivered mail at our house. I do not feel I can rely on USPS anymore.

There used to be one or two for short term drop offs. Today, I was picking up stamps and after about 3 minutes the younger man in a blue sweater started yelling at me to leave as I had parked in a USPS spot. I asked where customers are to park now? The older, kinder gentleman said customers are to park in the ramp down the street. I was about to pay for my stamps when the younger man, ranted at me to leave and NOT buy anything from them. Then he was outside watching me get into my car-in an empty lot-without my purchases. I will never go back to this place. No one deserves to be yelled at or told they can't buy your product. It seems that the man's job was to patrol an empty parking lot from the rule breakers who simply want stamps. I suggest bringing back the 2 spots you used to have. It's a short parking stay for a post office visit.

For me, this meant getting some mail that hadn't yet been delivered. For another customer, it meant picking up a package that had been sent without a suite number. While it's a good-sized facility with ample parking (conveniently located within walking distance of my workplace), working directly with customers is only a small part of what they do. If nobody is at the desk when you come in, ring the doorbell on the wall opposite the door. You may need to wait a few minutes, as they've got a whole lot going in, but they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks, USPS!

It was starting to seem like it was a conspiracy for them to pay me for using their services because I got my money back on four separate occasions. No, this isn't a good way to get "free" stuff. When they do fail, it can be aggravating to resolve the problem. And, the burden of proof is on YOU, so you BETTER have your receipt. My advice is to not call them about it. Go into a PO and speak to an actual human. No, they probably aren't going to care any less than they do already. Yet, you've got a person standing there looking at the various facial expressions you're making. Maybe it's just me. They seem suddenly highly motivated to get me the heck out of there and on my way...with my money. I cannot help but wonder if the problems are due to the consolidation that has taken place. The PO down the street from me is managed by Eagan and that's where I have to go to pick up any packages that are missed (if redelivery isn't an option). This is also where you have to call to speak to someone. This did work for me, once. Because my mom worked for the PO for many years, I will continue to use their services. Well, while they still deserve my business. Their prices don't seem on the gougey bent (yes I made up that word) and service is USUALLY very good and prompt.

This was supposed to be a little five minute trip to mail a package but it took about 30 minutes and I was the second person in line. When I got there there was no employee there and some packages and after a few minutes the girl ahead of me said the lady wasn't even helping her. Another employee came by and said the lady you would be back soon and left. So I just patiently waiting my turn to but I guess were complicated orders? This Saturday, February 21st, I had a package delivered to my parcel box. When I tried using the…read morekey, it wouldn't open the box. I tried multiple times over the weekend, hoping that I'd be able to get it to open, but it didn't work. On Monday, I called and asked if someone could get it open, to that, they said they'd be able to assist me, and I thought my issues were resolved. They were not. I called multiple times again on Tuesday to get the box open, no help from the mail carrier, but I was told on the phone that someone would come over personally and help open the box. I gave the person my cell phone number and my address. No one bother to came by and help. I then called again Wednesday morning. They said that the mail carrier will be able to take my package out of my box and then leave it on my front door. When I return home from work (around 3PM), there is no package on my front step, the box still does not have a key, but the key to open the locker has been removed. I called multiple times to get some help with this and they told me that they delivered the package at 11:30. Their response to this situation is to tell me because the package on my front door is missing that someone stole it. In this neighborhood, there are multiple other homes with packages on their doorsteps and none appear to be missing. I also have never had anyone steal packages before, nor have I heard anything from my neighbors. The parcel box seems to still be locked with no key in sight (assuming no other package has been put in there), I can assure you that no one is stealing my package in my community. The lack of customer service, lack of accountability, the continuous empty promises and lack of reliability with this USPS location and the leadership running this shit show needs some serious attention. Every time I go in person to this branch, people working the counter are extremely rude. There is no redeeming quality about this place.
