    Postal clerk during COVID19 mask mandate.

    I visited Saturday, September 5, 2020. At this time there is a state-wide mandate to mask when inside a public building. However, during my visit the clerk was wearing her mask under her chin the entire time I waited in line. When it was my turn I asked her to please put it on before I got to the counter. At first she refused, so I asked nicely again. She then said it didn't matter. I asked nicely again for her to put it on then huffed as she put it on. I was helped and had to step aside to fill out some information before completing the transaction. I did and then had to get back in line before completing the transaction, even though others who had to do the same thing were assisted next without having to wait in line again. I felt punished for asking her to wear her mask. There is a survey to fill out after service and I made sure to let them know about it.

    Overall good location. Wheel chair accessible. Pretty easy drive through drop off. However, the lobby was very small.

    I was here to send another care package to my mom…read more Unfortunately, the PO has been hit-or-miss with the packages I've sent. On a good note, when they fail, I get my money back. It was starting to seem like it was a conspiracy for them to pay me for using their services because I got my money back on four separate occasions. No, this isn't a good way to get "free" stuff. When they do fail, it can be aggravating to resolve the problem. And, the burden of proof is on YOU, so you BETTER have your receipt. My advice is to not call them about it. Go into a PO and speak to an actual human. No, they probably aren't going to care any less than they do already. Yet, you've got a person standing there looking at the various facial expressions you're making. Maybe it's just me. They seem suddenly highly motivated to get me the heck out of there and on my way...with my money. I cannot help but wonder if the problems are due to the consolidation that has taken place. The PO down the street from me is managed by Eagan and that's where I have to go to pick up any packages that are missed (if redelivery isn't an option). This is also where you have to call to speak to someone. This did work for me, once. Because my mom worked for the PO for many years, I will continue to use their services. Well, while they still deserve my business. Their prices don't seem on the gougey bent (yes I made up that word) and service is USUALLY very good and prompt.

    This Saturday, February 21st, I had a package delivered to my parcel box. When I tried using the…read morekey, it wouldn't open the box. I tried multiple times over the weekend, hoping that I'd be able to get it to open, but it didn't work. On Monday, I called and asked if someone could get it open, to that, they said they'd be able to assist me, and I thought my issues were resolved. They were not. I called multiple times again on Tuesday to get the box open, no help from the mail carrier, but I was told on the phone that someone would come over personally and help open the box. I gave the person my cell phone number and my address. No one bother to came by and help. I then called again Wednesday morning. They said that the mail carrier will be able to take my package out of my box and then leave it on my front door. When I return home from work (around 3PM), there is no package on my front step, the box still does not have a key, but the key to open the locker has been removed. I called multiple times to get some help with this and they told me that they delivered the package at 11:30. Their response to this situation is to tell me because the package on my front door is missing that someone stole it. In this neighborhood, there are multiple other homes with packages on their doorsteps and none appear to be missing. I also have never had anyone steal packages before, nor have I heard anything from my neighbors. The parcel box seems to still be locked with no key in sight (assuming no other package has been put in there), I can assure you that no one is stealing my package in my community. The lack of customer service, lack of accountability, the continuous empty promises and lack of reliability with this USPS location and the leadership running this shit show needs some serious attention. Every time I go in person to this branch, people working the counter are extremely rude. There is no redeeming quality about this place.

    This is one big honking Post Office! The drive through is easy, once you get around the frontage…read moreroads. There are two rows of boxes to ease traffic, which there is a lot of at this office. Exiting is easier then getting in, but that's all Bloomington regulations so we won't blame the USPS.
