Just came in with a couple QR codes for them to scan and ship a return package. The equality of service was acceptable, but the wait time was very long. The clerk was fairly snippy. I had a small issue with the return that required an adjustment to the packaging (items needed to be separated). So that unfortunately sent me to the back of the line and I had to wait another 15 minutes because they're so slow. It was a very unfortunate experience. I feel like they really need to have more than one person behind the counter when there's 6 people in line. There is only one person competent working at this location. The African American woman with the lovely accent. She's the only person who seems to know what she's doing and she's the only person there who's friendly and a true people person. The rest of the USPS staff there make it look like it's incredibly painful to interact with humans, I mean, I've never seen such tortured souls anywhere else in any other type of business or establishment EVER. I mean, I've worked boring menial jobs throughout my life since I was a teenager too, but I never let it get to the point where I couldn't enjoy myself and laugh a little. Well, the other staff never know what they're doing and always have to refer to the African American woman to ask what to do -which makes everything take longer than it already is taking. You'll ALWAYS find LONG lines here no matter what, because staff members there are SUPER SLOW in doing anything -it's like watching a sloth cross the road(youtube it if you haven't seen it before). On top of being slow, most of the time, the other staff members never know how to do anything. It's not rocket science, but they make it look like it must be indeed that complicated. We live in a time where MACS, IPHONES, and HIGH TECH TECHNOLOGY is the norm, and they still use these ancient machines. The USPS staff don't even seem to know how to use the machines either, despite it being old ass technology. Besides the African American woman, the other 2 staff members consist of a guy who looks like he's from a Latin background, and then there is the old white guy with gray hair and glasses. The old guy is the WORST. Every time I've tried to purchase money order he's been super condescending and will refuse to service me. He'll make up stuff like, "He doesn't know how to process the money order" and will tell me to go to the African American woman. He doesn't think I remember him, but I do. The next couple of times I've asked for money order purchase, he again doesn't want to process it, and tells me he "ran out of the money order" paper and that I should go to the next register to check out. This is definitely a person with NO ambition in life if he can't even figure out how to process money order transactions. Guess that's why he's working at a job he hates. No motivation to aspire for more in life either in his career or as a human being, it's pretty obvious. How depressing for him. But that sort of attitude has no place in the customer service field. I had to wait exactly an HOUR, and I watched as he helped out six or seven other customers before some one else was available to process my checkout. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH read more

I needed to change my lock on my condo mailbox. I called and got ahold of Mr. Yang. In order to get into the mailbox to change the lock, the carrier must open the front panel. Mr Yang called the carrier to find out when he would be at my condo - and called me back. I met the carrier at my condo and changed the lock. Carrier was a very friendly guy also (didn't get his name). It isn't often you get this kind of service from the post office (or any government connected anything). read more

It's become new normal for the mail delivery personal at the "Lost Lake Postal Office" to mark package as "delivered" and take those packages back to postal office or vehicle and keep it for another 4-5 days. And after you file a complaint with the USPS about lost mail or package, they will finally deliver it without any explanations of what that was. It's not a single issue. Parcels lost? Don't bother to contact Postal Office employees, they will give you a thousand excuses how is it not their fault but yours: from package that didn't had a clear directions on delivery to "it was dropped on your porch" even if you don't have one and you reside in the apartment complex. You will never win! Understand this: if you use USPS - "Lost Lake Branch Postal Office" you already LOSE! read more

My USPS owned communal mailbox was damaged and I could not get my mail. According to their own website, this is their responsibility to fix, and not the homeowner. When I went in, they told me it would be taken care of, but when I came back to get my mail and key for the new lock on the box, they charged me $40 for the repair! And refused to give me my key if I didn't. The they had already fixed the lock, and were holding my mail hostage, so I had to pay; very poor business. This is why USPS is struggling. This USPS is terribly lazy. We have a USPS truck that comes daily to deliver our mail (at a shared box for our neighborhood). If there is any amount of snow accumulated, they will not deliver. Understandably (ish although they are REALLY lenient with this standard for not delivering). My problem is with the USPS that specifically delivers packages. They would not deliver it be because "it was too big" when it was 21x12x15 and under 5 lbs. It was pure laziness that they wouldn't bring it to our door. read more

The service at this location has declined dramatically over the past year. I have been going to this location for over 20 years and wish I had gone out of my way to compliment the former employees, because those that are there now, seem to HATE their jobs, as well as us customers. read more

If you just need to stop and drop this place is good. If you need to get anything or need help, go somewhere else. The staff here is slow, lazy, and it's constant social hour, both with the customers, and each other behind the counter. Long lines always, because nobody puts in any effort. read more

My family went to get a passport for my son, who is a minor so both parents need to be there in person. My wife called in the AM and they said if we arrived before 3:30 they could process it. Listed passport hours are 10 AM to 4 PM. We got there at 3:08 and there was a paper sign taped to the door informing people that they would not do passport processing between 12:30 and 1:30 and after 3 PM. We went to the desk and noted that when we had called they had said be there by 3:30. The bad attitude lady behind the counter responded "The sign says 3 PM" and she wouldn't budge. Nice customer service. I had to leave a meeting early to accommodate their banker hours, only to find that they don't even follow their own officially posted hours of service. read more

The US Postal worker located at 9705 45th Ave N Plymouth, MN, by the name Michelle, is by far the rudest supervisor I've ever had to deal with. After answering her list of questions and listening to her reasons for why my mail was potentially undeliverable, she insisted on telling me to be quiet and let her finish before I could even explain my situation. She then hangs up on me, and denies ever hanging up, and yet again, hangs up on me a second time. I believe this person needs to be retrained and has no right treating customers the way she treated me. And in no way should a professional bicker with a customer. If you want professional assistance, bypass the miserable supervisor and ask to speak to the manager as he's much better to speak with. read more

I called today to the post office to see if time sensitive information had been sent back to the office itself, since it was not in my mailbox or sent to the office (which I also work at). The lady that answered the phone was downright rude and going about telling me If I could I would give them 0 stars but our previous mail person we had delivering were amazing, so I wouldn't do that. read more
