Went here with my grandson. I wanted to teach him how to mail something. I asked the short lady…read morebehind the counter where the boxes were. She pointed and said right across in the corner. I skipped over with my grandson and once we were done finally assembling the box, we bring it over and she tells us we can't use it with first class! She said we had to use our OWN box and when we asked for tape she said "we aren't allowed to give you any". How rude right in town!! So I went to Mattituck post office on Love Lane and was helped kindly by a older man who pointed out to us we could use a envelope they had for only $1.20! We were in and out within 2 mins! Bad example for my grandson over at this post office.

Chris, the old man is s nasty, nasty person. It is apparent that he hates his life and hates…read morepeople. I was in there the other day waiting on line as he was having a full conversation with someone he knew, very unprofessional. Chris is the reason the post office is in the shape it is. On another more positive note, John is absolutely lovely and I love seeing him. John is nice, professional and so friendly! Unfortunately I see old grouchy Chris more than John now. Train Chris to act like John!
