I'll admit, I almost skipped this Post Office after reading the doom-and-gloom reviews. But curiosity got the better of me. I had to meet this mythical "King Sassalot" monster behind the counter. Plus, I was only mailing my dirty laundry home to lighten my suitcase. Low stakes. If the box got lost in the void or I got Gen-Z-death-stared into oblivion, so be it. First impression: Yes, it's freezing in there. But honestly? Refreshing. Five stars for climate control. Second impression: The apathetic clerk was actually very delightful. Polite, helpful, and downright pleasant. Not just with me, but with the customer in front of me, too. You can sense a doesn't suffer fools zest from him, but I did my best to not be a fool. So yeah, worth the visit. Maybe I caught him on a good day, but I walked in with a problem and left with accomplishment. To the folks who had a rough time... I've always had pleasant experiences here. The team members have been helpful with my needs. Usually I send out certified packages or bring prepaid returns here so it's quite easy to get done quickly as I typically don't wait in long lines. read more

This is the most difficult place to find. On top of that, they're rude and God forbid your box isn't taped up. Every post office I go to, they tape for you but this one forces you to buy. They also close from 1pm-2pm even though online it says they're open at 1:30pm. read more

Zero would be too much, so rude, unprofessional to the point it's just silly, this huge, 300 lbs dude who works there said he is calling security because he feels threatened, ??? when I simply asked him why is he taking package of someone, who came after me and ignoring me, despite that I was ahead in the line. It was my last visit to this location. My previous visit month before, I came to mail package and needed to use marker to scratch old address on the package and he said I can't use that much and I am waisting the marker???? What???? He should not be allowed to work there period. read more

Wasted Time: Closed During Posted Hours with No Explanation Review: Absolutely unacceptable service. I arrived during regular working hours when the website confirmed they were "open." The office lights were on, but the door was locked with no sign or explanation posted. I waited for 25 minutes, during which time I witnessed five other potential customers walk away after similar waits. I spent three hours in the area and checked back three times--the office remained inexplicably closed every time. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers' time. Hilariously rude guy that works there. Very funny to read the reviews after and see I'm not the only one that experienced that. I thought I was on a hidden camera show or something, he was being so oddly rude. It seemed like he was doing a bit. This post office is like one of those restaurants where the servers are mean to you, and you gotta try to not give them any bait. Shoot, I'm giving them five stars because while so many other offices blow, this one comes out on top. I remember the old USPS was across from Bloomingdales, near a small 'park' area but this was prior to the renovation. I haven't returned since but today needed to strike out a lot of errands, and remembered there was a smaller office here in the mall. Perfect! Concierge directed me down the way (thank goodness I was on the correct side of the mall already as it is) so I took the escalator down, did a roundabout, and the office was one of the doors on my left. I was the only person in there among one employee, and she did greet me as she was finishing something up. I was a little confused since they had the Plexiglass shield up, then another barrier in the form of a clear 'curtain' and I wasn't sure exactly where to go. As she ushered me up, some guy came in from the other direction, but he had just been there prior, so she finished him up. My transaction was a simple one, and as we finished, I heard the door open and some wacky lady asked loudly, "Is the mall open?" Umm...if she was there and the parking lots were busy...but the lady behind the counter kept in check and answered yes. "How long have they been open?" I mean, this woman was incredulous about this mall being open and I'm just going to say I'm glad I was facing away from her. Post lady said it's been a few months. With masks on, it's hard to detect sarcasm and humor so I quietly said, 'I think someone just woke up' and with her wide-eyed response, I knew she got it. I went to do the survey on my receipt to rate the heck out of her but the damn site didn't recognize the legit zip code. I swear when I complain to you (which is often), those always patch through yet when I want to compliment someone, you won't let me. I notice two other reviewers had the same issue from EARLIER THIS YEAR. Just had my 2nd visit and she was still working there, and everything went great as expected. And the stupid survey STILL doesn't recognize this office. USPS, you may screw me over a lot, but not within the walls of 90067. Thank you Sheila! read more

I go in here all the time and have seen the lady be pretty rude to people to which I actually stood up for her during the holidays when someone was giving her a hard time and I told that person to chill out and told her she was doing a great job. Again I work at this mall so I go in here a lot. Put something in the drop box on Monday and still hadn't received tracking to which it's now Friday. When I went down to ask her for her help or maybe it was laying around the back room somewhere she was rude and rolled her eyes at me and told me to " figure it out yourself" so my $80 necklace is just missing now and online is impossible too. Was just treated horribly by desk clerk and told never to come back. He didn't like that I had numerous pre-paid and packed USPS packages to place in his bin. This was zero work for him. I am really disappointed. I had driven across town to go to this one in particular because this same clerk had been kind to me before. I wonder if he realizes that if he tells everyone else to leave that is patronizing his business that he won't have a job? As a female small business owner I feel belittled and also wondered if he would have treated a man the same way? Went in today around 2pm on Monday (June 14th 2021) and received zero customer service, along with rude attitude from the woman working. I don't think employees know that YOU ARE THE ONES WHO WORK AT A POST OFFICE NOT THE CUSTOMERS. So when SOMEONE ASKS YOU A QUESTION answer nicely because customers don't know your shipping Options, it's not our job it's YOURS. Stop acting like you don't want to do your job. I spoke with multiple people who use this location and they refused to go in when this particular woman is working, her rude attitude and lack of customer service makes people go elsewhere if they see her working. Visiting from out of town & went shopping, saw this post office & wish I hadn't! This Post Office is NOT closed, it is very much open and staffed with some of the rudest people I've encountered at the post office. They gave me a receipt with the customer survey at the bottom and when I enter it in to the USPS postal experience website, it says "Invalid" - WTF??!! Since the workers here are lazy, entitled, and feel they shouldn't have to work and just earn money anyway, they probably messed w/ the system some how to void that post office so people can't leave reviews about their horrible attitude and bad service. Terrible and will never be returning. The woman working today (aug 4) at 11:15 am has a major attitude problem. From the second I walked in the door, she was already bent out of shape from having to do her job. She made the entire process of shipping a package extremely irritating and offered absolutely no help. The second I put my package on the counter she told me the address was written incorrectly. With severe attitude she then told me to purchase labels in order to cover up where the address had been written incorrectly. I was at post office at a little before 2. A USPS man back from lunch and put two of the boxes I needed in the supply area. I got took them and I asked if these were medium boxes. I heard him mumbling under his breath. I went to the counter and asked if I could pay for the postage for the flat rate box and he said No, and looked right back at me. I asked him where I can pay? He said when you bring the box back for shipping. I asked if they have any more boxes. He said yes we do have them, but I'm not going to give them to you because we are running low (and more mumbling under his breath). How unprofessional. I have had horrible experiences at post offices in both california and colorado. This office and the one in El segundo are the only USPS stores I'm willing to use. The woman who works at the desk is beyond lovely. She really spent time answering my questions and telling me how to actually get help at the main USPS store. Plus I love her nails.
