Some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. No one wants to help you. When I complained, they finally helped me. And Mrs. Mary, the cashier, made a condescending comment after I finally got my package correctly packaged and in order with "See, was that so hard?" I have never been treated like this before at any place before. The other cashier, while I did not get her name, was also super rude to me as well. If you like to go to post offices with rude cashiers, then this place is for you. read more

The representatives here have no sense of urgency. They take forever with one customer stopping to take breaks and talk to each other in between. If you're in a hurry don't go here read more

The reason this place has 1 star is crazy. They should def have zero stars. So unorganized and the wait to pick up or drop off a package is ridiculous. The carriers have stolen my packages and mail on several occasions! read more

Have been waiting for a new community mailbox since February. Finally got one installed but guess what? THEY DIDNT ASSIGN MY HOUSE A SLOT. When I called today (only took from 9 am to 4 pm to get someone to answer the damn phone) the "supervisor" hung up on me when I inquired as to what the hell is going on with them. As they can't seem to get a single thing done correctly. Can't hold mail, can't deliver mail, can't find the mail they're supposed to be holding. They are incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. read more

There's one clerk sitting behind a quick service sign who's sitting there doing absolutely nothing while there are dozens of people in the regular line. And when you walk in there's a sign that says this building was dedicated to public service... The people in that building are getting paid for doing next to nothing. The most inept lazy example of governmental employees ever. Our tax money at work. read more

This is by far the worst post office on the face of the earth how is a package out for delivery for 3 days, they need to get it together literally read more

Went to this God forsaken post office on Wednesday. Post master ""Jones" is the worst. She had the nerve to come to the window and say "what do you want I'm busy". I said what I want is my keys to my mailbox to a house I just moved into back in June. No one seems to know where the keys are. She took down my name and said they will get delivered tomorrow or put under your mat. Guess what never happened. There were others online as well for keys ....one lady has been waiting since April! What a joke! read more

Eligible for 0 stars. Don't get much worse than this. 1 hr line. Horrible customer service. Avoid at all cost if you can

This place is the worst! Had to put have our mail to be held by the post office due to needing new keys for our mailbox. Initially they continued to deliver our mail but held my neighbors. Finally got that mix up fixed after they almost gave me the wrong mail. It's been months since putting in a request for new keys and nothing, no answer as to when or why it's taking so long. Mail is being held but packages are still being delivered to our mailbox that we can't get into. read more

Customer service is horrible Gabriel the teller said he's so busy I was late by 2 min for my passport due to a wreck and there was no one here. He was the rudest to customers coming in everything was a no then why does he have this job he needs another profession! read more

This lady pictured (Clerk 6, Hispanic lady in her 30s with a bun) was absolutely unhelpful. The lines were incredibly long today, and I waited 20-30 minutes to get to the counter. She said there was no Priority Mail tape, so I had to buy a $3.99 roll of tape (I understand these things can be out of the clerk's control), but then she refused to print out my label from a QR code, although I waited a long time, and the other clerks have always helped me to do so. I explained this, and she refused to print it. So I had to go out to the kiosk and wait in another long line to print a label. I was at this post office for almost an hour. She gave almost every customer that came after me a hard time, and one customers had a frustrated outburst as a result. She did not elaborate on anything (I had to ask her if they sold tape after she simply said "No" when I asked if they had Priority Mail tape) and clearly did not care about her position. read more

Worst post office on earth. The line for the "quick service" door is regularly hours and hours long. The people who work there are clearly incompetent or apathetic about their jobs. I've been waiting months for "keys to be made" for my mailbox after moving into a subdivision and I heard them tell someone else waiting for their keys that "the man who makes the keys has been sick." Are you kidding? This is the most inconvenient and mismanaged thing I've ever experienced. Wish I could do more than leave a bad Yelp review--few people have an option about which post office to go to so not sure who's looking at the these Yelp reviews, but it's nice to have a place to say how terrible this post office is. read more

So I finally pay the $25 to replace the cheap non- weather resistant lock they used which of course corroded... Me: so when will my key be ready? Postal worker: I don't know. 2 weeks? Postal worker: Please fill out this survey. Me: Will it help to improve conditions at this ratchet post office? Postal worker: I don't know. Me: Can I pick up my mail please? Postal worker: lobby Me: the line is really long. Could we get some help out there since there's no one in here? Postal worker: I'll see ma'am. Of course I end up standing in line in the lobby for 30+ minutes. This is by far the most miserable USPS in EXISTENCE. read more

US Post Office - Nice right? - Post Offices Near Me - Katy, Texas

Went here today to drop my mail. But ended up that there mail drop off is been full. So, I went inside to ask the guy if I can drop my mail to him. And he refused he told me to drop off in the drop off mail or wait for the person in the blue door to assist. So I went back and ring the bell twice but nobody answers. It took forever. So, I decide to just go inside maybe he'll take my package because the blue door service wont open there window. But instead he told me to go outside to wait coz packages boxes are not allowed inside with a angry voice. So I really want to know his name coz he was so rude. I think his not happy with his work. This guy is a Mexican guy and his old and fat. read more

I would give 0 stars!! We placed 3 graduation cards into the outside drop box on 5/19/23. TWO months later 2 of them have never been received! HOW can it be that 2 of them were "lost" in the mail!? I don't think so. The 1800# wasn't helpful and I can't reach anyone at the local branch to report it...I'm not surprised! read more

They are real strict about closing the doors at 5 PM. Only the self service in the lobby is open 24 hrs. I have seen them lock people out that get there at 5. I try to make a point to never had to use them.I only go there to buy stamps. I wont miss them of they go out of service. read more

Run!!!!!!!!!! Avoid this post office at all costs! The Mexican older man literally slammed the door in my daughters face as she was walking in and said it's 5pm we are closed! I walked up behind her a minute later at 5pm on the dot and asked what happened. I knocked on the door and the Mexican older man yelled and said we are closed it's 5pm and slammed the door again and refused to let us in. Run like Forest Gump!!! Complete jerk! read more

If it was a option for no stars I will put that. The staff here is unprofessional. I don't understand how a government job has employees who are unprofessional. The lines are long and they go to lunch without telling anyone. There should be no reason to have a line going out the door durning a pandemic. Hate that place. it should be more organized then that. It will be smarter to come out wit a piece of paper and take everyone address and name then go look for mail not that hard and it will cut back time. read more

Worse place ever. Just moved to Katy a month ago and forced to place my mail on hold here while I wait for keys. Getting through on the phone is impossible. Whoever picks up either hangs up quick or puts you on hold and hangs up. Already filed two complaints and plan to contact the inspector general next. read more

At 2pm Wednesday 2020 sooo.. they have a drop box too outside but for letters, need to add packages/parcels whatever not everyone wants to come inside, parking lot is fairly okay but probably bad during high traffic, they have self service machine too but line is long for that too, good luck stay patient I guess read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. The supervisor is always to blame for them being short staffed and never having an attendant at the window for packages. I asked if I could speak with the supervisor and was told...you have to wait at the window outside. I've been waiting for 1 hour, ridiculous. The most disorganized place and the worst customer service in the state, I'm sure!! read more

I've been missing a package since SEPTEMBER and the process I'm going through to get my money back is ridiculous. It's OCTOBER they are doing everything in order not to, closing my cases without contacting and not even giving the chance to called back before closing cases never had a package problem until they were chosen to deliver my package. Convinced somebody stole it my name is written on the inside of my mailbox no way to not put it in the correct box. read more

So who is the person that keeps answering and hanging up the phone? If you get paid to do a job do it.

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced, unacceptable long waits, personal extremely rude and disorganized.

One of the worst post offices I've ever been to. Every once in a while, a package doesn't get delivered to my house, as it's "stuck in transit" for DAYS! What's the reasoning behind this? Why do I keep having to visit this post office to find out what happened to my packages? Get it together! This place needs to be shut down. They LOST most of my wedding invitations I sent to guests as well, which is completely ridiculous. How do you just lose a ton of envelopes? Any time I have to visit this location, I brace myself for terrible attitudes and zero organization. read more

This is the worst post office I could have ever been zoned to I have been in my home for 6 months still no mailbox key, this is totally ridiculous I'm not sure if they are understaffed or incompetent or what but this makes no sense, lines in the office always long and workers never seem to know what's going on I have went in to office every month inquiring about my mailbox key still nothing... read more

Terrible attention, one has to guess what to do because they don't explain it to you and they are very rude. worst service in the world.

The worst post office within a 10 mile radius. The workers are few and lazy, refuse to help people even when theres no line (will tell you to use the self kiosk even though theres no one in line behind you). The package drop off box is taped shut but says its out of service. The line to get someone behind the blue doors can be anywhere from 30-60 minutes of a wait. Employees are rude and don't care about efficiency. Waste of time and space. read more

I feel that this post office should receive the grade of F!!!! Never open the door to pick up mail on time, one person doing the job and is very slow!!! Rude and the attitude is awful!!!! please do not go here. most of the us post offices in katy aren't great but go ANYWHERE but here. the further drive will save you the headache and stress. i saw the reviews and thought that because i was going to the self service that i would be fine. NO. even if you're going to drop off anything through the self service, DO NOT. the parcel drop box is broken and it is almost impossible to get your packages to go through to the other side, but then they get stuck in the drop box and will tear if you try to get them back out. and the workers are so busy that nobody will come to help you. i was only lucky enough that 2 customers in line came to help me because they saw me struggling. there is no sign on the drop box that says that it is broken and to not use it. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I know the wait times are long and stressful. HOWEVER, they have a worker named "Gabriel" GO TO HIM! He's the kindest man ever. Tried to make your wait less than it should be. Was working multiple jobs and continuously apologized. He had such a great attitude even towards extremely rude customers. I genuinely think USPS does not deserve him. His kind heart is what got me out of my passport appointment in less than an hour. Mind you the last time I came my wait time was 4 hours. He was super GREAT worker. read more

Well the worst USPO I've ever dealt with. Again, the postal worker who delivers in my neighborhood decided to take a package and mark it as delivered. So, as a paying patron and tax payer I'm very concerned how an employee can get away with theft and internal affairs do absolutely nothing about it. I finally received an email about the complaint from internal affairs after calling the complaint line again since it was recorded that my issues had been resolved. LIES!!! I hadn't heard from anyone after continuously sending emails to the postmaster for a resolution to the problem. After several failed attempts internal affairs decided to email me to state that I should contact the merchant I purchased the product from and call the police. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SHADY POST OFFICE! A DISCRACE to AMERICAN TAX PAYERS!! read more

The worst customer service ever! They denied a package because the zip code printed on my pre-printed Etsy label was not the same as theirs?? Twenty minutes til closing and they sent us to another post office that we would never make on time! First time this was ever mentioned and we've been dropping off shipments, every week, for the past 4 years??? Called and found out that this supervisor was totally incorrect and even their upper management apologized for the error! Save yourself lots of stress and headaches... use FedEx or UPS... these people are too lazy! read more
