It sucks that this is going to be my local post office. I have been calling for more than a week the line is busy when I finally got someone on Sat he put me on hold for 20 min never came back, hung up and called back no one ever answered. read more

Absolutely terrible. I completely agree with the other post which said their whole staff needs to be replaced. I went in with my baby and she was clearly getting fussy after being there for so long due to their inefficiency and incompetence. No one cared. Once I got to the cashier, the heavy set lady with long hair made it impossible for me to send my packages. She nitpicked at how I had done it and had no regard for my baby or the other people that had to bear with a crying fussy baby! AWFUL! This place should be shut down IMO. read more

Again...package tracking # shows delivery attempted, but left notice. I'm not sure where she "attempted" to deliver, but I just watched her drive right by my house without even slowing down. No notice left, either. 18 minute hold time with 888 customer serice because the Katy office never answers the phone. read more

They've never been reliable, but what few improvements they've supposedly made over the past several years do not make up for their lack of package delivery reliability. I sent a package to Puerto Rico with it expected to arrive in three days, and a clerical error had it arriving back on my doorstep the very next day. Two weeks before, I sent a package to Georgia, with it arriving only to be sent, again for no reason, to Tennessee. The package had nothing on it saying anything about Tennessee. It arrived two days later than it should have, and it arrived torn up, with the contents (thankfully nothing more damageable than clothing) completely exposed. The customer service also lacks, with staff barely mustering up the energy to roll their eyes at you. They also don't make up for delays or missing packages with no tracking. They're pretty awful, and don't seem intent on improving much beyond how well they can take you for a sucker. read more

AGAIN. THIS POST OFFICE IS JUST THE WORST IN TEXAS. I still have the carrier marking my packages as delivered and yet they are NOT and have NEVER been delivered. And try calling this Post Office 281-829-5062 and you will never get through as their number is constantly busy. I have tried calling up to 100 times per day and always busy. THIS Post Office needs to be closed and all employees fired for incompetency. This place is a HUGE JOKE. THIEVES and LIARS work at this post office. I would give negative stars if it was possible. This post office and workers SUCK!!!!!! read more

For starters let me just say that I really appreciate the USPS and the people who work there. That being said, I think someone needs to provide these postal workers with a nicer work environment. I was just there today and while the building is well air conditioned against the Texas heat, the interior is pretty run down. Paint has been chipped off the walls, several overhead lights are out and the atmosphere was quiet and tense. If I can find whoever manages the maintenance for post offices, I would recommend that they at least touch up the paint and install some kind of sound system so the employees and customers can listen to some kind of background music. Would make it a lot less awkward for people waiting in line. read more

Everything all the other reviews have stated, has happened to me. This is the WORST post office ever! It all started with taking forever to get my key. I have experienced lost packages, rude and lazy employees. I could go on, but if you read the reviews, I would just be repeating them. They have a barrel in the lobby so you can drop off small, pre-paid packages. You take a chance on being able to do that since the majority of the time, they LOCK it and it will not open. I have wasted many trips because of this. It would be worth the drive to go a little out of your way to another post office. USPS or some other organization really needs to overhaul this PO branch and make it better. read more

Horrible mail delivery. We have a new mailman and I believe he is selective about what he delivers - that is if he decides to deliver to us. I have gotten 4 pieces of mail all week; I used to get 4-12 pieces a day, that is, I used to. Sometimes he skips us; we never get junk mail anymore; I guess he cannot be bothered with it. I have tried phoning the post office - what a joke, busy signal all of the time. I hate to give them even one star at that post office. read more

my book was out for delivery on sept 23 2017 this was a gift from my brother has not arrived yet . this post office loses and delivers to wrong address all the time i always have to redeliver items myself atleast 3 times. very disappointed read more

The worst! Never had a package arrive on time! A few never arrived. You can NEVER get through on the phone! I called and inquired about a package that said delivered but not really.. They took my number said they would have a response in 48 hours and never heard from them again. I actually think the person didnt really give me an actual claim number but instead just rambled some number off to me!!! When I called and gave the claim number they said they had no record of the claim!!!! WTF!!! What are they doing with the mail? Definitely not delivering it! I hate this f*cking post office!!!!! read more

We suspect that 77449 USPS office steals uninsured mail packages. They mark packages as Delivered to front door, but they don't actually deliver them (we know this since there is always someone at home). 6 of my uninsured mail packages disappeared like this in 2014-2015. We went to police to report this, and asked whether someone from neighborhood could steal our packages, and he said that 6 is impossible. Policeman said that 1 or 2 is possible, but not 6. Despite our numerous complaints and visits no one from USPS contacted us back. The thing is that USPS is protected by some US law, so they can legally steal mail. Believe me, there is nothing you can do to stop this: you cannot submit a police report, you can only submit online claim to mail inspectors, mail inspectors escalate claim to Houston consumer affair office, and Houston consumer affair office escalates claim TO THIS 77449 USPS office, which is a dead end. Do not move into 77449 zip code, mail theft is legal here. read more

These old grumpy women are rude and act like they don't know how to do their job. I am bewildered on how they don't know what I should ship my item in. If you hate your job quit! Terrible customer service. I was also the only one in line and everybody scattered even though they all saw that I was in line. Nobody was helping anybody, so I don't understand why I stood in line for 5 mins without anybody Acknowledging me! These women really need to retire already. read more

I don't understand why the postal workers at this location are so rude! The mailperson left my package in the parcel locker but did not put the key to it in my my mailbox. There were no keys left in the parcel lockers so I speculate that the key to my package was left in someone else's mailbox. I called to inquire about this and here's how the phone call went: I explained my situation and the clerk said I can't hear you, hold on & I waited for about 10 minutes. The PO clerk came back on the line & I explained my situation for the second time. She sharply said hold on & I waited. I heard the line get picked up so I said hello a few times & then click & the line went dead. I called back. The clerk said you didn't get hung up on & rudely said the mailperson will get my package out of the locker. I said thank you & the clerk said Hmmm.... and she hung up the phone. I am baffled!! This is my neighborhood post office & I've been dealing with this PO for 15 years. Could the PO please hire kind staff who remember that "we" are "their" customers??? Avoid them as much as you can... read more

Horrible customer service , delivery , pick up you name it . being 70 year old on a fixed income , i put my bills ( credit card , water ,electric gas ) on my mail box February 13 , way before the due dates , they all arrive to destinations late ( note they were due on the 22nd of February ) , some arrived on the 24th and some on the 28th what cause a late fee . went to post office to customer service and they said i would have to contact manager , gave me the phone # and called so many times but phone is always busy .... ( witch i do believe if left of the hock due to complains ??? ) Called and made a complain with USPS , the 1800 # , open a case and also stated that our mail carrier does not have a USPS car ( personal car with no logo ) and the carrier is not in a uniform and or has identification , mail that was put in mail mail box 02/13 was not deliver . A case # was given and was told the manager would have till the 28th to respond to this matter . Time went by and here is March 9th , only thing we got was a email for survey . Just called them again and this time the representative told me that our mail carrier is sick so there is "fill in " carrier ( i know we can't help with illness but seems like my carrier has been sick for over 4 years ? I have been living at this address for 10 years ) , that they do not have to be in a marked USPS vehicle and or uniform , the carrier is only responsible for the pick up and the turning it to the shorting station , and that they were very sorry for the inconvenience but there is other alternatives , meaning either got to grocery stores ( will have to pay extra )and pay the bills that the service center , pay on line , pay over the phone( will have to pay extra ) etc . If we tell the utilities the above problem and that our local post office says they are sorry , i don't think they care and will be waiving late fees !!!! By the way local post office manager never contact me . Does she/he care or is sorry ? No only thing it matter is a pay check that we are paying for it . Gave 1 star because you can't comment with out it but my ratting on them is -0 star read more

I have filed 3 complaints against this office this year, someone keeps stealing my silver shipments. I'm a small business owner and my suppliers think I'm a fraud because they'll scan the package as "out for delivery" but I don't get it or I'll get the package days later with the tear in the envelope taped over. These people know what they are doing because all of the thefts have been valued at just under $200 so I can't file a police report. And FedEx uses the same DC and carriers as USPS does out here so I can't use them as an alternative. I've complained to the supervisor and I think he's in on the thefts. read more

This place is terrible. They've lost 2 of my packages. The customer service is atrocious too, the lady that answered my call was so rude.

I have had horrible luck with getting my items from this location, My business mail and parcels come from this location and they have seem to lost 2 important items in less than a week. all they can say is check back later maybe it will show up, or did you have insurance if not maybe you should get some on your next package. read more

I have to agree with the second post - I have been trying to call them for 2 hours and the line is always busy.

What the hell?? I thought I was the only one having problems. I have been calling their number and nobody answers. My mail also has been marked as delivered, but I never received it. I too have tried to explain this to my vendors and they have been reluctant to re-send my items because, of course, the post office says the items were delivered. What a crock. I think it's time to file a formal complaint with the USPS. read more

Worst ever I have had my mail on hold for eleven days, and it was to be delivered on December 2nd, I have yet to receive my mail and getting the run around, where is my mail, this is the second time I have had to deal with this type of serivce our mailbox was knocked down and for six months we had to travel to Park Row to pick up our mail finally our wonderful delivery man put the mail box up himself, in the meantime of the box being down they lost two checks and have to this day not been recovered. also the people working there don't give a crap to help you at all, read more

We are only three months into living in Katy and this is our local post office and the one that provides our carrier service. This is by far the worst service I have have every had by the USPS! I had better mail delivery in combat! We have had multiple issue with our mail being put in the wrong box, (we have have those multi-box units in our subdivision) packages not delivered and returned for mysterious reasons. We complained and later that day we had a box full of mail with a note saying we need to check more often. Hmm we check everyday that is how we know we don't get our mail! now it's starting all over again the mail is being returned and packages are being sent back with the claim the address is incorrect or unknown! Really questionable activity! Looks like we are getting pay back for asking for proper service! read more

I am so disgusted with the Katy Post Office on Park Row, and the Postal Guy that delivers our mail is a joke. He is either Indian or Middle Eastern and every, every time he drives up he is on the phone speaking another language to someone very loudly and does not pay attention to where and who he is delivering mail to. We get others mail, pretty sure he lost our license tags for one of our vehicles which we never got, and he has been known to drive up either not putting mail in to our mailbox or does, then goes to the next mail box, back up and then put mail in to our box.. because he is paying more attention to his phone calls then his mail delivery. Also, on the site yesterday (Oct 5th) online showed package out for delivery, then he drove right passed our house, then this morning online it says undeliverable due to incorrect address.. I called early this morning and the gal said to call back at 8:45 a.m. so I did and it is now 9:15 and either no answer or the line is busy and from what I can see of other complaints below it is probably because they are ignoring my calls. I WANT MY PACKAGE! So all of you below that have complaints I found a site you can complain to the government office that is in charge of complaints. I suggest we all send our complaints to them and maybe just maybe this reoccurring problem will be fixed with this location. Here's the site: http://www.prc.gov/offices/pagr Good Luck! read more

This has to be the worst post office in the state of Texas. I have been trying to get an appointment for my passport for three weeks. They only take appointments on Tuesdays staring at 9am for the following week. The problem is when you call for the appointment the number is busy for hours. I have been able to get thru a few times only to be placed on hold, once for 1 hour and 40 minutes and another time for 45 minutes. They also answer the phone after it rings for dozens of times and simply hang it up without saying a word. There customer skills make me happy the post office looses money every year !!!! read more

I have been waiting (in England) for a package that arrived at the Katy facility on 16th June 2016. Being in England, I can't even send an e-mail to find out what's happening, as you need a ZIP code and state to send USPS an e-mail. Package took 2 days to get there from CA......It's now taken over 3 months to move from there!!!!!!! read more

As a military family, we have lived in many places, but settled near this Katy Row Post Office 14 years ago. They provide the WORST mail service I've experienced anywhere, so I can only assume the Postmaster isn't running a tight ship. Several packages sat in the post office for months before they went "missing" and tried to blame it on me for not picking them up when I received no notice. Since then, attempted delivery slips are routinely left in my mailbox even though I'm home and no attempts are made. About once a week the neighbors play let's exchange our misdelivered mail, and it's a game I don't want to play. But worst of all is the bank statements and financial envelopes which come already opened. I'm not sure if it's because one of my neighbors opened the envelopes then realized it wasn't theirs and put it back in the mail slot or if the mail carrier is snooping for checks and credit cards. Either way, something needs to be done. What's going on at this post office is criminal. I feel like I'm living in a third world country! What do I have to do? Bribe the carrier to increase my chances of getting mail and packages delivered? read more

We have lost 2 packages in two weeks - Nike tennis shoes and Computer software - was told the carrier put key in our mail box for us to receive our packages - no key no packages - not in our mail boxes!!! Was told she would come back and check if she put our items in wrong box - well she never showed up - we called - talk to a few people and they called us back - the last call was from the manager but did not want to give her name - was so rude - I know I sounded upset - I am - and she let me have it - she did not say I was lying - but it sounded that is what she thought - it was and is a night mare - I liked this post office until now - it either was a mistake or something else - but Nothing - Nothing is being done - Nothing! - It's like to bad to sad - and you can not do anything about it!!!! I am trying - Believe me I am trying - Monday I have a call into another Government Department - wish me luck or prayer- I will need it!!!! I almost feel like making a police report! Mail delivery is terrible. Last night It finally arrived after 7:00 PM. Usually always after dark now. Last night when I checked my mail I reached to the back of the box and behold there was no stopping. I looked and saw all the way thru the community boxes. The postal carrier had forgotten to close and lock 24 mail boxes on the back side. I went around back and the back of the mail boxes that is supposed to be locked were all wide open. You could see into all 24 boxes. I took pictures and will take them to the post office tomorrow for all the good it will do. I then taped them shut to keep the rain out, just in case it rained The door on the other master mail box next to the ones that were left open is completely ripped off the hinge. Only thing holding it on is the lock. All you have to do is pull on it and the whole thing opens up. My neighbor said they have complained before but to no avail. Not sure how to get the attention of the USPS for incompetent mail carriers and deteriorating community mailboxes. This is for the 77449 zip code. read more
