this somewhat hidden, easy in easy out post office failed to serve recently. they could handle the…read moresimplest things, but when given more complex queries became confrontational or claimed ignorance of basic processes. The assistance ranged from completely cheery and competent and kind and efficient, to surley, hiding behind made up rules bordering on confrantational, and frankly, somewhat provincial behavior. Could have been better. the first part of the interaction is why I root for USPS, the second half is why the public sometimes do not support them. It would have been so easy to have been nice. But I was alas not from Lamont; I think that mattered too much to them. They are not a LPS (lemont postal service), but a US postal service. Not that this will influence their evaluation, it might help you, and reminder to self, if you are trying to avoid the large, too busy but on point post office in State College, try the one in Boalsburg, where I've had better luck.

There are PO Boxes, and what I love most, the automated shipping kiosk. With that thing, you can ship things 24/7. I wouldn't worry too much about parking. You can usually find a spot somewhere along the street.

They gave us a preliminary quote, which was spot on with the final cost for delivery. They built crates to house fragile items, and made sure everything was packed well. The entire shipment was then crated on a palette and shipped. Nothing was damaged in transit. They did an amazing job, and I will recommend them with no reservations.

He picked it up from the seller for me and wrapped and packed it carefully(even building a crate to fit). Let me tell you it was so well wrapped just about nothing could have damaged it, which was good, as somewhere, someone, managed to damage a corner of the crate. But not the bed. The bed arrived complete with all its many parts, and without a scratch. Thank you Tom. Thank you Crate And Freight. I highly recommend them.

They accepted credit cards, no surcharge/fee (one google review I saw mentioned an additional % fee for cards, but I'm guessing the business's policy has since changed). Good covid precautions right now - they limit 4 customers in the store at a time (I didn't have to wait at all), masks required, and the owner/employee were masked up. They have a store dog, who was just sleeping peacefully behind the counter. I would go back for any notary/title needs!

It's $85 a month but the owner keeps piling on late fees to bring it over $100/month. (That's like 180% interest.) The corker was when AA called me on a Saturday, when the banks are closed, and told me that on Monday AM, they would send the account to collection and there would be $100 ADDITIONAL fee added on. I'm paying it for her. This is why poor people can never get out of debt. I recommend you store your things elsewhere.

Had a pair of expensive Ugg Buffalo hide wool lined slippers that need some stitch work on an…read moreoutside seam. Owner said he could not do that and only could use glue. Charged me $5 to do work (cheap) but both he and I knew glue was not a permanent fix. When I question why he could not do the stitching he got defensive and darn right rude (like how dare I question his expertise). He really was a jerk. Bottom line, will not go back. I bought a $10 leather stitch kit from Amazon and hand stitched them myself. Good as new.
