I came on here at the beginning of November to ask for my mail to be held. I was expecting a new…read morephone and had had some bad experiences with mail not showing up when it was supposed to in the last few months. I did everything I was supposed to--came out, asked what to do, filled out a slip. I was as diligently as I possibly could've been. Then, I received a delivery notification for the package I was expecting a week ago. And the package was nowhere to be found. This was exactly why I went through the above process. I went to the post office to check out what happened tonight and was made to feel like it was my fault by the supervisor. He told me that I was somehow supposed to have known that if I have a housemate--I other words, someone else that gets mail at this address--they wouldn't hold my mail in spite of the fact that I'd put a hold in place. When I suggested that I should've been informed of this fact when filling out the form, he said that this would be a waste of resources to tell every single customer this incredibly basic information I could not have known otherwise. He also played up the fact that I'd come in a week after the fact. I came as soon as I found out this happened and was able to, the very next business day. Given that he works a 9-5 he should probably have a bit more empathy about the difficulty someone might have to get things done during the day. I just found out that due to their error, my new phone was not delivered. Try living without a phone these days. I can't just keep going out and buying new ones or calling the police as he suggested I do, especially given I don't have a phone... I've otherwise had good experiences here, but this was awful. Writing this review won't change a thing, but at least my experience is out there. Hopefully management will take note. This is just not an okay way to treat folks and it absolutely is your responsibility to inform us of things we couldn't possibly be aware of.

It's cool when you step inside from the summer heat and you see all the old materials and textures of the interior. The outside is a fine edifice too. I wasn't sure if you need to pay for parking but didn't see any signs. No lot but there are spots right in front of the building. No lines - in fact, I was the only person there.

Online tracking - it was said an attempt was made on Dec 24 at 9:01 am, but there was no safe place to leave it and a note was left. This is incorrect. No note was left at door or mailbox. There were people home and no delivery was left. Now the post office is closed until after christmas. The driveway is long & I'm guessing the driver may not have wanted to bother. This is unexceptable and disappointing. Do better Bernardston postal driver!

I received a delivery notification that the package was delivered today at 8:11 am and given to an individual. I was standing in the area that it should have been delivered for about 30 minutes and there was no delivery attempted and I still have not received the package. I have tried calling their phone number and the automated system picks up and provides the business hours but then hangs up giving no opportunity to speak with anyone. Terrible.

My mom is elderly and he patiently advised us on all our options for mailing our package to California. We were concerned about insurance and he broke down our choices and suggested Priority mail with extra insurance which we chose. I generally mail through work but my mom convinced me to stop in with her and I'm glad I did. I was informed that it was already being loaded onto the FedEx truck. She rushed off the phone to see if she could grab it off the truck. She called me back within minutes to let me know that it was taken care of. She seemed excited that she could take care of this for me. I am so appreciative and would highly recommend this company.
