Porta potties were well maintained during the few months that we used them and were picked up quickly when we let them know we no longer needed it. Container arrived on time and was placed exactly where I need it. I received a phone call asking if I needed a pickup which I didn't need yet, because it was bigger than what I needed. Then the Friday before last I got home to find the container was gone I thought maybe my contactor called to remove it, so I call him, he said no and that he still needed it. So I checked my phone for messages and found that I received two calls. One stating that if I need a pick up to please call, so I assumed maybe they came to dump it for me, then I heard second message telling me if I didn't call by 5 they were taking the container. Being 5:15 on Memorial weekend I didn't call back thinking they would be closed for the weekend. I was very busy Tuesday and forgot to call so on Wednesday I messaged them that the contract stated only if I called would the container be picked up and asked how could they fix this. No reply to my email.No call and no email. customer service isn't important to them. I was charged $5 a day after the ten days I had it for a month due to contractor scheduling issues. I would say by how I, a paying customer was treated, if they can make more money off of someone else kiss your container good bye. They didn't reply to a private email maybe this will get reply. I did do some cost-comparison shopping online before calling, but pricing was pretty much the same all-around and went with GMC because they are a local business. I called in the morning because their website says if you call early enough and they have the size dumpster you need, they can get it to you same-day in all probability. I never expect "same day" anything from anyone. I spoke with Jay who was very pleasant and professional. He asked me a few basic questions, determined what size I'd probably need, and gave a price. He also said he had the dumpster available and could have it to me in a few hours. I was floored! I expected next day at the earliest! Jay himself arrived as promised a few hours later with the dumpster. In person, Jay is just as approachable and professional as he is on the phone. He even placed wooden slats under the dumpster to minimize the potential of harming my driveway. Classy. I paid my rental fee, got my receipt, and started in on my projects. A few days later, the dumpster was ready to be taken away. I called in and spoke with a lady (I can't remember her name, but it turned out to be Jay's wife) informing her the dumpster could be picked up. She said she'll have someone out in about a day or two. That was fine. I was away when the dumpster was removed, but when it was, I'd have never known I had a dumpster. No residual trash or marks/dents left behind on my driveway. All around, it was a great experience with GMC. Professional, affordable, and a sheer pleasure to do business with. My neighbors a few weeks later used GMC for their dumpster needs which was great to see. Also a friend who lives in the next town over (within GMC's coverage area) asked about my experiences and will be calling GMC for his dumpster rental needs.
