Certainly as we have more work to do these folks will be at the top of our options list.

I was impressed by their professionalism and teamwork (by a crew of four, utilizing built-in radios in their helmets for communications). They showed up on time and completed the job in four hours, including a trip back to their shop to bring in a tracked excavator. I've worked with two other tree service companies and Wilcox is by far a "monadnock" by comparison, both in terms of performance and cost. Wilcox will be my "go-to" company for all future tree work! Their price was beyond what we could afford, so I started shopping around. W.E.Brown roofing had good reviews, so we called them about the stand-alone structure. Their price was in our budget, and we really liked the knowledge and experience of the fellow who came out to spec the job, Ron Bush. They were able to get us on the schedule fast, and the team that came out to replace the roof did a great job. It looks beautiful, and the technology behind the new shingles is impressive. A couple sheets of plywood needed to be replaced, and they needed to brace one of the rafters to hold the plywood securely. They explained everything they were doing and why it needed to be done. I was worried the price would shoot up, but it ended up being entirely reasonable, and now that structure's roof is going to last for years. I'm really happy with them, and we're going to go with Brown when it comes time to replace our main roof. It was a really good experience. I don't think anyone really *wants* to get this kind of work done, but when you need it, you need it, and they made it not only painless, but pleasant.

They are good communicators, and were able to understand what I wanted and make recommendations (I had them redo our bathroom - remove an old narrow shower stall, replace flooring, remove an old broken whirlpool tub, put in a larger walk-in shower, new vanity). They were upfront about cost and time and were very sensitive to my needs, especially cost-wise. Frankly, they are both just super nice people with a lot of construction experience. They did an amazing job turning my bathroom into a functional space with more shelves for storage, painting it, installing everything including the new flooring. I recommend R n E Renovators without reservation for anyone looking for a couple of stand-up guys doing excellent work!
