As a salesman, Brad sold me everything a man with knowledge of roofing would want. I don't know it all but enough to hire someone. They didn't protect my investment at all. brand new trim, screens, siding and gutters were damaged and there wasn't a side of the house that didn't get hit throwing shingles off the house. all they had to do was set up netting and they didn't 100%. They didn't even have their "In house" crew do the work. I payed extra for work that didn't get done or addressed in the long run. Their head foreman joe came out a talked down about what the "in house" crew would do differently.....well I swear that's who I hired!!!! things like the size of the drip edge over hang was over looked but was promised(its the little things). I payed extra for framing to be done to make a section of roof more sturdy. They didn't even return that amount. also there were damaged screens and back end I had to paint over. I got 3/4 of what I payed for framing back to "repaint the back side"????? this may not happen to you but make sure you get everything in writing and everything you agreed on gets done and done right. I told myself don't mess around its your roof so I picked them from being voted top 3 in Keene and I told myself they don't need to be checked on. I gave brad a check before they were done, he gave me his word. yes my roof doesn't leak but they didn't leave my place better than they found it I end up fixing a bunch of things for example putting the gutter back in the right spot. good luck with your project! read more

The only truly good thing I can say about my experience is that there is a new roof on my house now but the rest of the experience was terrible. I worked with Joe from WE Browning, he was a decent guy at first during the invoicing for my metal roof replacement. It should have been a simple job which he himself said would take 1 day. Instead, he forgot the date he was going to come (Monday) and sent a subcontractor from Maine to do the work starting on Tuesday. This guy and 2 other roofers came to the house, they spent more time talking and leaf blowing my driveway (for some reason) then doing any roofing work. The subcontractor spent a wild amount of time on the phone in his truck while not roofing. Joe then came and informed me the job would be $1400 more expensive for strapping on the roof (which exceeds the 10% agreed upon possible increase from the original invoice.) I said fine just because I wanted to get through the process but I wasn't super happy. They ended their first day just barely having stripped the first side of the roof. I was promised it would be done the next day... that didn't happen. Things seemed to be falling apart at this point and it wasn't until Thursday evening when I was informed that Joe was now firing the subcontractor who turned out to be stealing tools/equipment from the company. So, 4 days into a "1 day job" there was 1 piece of metal roofing on my house, and it was supposed to rain the next day. Joe brought his crew out the next day to get the job done. I've done the rest of the work on my house and wanted this project done in a fair and stress free way to save me from worrying about it but that DID NOT happen. Joe's "team" took way longer than promised, left screws, garbage and cigarette butts on my property, one of them turned out to be a thief who hung out at my home for 3 days and stayed late even after it got dark, and barely anything got done. Then Joe decided that it would be "fair" to upcharge me for his inconvenience and potential profit loss on the job from his own mistake of hiring a new subcontractor that was untested. I had a nasty leak in my slate roof, big rain storm coming in two days. Brad worked his magic to get a crew out to repair the roof in 24 hours. I don't know how he managed it, but I can't thank him enough. read more
