He told us he no longer used the business name "Dubey Brothers Chimney LLC" because his brother had quit. We found a number of complaints under the former name at the Better Business Bureau - https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/hillsborough/profile/chimney-sweeper/dubey-brothers-chimney-llc-0051-92069128/complaints - After finding the complaints we decided to purchase a cap and install it ourselves. Jim just completed an amazing restoration in our log cabin. After 50 years, we knew we had some…read morewall damage and some critters and Jim faced our challenges head on. He devised a plan to preserve as much of the original pine walls as possible and integrated the new pieces beautifully. He identified the root of the problem - leaks at the chimney - and he had it sealed and patched fast. We then made a surprise discovery - our old log beam mantle had rotted through. We had no idea how we would find a piece of wood that would match the cabin and Jim worked magic. In two hours he found a gorgeous salvage mantle replacement - amazing. I can't recommend them more highly thoughtful, hard working and collaborative. He solved all of our problems and we plan to work with him as our go to crew from now on.
