I'm usually here to return Amazon purchases and often end up waiting in line to hand my package to a staff member. During my visit today, I overheard an employee telling another customer that they have a self-service kiosk specifically for Amazon returns. I decided to give it a try, and it was easy breezy! Just scan your code, answer a couple of questions, print the label, and attach it to your package. Much better than waiting in line. I'll definitely be using the self-service option again.

When I got there I was told the new owner had raised the price to 51 cents per copy. What used to cost me a little over $100 was now almost $400. I was told the new owner had raised the price on copies to be competitive. I was also told the owner had called other UPS stores in the area to compare pricing before their price increase. I called other UPS stores in the area and found prices for copies were between 14 cents and 27 cents so this was a lie. Their copies are almost double what other UPS stores are charging. I think I will take my business to the one of the other UPS stores!

I already had postage on my items so all I needed to do was find the drop box next to the self-service kiosk and thankfully skip the lines, and my mission was accomplished with ease. Really the only downfall here is the parking lot, which is a bit small and confusing; the entrance and exit are both one way but look like they could be two- way and those that went in and are exiting may get caught up in traffic that is just stopping to use the curbside letter drop. I would avoid this location in the days leading up to tax day, it could get real clustery real quick!

The page said the realtime wait time was just 6 minutes - yes 6 minutes - but I stood in line over 20 minutes just to get to the front desk. Needless to say, their "paperless" is a load of crap, as you must have a PAPER copy of proof of residence. Yes, it is 2018 and not 1956, so my lease and all of my utilities are paperless, and they would NOT accept an ecopy, and would not allow me to print (they told me they "can't print here", even though there is a printer 3 feet away on their desktop. I left, ran home and grabbed the ONLY paper I have with proof of residence - my USPS confirmation of mail forwarding - and returned. I arrived right at 12:00 at the door (I'm literally less than 10 minutes away) and the lot was almost empty and the door locked. Yes, they claim to be open until 12. What a friggin waste of a beautiful Saturday morning. Government incompetence at its finest.
