The notice they left for my signature-required delivery sent me across town to the wrong post office! It was a big waste of my time.

I don't deal with USPS often bc I know what I'm paying for, so I generally stick with the larger private delivery companies, but when you have to deal with the VA and other vendors that uses USPS, I have no say. So I had to request for my PCP (outside VA) to prescribe my meds and explain my situation and send all my docs and have it deliver the next business day with FEDEX, it cost Extra but at least I know i can rely on it being here and I'm not going for another 5 days without it. No matter how hard I tried to plan accordingly and ensure I have my refill before I finish my bottle, something outside of my control will always dictate the outcome. I mean what more can you expect...time has changed for sure. COVID has really changed our way of life, our processes/systems, the workforce and how we treat people. All I wanted was my meds. That's it. I don't even wanna talk to people, just deliver my damn meds.

I have been sending several packages lately due to the holidays and they always suggest methods to make me save such as switching envelopes, choosing the correct packages, etc. They have a self-service kiosk as well if you just want to print out shipping labels. I use their kiosk mostly for flate rate box labels. Thank you, USPS.

Next time you need to just go to the Post office, take a friend or out of town visitor here. It is definitely tourist friendly. The elevator was photo worthy but due to a time restraint I could not go picture crazy. The coffee shop was worthy to visit and grab a donut or cup of coffee but poor barista was doing a couple of jobs at one time. He was struggling to help 3 customers and my watch was ticking so maybe next time our family will come have a coffee and donuts. The post office had the beautiful historic touch and my son adds it even have a smell of history. I understood well and it was not that bad smell but it had that historical groove and you felt good vibes here. It was kind of like a Mr Roger's neighborhood flavor and modern mixed in one. I enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be back. This trip to the post office brought a new experience and excitement about Tacoma! The hospitality at the actual post office was the highlight moment. Genuine old fashioned customer service and genuine smiles. The smiles was all contagious among strangers too. It is so many hidden gems of history in this place. Please Yelpers if you come , you will get camera crazy. I started to but my husband was restless for his other errands. But husband dear, I am going to sweet talk him to bring me back for a great coffee date. Thank for so much history in this place. I love and it was our conversation piece all day.

When I have the option, I actively avoid using this carrier--but unfortunately, that choice isn't often available. Despite only servicing a few complexes, the local team appears to be severely understaffed. They rarely deliver packages--regardless of size or delivery request status--and scheduled deliveries are routinely marked as "no safe place to leave," even when that's blatantly inaccurate. I've been told there's "no space in the truck" for packages, yet even with their limited focus on paper mail, I frequently receive items meant for neighboring units or even completely different buildings. On top of that, I regularly receive mail for former residents. Even after clearly marking it as "Not at this address" and returning to the outbox multiple times, the same pieces of mail are put right back into my box with no resolution. It's an endless, ignored loop. Attempting to retrieve packages in person is no better. Even when the post office is empty and staff are present, I've been told to "come back another day," with no guarantee I'll actually receive my item then either. The PO boxes are all full, and redirecting mail is both expensive and unnecessarily complex--making it an unreasonable workaround for a problem caused by their own system. The service is completely unreliable, often unprofessional, and has caused significant disruptions to my ability to receive essential deliveries. I can't take time off work just to chase down mail during their limited hours, only to be turned away or find my items returned to sender. This is an ongoing issue that needs real attention and accountability. TL;DR: this has been the singular bane of my existence since moving to milton

BUT HAVE SOME PATIENCE! People wouldn't think so low of you if you showed a little consideration. If the line is long ya I get it, hurry things along. But when there's 4 people in line and you're trying to get me in and out within 10 seconds. Just slow your roll a little and give a little consideration to your fellow human being. Doesn't have to be with a smile but be friendly, even if 1/2 the people coming in hate you because of someone else's mistakes. You're a better person then them, prove us wrong that you are better than the other USPS's in the area. Because you have a long way to go before you're facilities will be anything close to the MailSpot.
