i am soooooo mad.....dont use this post office you will truly be sorry..... wow...package going from ferndale wa was going to napa ca....can anyone take a wild guess to where it is now????...sent out sept 15th, went to kent wa., was there for 15 days then went to hawaaii arrived on oct 3rd and it is now oct 8th and is still in hawaaii and hasnt moved...yep their incompetency just floors me.....stay tuned....for more of their unreliable ridiculas stupidity!!!................find my package!!!!!!! heads up to everyone....very, very, important!!!! do not send packages till after the new year.. they are not being honest with people. they are revamping everything and your packages will be stuck in limbo for weeks!!! i asked the lady why they didnt tell me when i sent my package, "her reply was they are not suppose to tell you that" i was blown away....so my package wasnt important to them they are all about the $$$ and nothing else matters. go ups even if you have to pay extra otherwise...say goodbye to your package...they might get it by the following christmas....might is the key word!!! read more

Truly the laziest postal people to ever exist. We have had a multiple instances where the driver had deemed our driveway "not drivable" and they refuse to walk our packages 20 feet to our door, and instead make us come wait in line at the office for 20 min to pick up our packages because they're too lazy to get out of their car and put it on our porch. You're telling me you can drive around in snow and ice and make it all around town, but can't drive into my completely flat driveway? If you don't want to do your job and deliver the packages, then get a new job :) And don't even think about being able to call the office and talk to someone because they just hang up on your after the second ring. read more

At the present time, this post office is My first choice. ALL of the clerks here are outstanding. They listen. They are patient. They are kind and upon occasion, I have seen them laugh !! I think others who visit this location are also appreciative of having such a great little post office in practically our backyard..as when the lines are long (we are talking about the post office) they seen a whole lot more patient and less prone to complaining;) I live halfway between this branch and Couple locations In Bellingham and I choose this one every time even if it is out of My way. The only advice would be check online for holidays before you make a trip and be kind.. these guys have a lot they have to put up with. Keep up the awesome job Ferndale USPS!!! read more

My experience today was that a clerk picked up the phone on the third ring and helped me track a package. She was pleasant and helpful.

No one ever answers their one phone number. I am disabled, do not drive and it is difficult for me to get in and deal with a problem. Packages get returned because they have my street address instead of my po box. We have no mailboxes on the street and I have lived here since 1997. I try to list my street address so a company will deliver by another carrier, but often it ends up going by the postal service..........If I can't reach them by phone, there is no way to let them know to hold the package until I can get someone to pick it up. There must be a solution, but I have yet to find it. read more

so far i have had to pay for a package to be delivered that was opened and most contents taken and although the company i work for paid shipping i got a notice to pay for them to deliver the package they took. This last week 5 packages missing. They have been out for delivery for 5 days now and got a notice that 2 packages are lost. NOW i have 3 packages missing just today. Complaints have been filed. I've only lived at this address in Sandy point since the end of September. 3 other packages ( a large bunny house ), Xmas tree etc have come up missing. Companie nothing is ever done with my complaints other than more comes up missing. I recommend staying as far away from this area as you can because people here like to steal and not deliver packages read more

It's only a matter of time before they are closed and bulldozed down (just like the one on 116th in Bellevue) - the for sale sign has been up for years and all my registered letters and packages go to Twin Lakes (boo.....so far away). Lines are always crazy long here - staff is either happy, friendly and fast or grumpy, nasty and slow (can never guess 'em). They don't even deserve a star. They deliver my mail to neighbors and deliver neighbors mail to me. They sometimes don't pick up my outgoing mail for up to 4 days. Deliver my bills late and then take forever to get my mail to where it's going resulting in late fees and interest. When complaining to Washington they forward the complaint to the ferndale postmaster who then tells me I should drop off my mail at the post office. Typical government bs. read more

I've been here a couple dozen times over the years. The few times that I interacted with a clerk was fine. They don't take a long time and they line moves. This location is open at night so you can buy stamps and use the machine to weigh packages and send them off which is super helpful to me since I work a lot. The parking lot is one way which is confusing for some so drive slow. read more

Like all post offices the staff feel kind of annoyed, things seem slow and it's not in great shape. That being said the staff are pretty helpful once you start talking to them and they do everything you need for pretty cheap. Also a big pro in my book is my dog jumped out of my car and came to find me and they let him sit on the floor while we finished everything up. read more

As far as US Post offices go, this one is pretty run down. The grass and gardens are trampled, and could be replaced with sidewalks. The service is slow, and there is almost always a long line. read more

Multiple times I've had to go pick up a package for one excuse after another. Once package was too heavy, and now the most recent, won't fit on the mail truck. DON'T TAKE THE PACKAGE IF YOU AREN'T CAPABLE OF DELIVERY!!! I wouldn't be having something shipped if I had the ability to get it myself. Not my responsibility to fulfill your duty. read more

2 of the Ferndale USPS drivers are worthless! They are absolutely not kind at all and actually VERY rude. One guy's has been there forever and the other is about 70 years old.. Those two are absolute TRASH. If you hate your job so much then quit!! Never had much help inside the store either. I really hope US mail bankrupts and those two lose their jobs and UPS can take over. read more

Clerks named Eunice and Young have the worst customer service. I am a regular customer and they repeatedly treat their customers in such a rude manner. They gossip/fight in their Korean native language in front of customers and are terribly slow. Very frustrating when I try to mail things off during my lunch break. One time, because Young was mad at John for some reason (another clerk at the Federal Way location), she stormed off to the back leaving the front unattended and there was at least 10 people in line. I have a picture of the customers in line if you want to see it... as well as a picture of the front area with no employee helping people for a solid 10 mins at least. Finally John appeared helping people. Young comes back later to say something rude to John in front of all the employees. It was awful to see an employee treat another employee like that.. and I am sure it was very embarrassing for him. After helping 1 or 2 people, Young storms off again. Unacceptable. I would say I waited for a total of 30 mins before getting helped, since John was pretty much alone. Eunice is another HORRIBLE clerk. Gossips in her native language all of the time with Young while assisting customers. I request that you talk to these two employees because they are a horrible representative of the Federal Way post office. Thank goodness for John and the other clerk that is sometimes there. I think her name is Myong? Myong and John are ALWAYS courteous and friendly... not to mention efficient. Please, please talk to Young and Eunice about their horrible customer service skills... because it makes me want to take my business elsewhere. read more

I love this Post Office so much! It's by far my favorite! The employees are friendly, efficient and all around awesome! The employees give you great one on one service when it's your turn at the counter. And they keep even long holiday lines moving quickly. Good luck getting them to answer a phone or help you with an issue. I only use fed ex or ups because the post office is so terrible.

I was very happy with my experience. I was dropping off pre-paid packages. At some post offices, I still have to wait to see a postal clerk. At this post office, they had a drop box in the office. Very convenient!! read more

My package somehow ended up there going from Oregon to Cali. I found the staff very helpful when I called for help in locating my package. Liz Ohno was incredibly helpful and looked into the matter for me and assured me I would probably be getting my package in the next couple of days. I went in to mail some cards and a package, there was one Asian woman working and as soon as we got up to her - she got a phone call..she took it and walked to the back..leaving no one behind the counter..she then came back and started taking care of us..I had one card that had a little raised butterfly for decoration..but just a plain card..she said I had to pay extra..then I had two other cards and each had two tea bags..because I am in a tea exchange..I have mailed them many times to the same people..the one to NJ she said had to be concidered a package! She stuck huge stickers over it and charged me a fortune..the next was to Austrailia..she said I had to fill out a customs sheet for this card! I never had before...well by this time the line was outragious..I paid the rip off price for my shoe box"10.99"return on some sandals and my other letters...ended up taking my other card home to take back at another time ...very annoyed!
