I think others who visit this location are also appreciative of having such a great little post office in practically our backyard..as when the lines are long (we are talking about the post office) they seen a whole lot more patient and less prone to complaining;) I live halfway between this branch and Couple locations In Bellingham and I choose this one every time even if it is out of My way. The process is usually longer than it needs to be. There's only one person working the front, but several people walking around that can help and just choose not to. But what I definitely was not expecting was the excellent customer service! It appears to be family run and not only we we taken care of right away, everyone who Came through the door was attended to pretty mu chi immediately! We did have to wait for of documents to print out but the shop had many interesting hand crafted items from a variety of local vendors. They also have P.O. Boxes and packing and shipping services! Highly recommend and I will definitely come back here before going into Bellingham for similar services!

Pioneer Park is the perfect combination of a beautiful outdoor park plus the chance to take in some…read morelocal history. When you first enter the park you're greeted by a row of hand-built, historical buildings made by Whatcom County's earliest settlers and relocated to (what would eventually become) Pioneer Park. If you go on a day that some of the houses are open, for a small donation you can take a tour hosted by volunteers who know pretty much everything about the history of Ferndale and the county! The tour houses are set up with relics from the past - it's so interesting to see how the early settlers lived. Past the houses are open spaces where concerts are held, and the iconic barn which is the home of weddings, dances, and beer gardens throughout the summer. It's always fun to attend one of Pioneer Park's signature events, the Old Settlers Festival, where you are greeted with a ribbon denoting how long you've lived in these here parts, and then you get to enjoy the various vendors (and of course food!) before embarking to the barn where you will pretty much run into everyone you've ever known! Pioneer Park is also home to the beautiful and amazing Star Park, a children's playground build entirely by community volunteers. So now there are fun things for the little ones to do here, too!

I lived in the New England apartments during the 11-12 WWU Academic year. Looking back, I can't…read morebelieve they charged such an astronomical amount of money to live in that poorly finished shoe box. Neighbors were CONSTANTLY throwing loud parties and allowing party-goers to use all of the tenant parking with no consequences. It was rare to find a parking spot in my own apartment complex. As if the lack of parking wasn't enough, my car was also damaged multiple times in the lot due to their unaccommodating parking spots. The complex also had no outdoor cameras to monitor the parking lot, so I had no recourse when my car was hit. What's more, RPM did not require parking passes so everyone and their brother parked at the complex and walked up to Campus. RPM neglected to properly maintain their fire alarm equipment (located in an exterior shed-like compartment which was connected to the first building in the complex). For DAYS an alarm was sounding (keeping countless students up at night) because RPM couldn't be bothered to send out a representative to maintain the equipment - Equipment that could potentially effect the lives of hundreds of people if a fire were to occur. I personally called RPM countless times with no response and if I remember correctly, it took 3 days for them to come out and fix the issue. Something that bothered me on a frequent basis was that RPM didn't respond to phone calls or written communication. They also failed to respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Rent from somewhere else.
