Worst post office ever! The mail man left the key to get my package broken in half. Then i came here to fill a complaint and ask how can i get my mail and the told me someone will call you in a couple hours so!! No body call me! I went back the next day and they told me I can't help you because the Supervisor is not here and he was the only one there... is it that hard to be a mail man? If you coming here to fix a problem be prepare because they won't help you and you will have to waste your time coming here over and over!!! read more

So far I have nothing good to say about the post office or Amazon who uses them as a carrier. Guaranteed delivery, not available, you get it when they feel like bringing it. Amazon services are a joke. Here in El Paso most people speak Spanish. Amazon customer service agent only speak badly broken English and they don't understand basic English sentences. Would Spanish help, no they're from the Philippines or India. As for services and getting things delivered on time this office is useless as are most. This is the reason the us postal service is slowly shutting down. It is also the reason you're paying outrageous prices they're trying to make up for the losses of their incompetence. Like everything else in this country the post office employees apparently don't feel the need to do their job properly and we have to suffer. Stop blaming Covid because nobody is following the guidelines anymore so that's no excuse for this. Post master general if you're listening revamp the entire system and get people willing to work. read more

Literally all idiots! My husband took off with the mailbox key, I call and ask how I can get a copy of the key and if it's in even possible. They say yeah it shouldn't be a problem just bring proof of residence and ID to this office on George dieter. OKAY GREAT! I drive down with my utility bills and ID..... a lady approaches when I enter the building asking if I have questions. I told her I just need a copy of my mailbox key. She immediately asks for my rental agreement.... I was confused and said why would I need that??? Apparently the ONLY FREAKING THING THEY ACCEPT IS A RENTAL AGREEMENT. I thought the lady was joking......nope. I asked her why on earth don't they accept utility bills?? And she says, oh it's too easy to be added to a utility bill. Why on earth would I be on EVERY SINGLE UTILITY BILL AND NOT LIVE THERE. I mean hello ......its just as easy to print up some online rental agreement and just sign in on the spot. She claimed she knows the difference..... YEAH OKAY LADY. So I say screw it and head to my house! I search everywhere and finally I find the damn lease. I drive all the way back to this stupid post office. Wait in line for 40 damn minutes just to be told.... WE DON'T HAVE FREAKING COPIES AVAILABLE. All I can do is pay 25 dollars for a new lock which takes 3 weeks!!!! WHY THE HELL DIDN'T SHE TELL ME THIS WHEN I FIRST CAME HERE ASKING FOR A FREAKING COPY!!!! IDIOTSSSSSS! You guys owe me 15 bucks in gas money. read more

What kind of post office has purely one star reviews and never I repeat never answers The phone? This one right here it's hard to believe that this is the US PS one of the biggest services in the country and it's hard to believe that they accept one star reviews and have a phone at their office that they never used to speak with customers. What kind of people is the USPS hiring? the people working there should be embarrassed to have consistent one star reviews. I can already tell I don't ever want to go inside that office just by look at reviews and observing how they care so little to not even pick up the phone.. apparently they're so busy that not one person can answer the phone but I bet that's not even true because it's not that hard to answer a phone. Do better US PS maybe you need to hire Some better quality people at your post office judging by your ratings and the lack of attentiveness to the phone that you pay for. You should be downright embarrassed as an organization fix your office and pick up the damn phone. read more

If I could I would give them 0 stars. My first viist here was a month ago at the beginning of November 2018 I had moved in to my new house on the 1st and came in to order my keys. My first complaint is that tiny window were you order or pick up. It seems incredibly unorganized and it seems that everytime you need something from them you will be in line for at least 30 mins. I work the same schedule as the Post office so on my next day off on December 7th 2018. 1 month after I ordered my keys I came in to pick them up And guess what.. they were not ready, after arguing with this man telling me that he was unable to get me a supervisor or give me any supervisor's information I had to go to the other side of the Post Office and look for one myself. She was apologetic and a little bit more down to earth, she understood my anger and told me that she would personally find my key and told me if I could take some time off and pick it up on Monday the 10th and she would have them for me. Well I was there, 50 mins at the little window from hell to pick up my mail and 20 mins at the other side of the post office just waiting for a supervisor. Finally a gentleman shows up, he searched her desk (she had been at lunch for more than 1 hour by this point) and they couldn't find any keys with my address at her desk. This Male supervisor told me he was going to give me a call once they figured it out, but I decided not to leave, I already had more than an hour invested in this place, so I just waited in there for a while because that Gentleman did not tell her that I was waiting... and can you guess the outcome of all this? NO KEYS... They did not have them, supposedly the person that was going to make them got sick... And just to give you an insight on my waiting time I arrived there at 150pm and left at 338pm. Its a ridiculous place. I have never experienced a worst Post Office here in El Paso. But I'm stuck. Because it is the one for my zip code. What I CAN tell you from my super long wait. Is that the guys on the mail side of the Post Office (not the little window from hell) were super nice and polite with everyone that they helped, there was this older gentleman working on his window that would joke with almost every customer. read more

My mom sent me a priority package from France on December 7t. The package was received at the Sandy Creek post office on December 13th but was never delivered nor did they bother living me a notice on my door. I went on January 3rd to ask about my package but they told me that it wasn't there. I had to go again and this time they found it. The guy told me that he had no idea what had happened but that I should be happy I finally had it. Real nice but my mom paid a fortune for me to have it fast. What a bad attitude and service! Let's not mention the time spent waiting in line. read more

I've been waiting here for over an hour for a prescription that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but conveniently the mail man ding dong ditched me leaving me without my VA heart and ptsd medicationS! Unacceptable!!! There should be a separate line for people waiting on ACTUAL medication LIFE saving medication instead of mail holds lost keys etc! This is pathetic one person working out of a freaking door for at least 75 people waiting in line. Common sense does not seem be common here. I will be contacting Mr Orourke my congressman. This is so unprofessional, we have veterans like me that would kill for a job but this place seems to be always conveniently undermanned. -RET USN VET read more

Assholes. Called to ask a simple question and someone picked up and hung up. Called again and a guy answered... I started to ask my question and he hung up on me!!!!!! Really!??!!! How hard is it to be professional and friendly!? read more

The service area for this post office has become too big for them to handle. For anything other than mailing out a package, the lines are super long. It took them six weeks to re-key a mailbox and that was after I complained about it. Picking up packages is a nightmare. I did get my passport done at this location and that service went smoothly, but they do nickel and dime you to death. I wish I had another option. read more

This post office keeps returning things. First it was my concealed carry, they returned it 3 times. Then my new drivers license. The lines are always terrible. Not like you have a choice on your post office or they care about your yelp rating, but they suck read more

I wish there was a zero star rating. Sandy Creek post office has refused to answer my complaint. I complained that their letter carrier or who ever delivered my package did not verify the identity of the person who signed for it. I had paid specially for this service to ensure that the person who got it was the person listed on the package. Per the USPS rules the letter carrier was to verify the identity and have them legibly print and sign their name and date it. Apparently none of this was done. Now I do not know who signed for the delivery and when. When I received back the return receipt card it was not dated, no name was printed, and the signature was only a scribble. Further more, they did not follow there own rules because the tracking status still shows IN-TRANSIT !! 2 months after I sent ti. They have not answered any of my complaints via the mandatory USPS complaint process. They do not answer their phones. This is a prime example of why the USPS has a horrible reputation read more

I am tired of getting someone else's mail. I receive other's mail at least twice a month. I put the mail back in the box; however, the carrier refuses to pick it up. You need to send someone to my address to pick up this mail--if not picked up by Friday, Nov. 24, 2018, I will mail to Cong. Beto O'Rourke"s office. .I can be reached at 915 593 8503. My address is 3425 McLean Street, El Paso, Texas. Other mail I have put in the drop box at the post office. I refuse to do this again. Sincerely, Clarence Davis III read more

This post office to opinion is the worst experienced ever. I had package but I wasn't home so they left me a the pick paper to pick it up. The address was the in Hercules road zip code 79904 but I live in 79938. We went to pick it up from one in Hercules road and told us the our package wasn't there and we have to pick it up in George Dieter road post office. To me is the manager need to fix this kind issues. I would not recommend this post office at all. The is why I don't even want to put any stars for this review. read more

I moved from California to El Paso in July. The following week we opened a P.O. Box until we could find a house. We found and closed on our house on 8/10/18. I ordered some items for my Daughters birthday but sent them to our home address before getting our keys to our mailbox (I know; shame on me). Anyway. I went to the post office to request our keys and they say it will take 3 weeks, but to place a hold on our mail and have all our mail sent to the post office, and any mail that is in our mail currently in our mailbox will be at the post office for pick up on Thursday. She told me this on 8/21. We went back to the post office on 8/25 and they said there is no mail for us at the post office. I said I know we have at least four packages waiting in our box; so they say that is weird ( It's not weird it happened several times) and have us fill out another request to have our mail placed on hold and it should be available by Monday. We fill it out again remember it's 8/25 (Saturday) we don't come back until Friday 8/31 guess what?! There is no mail for our address despite us having mail in our mailbox confirmed as delivered on 8/20. The mail person can see I am clearly aggravated and says she is going to make sure my key is made quickly. She tells us we will get our key by 9/1 or 9/4 well I didn't get it on 9/1 and I have little hope for getting it on 9/4. The way they conduct business is horrible. Apparently they are short staffed, and I have called several times and no one answers their phones, and the one time someone did answer, he said he would call me back with information about this issue and guess what?! No call. After all this is sorted out I will only be working with UPS. This is absolutely garbage. This could be the very reason why the postal service is dying; Poor customer service!! If I were you I would save your time and drive to where ever your mail needs to be delivered or picked up. Odds are even if it were in another country you could get it faster walking or swimming there than you can from this post office. Obviously they force you to give the place at least one star and I will willing give it for a time that I needed to retrieve a package that I was shipping, when they were closing and an employee did help me. I wish I remembered his name. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a star, this place is the worst service I have experienced, the lady in the front it really rude and she doesn't even bother to see you when you're talking to her. The postal service, worst thing, they have already lost my packages like 2 times, so bad, need a lot of improvements and better employers. read more

I decided to try this post office out after my last post office attempt. It wasn't hard to find and it was only fifteen minutes from the house. I parked with no problem as there was a spot right up front. When I walked in however.. I was taken aback by the line and by how many children were running around unattended. I got in line anyway hoping it would move fast as a lot of reviews stated it would. There was only one person working. I stood in line for about fifteen minutes with absolutely no movement. After waiting I grew impatient. I ended up leaving and going to the post office where the girls were rude. No lines. Bad parking. Bad customer service. But quick shipping. read more

Very in satisfies with the service of this USPS office. The mail man does not do his job right when he comes to deliver the letters to our apartment community and packages are not even dropped off at the apartment managers office. No notes that there is a package waiting at the usps office so you gotta guess and see for yourself if it's in there or not. Every time I needed to see the supervisor, in order to look for a letter or package, they won't even come out for up to 15min and althought the employees at the counter hit the buzzer they won't come out. read more

Worst experience ever. Had to stand in line for 40 mins just fill out the paperwork to get keys to the box at my new house. Had to go back a week later and stand in the same line to pick the keys up and get whatever mail came under my name. Got a stack of mail and keys and was shooed away. Got to the car and none of the mail was mine and when I tried the keys- they didn't work! Epic fail and it is not super close to the house- we need more options- this place is horrible! I pray they deliver packages to the house or Amazon prime will be a waste! read more

I've mailed 2 things, one package one letter to an address in El Paso and both times they were lost!!!

Lost my mail key and tried calling many times before having to go in person and find out what I needed to do in this situation well since I never got a pick up on the phone I drove there to find 2 lines so since I see on left side signs about lost keys I wait over 30 minutes in that line only to find out that I had to pay for a new key and also have to have my home mortgage documents to do so so come back home to get those things go back wait in the correct line this time fill out yellow for m to hold my mail there during the approximate 4 week wait it would take to get a new key, during the 4 weeks a neighbor finds my old key and I check my mail to find I'm getting mail here at my box regardless of having put it on hold to pick up at post office so had it not been for my neighbor my mail would've been sitting in mailbox all those weeks cause I go today since my key is no longer working and wait this tile an hour in line only to find out they can not find my yellow form and apparently my mail carrier has my new key. I ask employee there so what happens now do I have to come wait in your long line again to see when or if you have my key his reply, "I don't know, my supervisor just asked me to get your phone number to contact you later" here I am several hours later and no contact yet!! Worst customer service ever!! One side has about 4 people while the other has one person attending customers yet both have the same long line. read more

To hell with everything about this post office. I just moved and needed my mailbox key. So I go to the post office (of course not the one half a mile from my house, it has to be this one) and get in line. I get sent to another line. I stand in this line for an hour and a half. Yes, an hour and a half. Then I'm told that it will take six weeks to get the key to my mailbox! They actually expect people to wait in line for over an hour on a regular basis for six weeks to get their mail! I contemplated just getting a mailbox there, even though it's twenty minutes from my house. So I get sent to another long line to pay and go back to the hour long line again! We decided to skip the line and ask for a manager. Still took twenty minutes to see her. Fortunately, she was very professional and was able to put me at ease almost immediately. I'm still not happy with this place, but she sort of took care of me. Even trying to leave the parking was f-ing ridiculous. It's small, so hard to back out of the parking spots, plus it's always packed so no one will let you out anyway. I don't want to step foot in this post office again. read more

On multiple occasions I have received mail that does not belong to me and my mail has been delivered to my neighbors mailboxes. My neighbors have kindly brought the packages to my home and I have done the same. On the occassions I receive mail from addresses that are not close, I will write on the mail that mail was delivered incorrectly and return it to post office. Twelve days ago I should have received a package. I reported the item and was told that a supervisor would contact me so that I could explain the problem. After not receiving a call from the supervisor, I followed up and spoke to another agent. They took my number again and said they would look into the matter and a supervisor would call the following day. Again, no one from the post office has made contact. There is no accountability and no one to file a complaint with. It is an example, of big government bureaucracy at it's finest. read more

Waiting and waiting to pick up a package, you would think it's Christmas with a line like this and it's just a Monday in July. It seems ridiculous to have such a long wait, judging that I've been here almost 30 mins and the line has barely moved, I will likely be here another hour. read more

Don't expect to run in and out. I've never been to this facility and there were less than 15 people in line. They never have enough workers.

The mail service is terrible, the mail person always leaves my packages in someone else mail box or house. I have to be tracking it down because they wont check to see if is the correct address. That is why they are loosing customers, you don't get that kind of service from fed ex or ups read more
