I'm sick and tired of getting mail for previous tenants at this place I rent and they keep giving. I signed up to see what mail we were getting that day and they have refused to send any emails. They never answer the phone, the lines are long and I've never dealt with rude workers until I went into this usps. Beyond disappointed. I got keys thrown in my face when asking about why I haven't received three packages a week after delivery and told "here try these keys, don't know if they'll work" in an extremely rude tone. As you can see, I've been to this place a number of times now. Mostly because I have no choice, as I live on the Eastside of El Paso and this is the post office they force me to utilize when it comes to picking up packages people have forced signature confirmation on (seriously, what working person has time for this nonsense?!) That being said, believe me when I tell you I would sooner invoke the archaic rituals of receiving letters and packages via Pony Express than to, once again, set foot into this Gawd awful, slower than molasses conceptualized postal service of ineptitude at its absolutely tragic and most vexing. It's quite simple. Post offices should be efficient and easy to use. This one isn't. Everytime time you go to the pickup window, the line is always a mile long. Always. There really is no reason for this. I've been trying to figure it out for years now, but the only conclusion I've been able to come to is they don't give a shit about upgrading their services. Or maybe hiring a second guy to handle the window. Or maybe, just maybe...handle half of these services at the main teller desks the way Boeing post office does. I dunno what it is...but it seems like somehow, Boeing operates at a much faster rate than Sandy Creek. But my personal animosity against this place goes far beyond long lines that move slower than turtles wading through peanut butter or window guys who look more lethargic than Jordan Belfort on quaaludes. You see, yesterday took the cake for me. I had the misfortune of coming back to this place to pick up a package which....apparently couldn't be left in my mailbox (which locks, btw) because the seller decided they NEEDED to have signature confirmation, despite the package not being worth more than $300. But, I digress. Wanna know how long it took me to get my package? 45 minutes. No, it wasn't because of the long line. That part took 1 hour. The thing is, when you hand the guy the slip that reads "package will be available for pickup after 9:30am", you expect as much; especially considering this was around noon the next day. A few problems arose from the get-go.. 1.) They couldn't find the f*cking package. Which segways into 2.) The postman evidently didn't drop the package off in the correct location. So, there I am...already late for a meeting because I assumed I could actually get my package during my hour and a half lunch break and still have time to spare. Alas, there I stand for the next 45 minutes as these asshats frantically search the entire post office warehouse for my tiny package that could have just been left in my mailbox. Eventually, I get it....after 3 other customers behind me came and went. So, what did I think? I think that postman should be severely reprimanded or possibly fired. How hard is it to deliver packages? I think the management here should read all the reviews on this place and...I dunno....CARE more?? Oh, and it would be nice if they made their drop boxes available more often, instead of inexplicably closing them during the day without warning. At least then I wouldn't need to stand in line just to drop off a package when I've already paid for postage. Sandy Creek gets 1 line of vexed customers that wraps around the building twice....out of 5. This easily makes the longer drive to Boeing worth it. read more

Hate having to drive all the way to the post office to pick up my packages. Why can't they just be left at my doorstep like back in AZ?!! Just why?!! Anyways, drove over today at 3:30 thinking I still had an hour until they closed. So I reach the post office and the parking lot was FULL, there was no parking. So I drove around hoping that there would be an empty spot soon. So 10 minutes later, and I finally I get myself a spot. Yay! I walk on in and oh my lanta I almost fainted. The line was bad. Like really bad. This was my third visit to this post office and omg today I was shook. It was now 3:45 and I stand in line hoping that it's going to move fast. I was wrong. The time was now 4:00, and people were still coming in. I kid you not the line had not moved at all!! There was only one guy working, like always, which by the way he's really nice, but today the line was not moving. I decided to leave like tons of other people did, in fear of getting told to leave right at 4:30. I didn't want to waste more time. Anyways this place is a headache and the lines are always ridiculous. They need to either make more windows or have another employee help out the one guy that's always working alone... I had an issue with a carrier that delivered a magazine that was addressed to my neighbor on a different street. Even after I let him know of the mistake, he refused to take it to the proper owner. I know from reading other reviews that this local manager is awful about addressing issues so I went online and filed a complaint and received an answer the following day! It was resolved so I would suggest that people go this route instead of trying to get a resolution locally. read more

Worst Post Office in El Paso, dropped a package off in the drop box was never scanned or shipped out. Was told by a clerk that "they can't guarantee what's dropped off at the drop box because it wasn't given to one of them." Talked to the manager and he said stuff dropped in the drop box goes straight to the truck so that my package was most likely smashed and lost. How convenient. Filed the claim for lost or stolen because it was insured thru priority mail, and it was denied because i didnt show them proof thru video or pictures of me dropping it off. A lady came for her passport appointment, just to be told she wasn't on the list and then she leaves and they literally called for her name and also made a comment about her being dumb for not being up front when she was called. For mail box keys go in to the left and wait 3 million years. You will need proof of residence (rental/busters agreement), and ID. It will take about a month to get your keys and you will have to come here to get mail. For replacement keys first pay $25 at the customer service area to the right, then go to the left side and wait 3 million years to get to the counter. You will need to bring the receipt and the same documents as above. read more

Over the past many years, I have found this SANDY CREEK branch of the USPS (George Dieter/East Glen) on the Eastside of ark PasoTX-USA extremely useful/helpful. The 24-hour automated station is great, especially when I can select the size(large or small) of the pre-printed stamp (s) to accurately fit upon my package or envelop. Perhaps most important is rarely waiting in line, particularly on a Sunday morning and knowing that the following morning will be full of customers trying to get in and out. On the occasions when I've needed to queue for in-person assistance/ interaction with an agent, the personnel have been exceedingly courteous & helpful. Outside, the drive up box has been wonderful for letter-sized postage. This is important because I frequently stop here while cycling to post items and it is certainly always nice to not have to dismount from my eBikeKit-CruzBike. I have found this station to be in a superb location when cycling my usual Eastside loop. I highly recommend this facility, and it certainly has my enthusiastic/coveted "iWheel of Approval!" read more

If you can refrain from coming to this location I would advise you do so. At any given time there is line anywhere from 10-20 people. There is usually only one Clark working to give you mail or to receive mailbox keys; I came to get both. It took approximately 5-7 minutes for each person in lone to receive service. This made the line extend almost out the door with the slow customer service. The employees seem lifeless and don't seem to want to be there. I would take a picture but I don't want the line to feel awkward with me pointing my camera at them. Trust me, it's bad with no exaggeration. read more

I literally don't understand why the process to getting a key for your homes mail box is so painful and complicated. They only have 2 people working the counter, but I believe that is pretty much standard across all post offices nowadays, and for being understaffed, they managed the long holiday line quite well. (the few holdups were because of confused customers). If I could rate them a zero I would. I want to say that the US Post Office in El Paso is the worst I have ever seen. I have been to so called third world countries that operate better than this. I've been in thirty five countries. The post office has Sovereign Immunity and they can not be sued. They know this. That's why they stand there with that smug grin on their face while your trying to have a conversation with them. I have been waiting for my Security License to arrive from the State of Texas for five months now and I have gotten nothing. It costs me $17 every time I try to get the card redelivered. So I'm denied access to work because I can't get my mail delivered. I went out of town to work in September 2019 and I had my mail forwarded to that address. When I returned back to El Paso A MONTH LATER I have been trying to receive my mail back here. I have filed FOUR return service requests since October 2019. Four! Every time I go and speak to the post supervisor they bring me the September 2019 paper showing that I had forwarded my mail. Ignoring the fact that I HAVE A LETTER FROM THE USPS DATED NOVEMBER 20, 2019 SHOWING THAT MY MAIL HAD BEEN ROUTED BACK TO EL PASO. What's even more insulting is they disappear for fifteen minutes at a time. Then they reappear with that smirk on their faces. When I enquired about where she went I was told "oh she's been busy she's having her lunch now" or "she's been very busy she's gone to the toilet". I had set up a PO Box here in El Paso when I returned but after not getting any mail for three months I closed down the PO Box. They told me that I would receive mail at my home address after ten days. Guess what? I have received NO mail. NONE! I'm not going to waste my time going to the post office to deal with the incompetence at the post office. When you complain they take revenge against you by withholding your mail altogether like they are doing me. No matter how nice you say it. I even speak Spanish. But I'm a black gringo and they don't like it when you speak Spanish to them. It's not possible to reason with someone who can't even see that I have a letter from the USPS showing my mail was routed back to El Paso. Funny enough I got a hunting magazine a few days ago dated in October of last year 2019. The last time I went to the post office was the last week of January because my previous employer had received my W-2 forms returned saying that I had requested my mail be put on hold. With over 50 people waiting in line they only had 1 young girl helping with no desk, resources or help. So far I have nothing good to say about the post office or Amazon who uses them as a carrier. Guaranteed delivery, not available, you get it when they feel like bringing it. Amazon services are a joke. Here in El Paso most people speak Spanish. Amazon customer service agent only speak badly broken English and they don't understand basic English sentences. Would Spanish help, no they're from the Philippines or India. As for services and getting things delivered on time this office is useless as are most. This is the reason the us postal service is slowly shutting down. It is also the reason you're paying outrageous prices they're trying to make up for the losses of their incompetence. Two stars because their pickup window is a JOKE. There is always a HUGE line and a wait for at least 20 minutes. It's ridiculous. Have more windows or agents back there. The only positive? Self service 24/7 kiosk. As long as it fits in the Dropbox it's good to go. Downside? No non-flat rate boxes available. I don't like using flat rate boxes I've been here for over 30 minutes now.
