When the other clerk asked what was going on, the first clerk told her that this woman was going back home to Colombia tomorrow. I commented out loud that the service in this place was amazing. Then when the Colombian woman finished her transaction, she gave me a hug also. Five stars.

Thankfully, the balloon shop called me two hours before the party to let me know that no one had showed up, so I was able to frantically deploy relatives to pick everything up. And no picked up their phone when I twice called to confirm whether anyone was coming. The worst part? After I sent two follow up e-mails to Vamus expressing my disappointment and asking what had gone wrong, they could not be bothered to acknowledge or apologize for what is clearly their mistake. Had they owned up to it, I might have been willing to use them again.

Today was the second time I've gone into this business. I didn't leave a review the first time…read morebecause I figured I'd give them another chance, well... The first time I had a delivery of wine that seemed to cause major confusion, the first guy immediately handed me off to another guy, who asked to see my id, which I showed him. Then he scanned my tracking code on my phone, then he asked to see my id again, then he went to 'find' the box which was on a rack behind him and told him which box it was, but he looked at every other box first. Then he scanned the box and FOR THE THIRD TIME asked to see my id. Now the box is pretty heavy and other stores have almost always offered me help getting the box to my car, not here. I get that's not required but the offer would have been nice. Today I went to do an Amazon return, I never had to 'pack' my returns before so the box was unsealed and the original plastic was still on the box. The guy said 'this is Customer Packed' I asked if him that meant I needed to tape it shut and he said yes and remove the plastic. I guess they don't have packing tape in a UPS shipping store. Totally unhelpful, I will probably return to bring my now sealed box to complete my Amazon return, but this will be the last time I either have anything sent there or do a return from there. I guess real customer service is a thing of the past
